Dès le début du processus de conception de la Torch 3.0 Road, notre but était de créer une chaussure Route hautes performances riche en caractéristiques haut de gamme. Le défi était de rester dans une gamme de prix abordables.
Pour cela, nous avons soigneusement disposé et soudé ensemble trois matières sur la tige : TPU et mesh à l'avant, cuir synthétique à l'arrière. Le résultat est un avant plus confortable et qui maintient mieux le pied. L'arrière et la coque de talon rigides assurent un maintien efficace pour ne pas perdre une miette d'énergie. La légendaire semelle extérieure en composite carbone FACT™ contribue elle-aussi à un transfert efficace de la puissance. Enfin, nous avons doté notre Torch 3.0 de deux serrages rotatifs Boa® S2-SV Snap pour un ajustement précis qui garantit un confort durable.
Semelle extérieure et semelle de Body Geometry pour optimiser l'alignement hanche/genou/pied et améliorer les performances et le confort.
Semelle extérieure en composite carbone FACT et structure Torsion Box offrant une excellente rigidité directionnelle pour un transfert de puissance exceptionnel : indice de rigidité 8.5.
Double serrage rotatif Boa® S2-SV, léger et réglable en roulant.
Mesh, TPU et couche synthétique placés dans des zones spécifiques de la tige pour le confort et le maintien. Assemblage par thermocollage pour le confort.

I have 4 pairs of Speciaized shoes, all size 44. They all fit great. I bought these and tried them out only to have them rub my forefoot raw. Tried shoe stretchers/wideners with no luck. They are very narrow compared to all my other cycling shoes. For $250, I expected them to be the same size in comparison to all my previous Specialized shoes. I will be returning these.
Purchased a pair of Torch 3.0 from the LBS. They were a great buy and had my size (EU 48). I did not buy the Body Geometry Inserts at the time of purchase. First ride with the new shoes has some discomfort. Second ride was about 50 miles with the last 20 miles in foot agony. Inserted a pair of non-athletic inserts and did a ride of about 40 miles and overall had minimal discomfort. Back to the LBS and they fitted me for the Body Geometry inserts (Blue). Did a ride of 50+ with some good climbs and had zero discomfort. I felt the foot-insert-shoe-cleat-pedal were very aligned with good power transistion between the shoe and pedals. Take-away here is a very good cycling shoe when you dont skimp at the time of purchase! The inserts and shoes are a matched system.
Muy buen producto
I've been doing cycling for 37 years and thus, have worn many brands. This is the first shoe that I got out of the box and thought wow, that is a work or art. Then I put them on and they fitted beautifully to my foot. Then I went out for a ride with them, wow, every watt of power is not wasted from my legs threw to the pedal. They are easy to adjust as well whilst riding. I've been using them for 4 months now and they are still great. One of the best cycle investments I've made.
I didn't get further than my couch with these shoes. They were really hard to put on, even though they felt reasonably comfortable once they were on my feet. The uppers are stiff and the BOA closures do not allow the sides of the shoe around the tongue to open very wide, so you have to wrestle with the shoes just to get you foot in. I read about this problem in online reviews, but I dismissed it; it's a real problem. I returned the shoes. Life is too short to have to plan extra minutes to put your shoes on. Another problem is that the BOA mechanism on these shoes does not have a quick release for getting your foot out; you have to release the tension little by little, which takes forever. (I bought a pair of Northwave shoes instead: they're easy to get on, comfortable, and have BOA-like closures that release entirely when you want too take them off.)

Have used them for 10 rides and my feet feel better in them than my other shoes. Ordered the mid arch soles which are perfect for my high arches.

I bought these shoes on Black Friday sale, at that promotion price I think it is a very good product.
I bought my first pair 4 years ago. I put thousands of miles on those shoes including a couple of Ironman races and many 100+ mile rides. These shoes fit and breathe well and are very comfortable to me; I don't notice them on the bike making me feel like my feet are just part of the bike. They provide a nice strong platform for transmitting power to the pedals. The Boa straps provide easy in-ride micro adjustments as my feet shrinks and expands over time depending on level of effort. I just bought another pair on sale. Highly recommend.
Vast improvement from the torch 2.0. Much better quality uppers and tongue. The stiffness in the shoes is apparent in the power transfer. Better pressure point spread with the additional boa. Excellent shoe overall.
I have the Torch 2.0 that fits me just fine at size 10.5 (44), I'm size 10 so I ordered the same size for Torch 3.0 and I can't even put my feet inside the shoe. Loosened the BOA all the way still can't put my feet inside. Avoid this shoe.

I read a reviews that claimed the toe box on the Torch 3.0 is roomier, but that’s simply not the case. These are narrow shoes with a tight toe box and a very stiff upper, and the tongue is also very thick and stiff. As many others have mentioned the Specialized Boas are weird, with no pop-up release. This means the Boa dials need to be completely loosened and the wire loops removed in order get the shoes on or off, not a very convenient. Specialized does offer a wider standard fit in the top of the line S-Works Torch, as well as an even wider “wide” option, hopefully it will offer a wider option across the complete road shoe line in future.
Love this model shoes, very stiff yet comfortable, love the arches.

I am between a 9-10 Women's - Tried on the Torch 2.0 but the 3.0 fitsWAY Different. Main story - in the Touch 2.0 the 9 (40?) was way to small but the 9.5 (41) felt big so I ordered the 40.5 in the in the Torch 3.0 and my foot was COMPLETELY cramped. Thankfully I have a 41 on order but now I am scare that I will need a 41.5 ... :|
I have 2 pair white for the 100 degree summers and black for the rest of the year. The Miro adjustment is wonderful. Simple adjustment while riding, just reach down and adjust.
Good fit - stiff but comfortable. The Body Geometry footbeds fit perfect and gave me better support than I have ever had in a standard shoe.
Purchased and wore one time before Boa dial on right shoe stopped working properly. Easily tightens down, but gets jammed when trying to loosen
Had to return after only 3 uses. BOA became unraveled. Went with another style and size was to small.
Should’ve gone with my gut and returned these. The non-quick release BOA is a huge pain. Could do better for the price. Fit is fine.

I enjoy the "Body Geometry" fit in Specialized shoes. This is my second pair of road shoes from them. This version is less comfortable for me than the previous version. The top of the heel cup is uncomfortable when getting the shoe on and off. I also have to be careful not to have the boa too tight, or the shoe starts to dig into my foot just below my ankle.
The shoe fits great but no quick release on the Boa is a deal breaker. Without quick release getting in and out is a PITA. I sent the shoes back a d hope Specialized make the shoe with quick release for next year, 2024. I’d be interested to here from the decision maker why they think quick release is optional when boas have always had quick release. Seems like a step backward. Plus does anyone really need micro adjust to loosen? All you have to do is pop a quick release boa open and it loosens then snap the boa closed. Problem solved. No need to overthink it.
The shoe is difficult to get on and off because of the dials. They are difficult to turn and once you tighten them, they do not release by popping out, you have to turn the dial in the opposite direction, which is extremely difficult. They do not turn smoothly in either direction. I understand you can fine tune the fit by adjusting in either direction, but it is not worth it, if you have to struggle to get the dials to turn. Very disappointed.
Great shoe for the price. I’m a little disappointed that the BOA don’t pull out to release tension. However, the quality of the shoe and its fit overrides that frustration. A recommended purchase for sure!
I have torch 2 and 3. The outer shell comes away on the 3 after a year. The other frustrating issue is that the stock and distribution of shoe sizes is so poor
The Torch 3.0 is a very nice shoe. It's comfortable and true to size. The one thing that is awful though is the specially developed BOA dials for these shoes. They are so difficult to turn. The regular BOA's are much easier to operate. If I knew what I know now about these BOA's I probably would have bought a different shoe. If they would make this shoe with the regular BOA's it would be a perfect shoe.

I bought the white one, to my surprise they have a red color I'm top like a shade, the shoes at least mine were nothing like in the picture, they also bother me im the back of my left shoe.

Really impressed with these once the boa is replaced with the S2-S boa. The boa that is on these should never have been included. Maybe on the Torch 1.0, but not these. The boa replacement makes these a 5 star standout. Light, great fit, excellent power transfer, dual boas make for easy adjustments. Only other comment might be that until I replaced the boa's getting in and out was extremely hard. With the S2-S it is much easier once they are let out completely. At this price (currently on sale), and with new boas these are as good at it gets at this price point.

I love everything about the shoe. Fit, finish, stiffness and comfort BUT why the cheap BOA dials. They are impossible to adjust when you are riding because of how short the dials are. They are often jammed when you try to release them. I almost cannot get them off after a ride. Is there an upgrade that I can put on to fix the BOA dials? I would love these shoes more.
Purchased these last summer as a "upgrade" road cycling shoe. BOA's never worked well, switched them to my indoor trainers for the winter. This morning, my foot was trapped as the BOA wouldn't release, had to use a pair of pliers to turn which cause entire boa to pop out of molded bracket in side of shoe. Absolutely cheapest BOA construction ever, no quick release, turn to tighten, turn to release....Check them before buying, if stiff, don't get.

Dual Boa® S2-SV Snap Fit System on my Specialized Torch 3.0 Road Shoes. I am not able to loosen to shoes to get out of them easily. It is super difficult. Can I replace them with quick release Boa? I literally struggle to get out of my shoes after a ride.

Very comfortable shoe. Doing 50 mile rides. On complaint is they are a little hard to get into.
Replaced a very old pair of Specialized shoes with the Torch 3.0, and was not disappointed. Stiff, but very comfortable shoe. Great power transfer and no sore or tingly feet after long rides. Yeah, the boas are a bit fiddly, but seriously not that bad at all to get on and off. Not quite sure what other people here were expecting, but they are cycling shoes, not house slippers. 5/5 would buy again (and might).

Bought due to the brand name....mistake They fit ok, nothing great. BOA...The worst version of a BOA system ever placed on a shoe. Really harsh dials, manual tighten, ok, manual loosen...what???? and all the way otherwise you'll never get you foot out, and getting you foot in isn't great anyway. Heel cup - very shiny! other brands foolishly went with a heel retaining system, not on these. This will be the last Specialised bit of kit i purchase.

Très belle chaussures. Fines, efficaces et raffinées. Conformes au guide des tailles. Cuir un Peu rigide sur les premières sorties mais très confortables. Pied correctement maintenu. A voir sur de plus longues sorties.

Used Specialized shoes for 15 years. Always pleased until this pair. They look great but that’s about …. Tight and stiff uppers area. Dials totally horrible. Hard to tighten and harder to un tighten. Bought on sale and now I know why they were. Shame.

Yo soy fan de Bontrager, pero estos zapatos me han gustado mucho, suficientemente rígidos y el boa permite un ajuste excelente. Lástima que no sea el BOA V2. Pero la relación calidad precio, para mí, es de las mejores.

I found these shoes uncomfortable around the shoe collar particularly around the tongue of the shoe. Returned them after just trying them on

The shoe is nice. Only negative is it’s tough to slip on- need a shoehorn.
There are a lot of things I like about these shoes so far—the “wild” color scheme is fly, the sole is stiff and they’re comfortable. But the BOA dials are just unacceptable—to the point where they ruin the shoes. They don’t release like the higher-tier ones, they stick and don’t turn smoothly, and manually loosening them every time is a huge pain (literally—they’re sharp and hurt your fingers). I got these on sale (~$175) and that’s the only reason these get 3 stars instead of 2. I would not recommend these until Specialized upgrades the BOA dials. What a shame.
Grösse 44 eher zu klein mit Grösse 45 passt es perfekt. Mein Fuss benötigt eigentlich 43/44 je nach Schuh.
Recomiendo pedir un número más de la talla de zapatilla de calle. Son muy rígidas de la parte superior y el boa no abre suficiente como para que sea comodo introducir el pie. Supongo que con el tiempo esto cederá y será más fácil ponerse la zapatilla

I have had a Torch 1.0 and 2.0 before this. This one is more rigid and less comfortable, also I prefer the BOA system that opens when you pull the BOA button. Great shoe and lightweight.

They are a bit hard to take on. The size is right. I was surprised when I was able to get the on my foot. They look wery small but fits perfectly. I had problem with the right shoe. The ventilation holes was punched from under så small plastic spears hurt the foot. The spears was easely removed.
The shoes do fit wide so corn relief on my baby toe! I ordered these thanks to a review I read about the wide fit. They are gorgeous and light. The only thing I find difficult is the 2 Boa set up. One Boa would be better. Cycling stuff should be minimalist. My 2 Boas are not cooperative. Hopefully with use, they will be easier to use. It is full-on winter here so I haven't tried them outdoor yet but looking forward to it.

The insole is 266mm long and 84mm wide. it may or may not be the same design as the S-works level, but some online reviews described the S-works are wider than the previous S-works version. So if your foot is wider than 84mm, the sides of your foot will get squeezed to fit inside the shoe. maybe you like it, maybe you don't. I clicked "run small", but I couldn't deselect it, but if I could, I would. It doesn't run small, since there is no mention of how wide the shoe is in the description.

Purchased these about 5 months ago. I wouldn’t change a thing about them they’re comfortable, responsive, and this is my first experience with The Body Geometry System and they’ve improved my longer rides considerably.
