S-Works Evade

Até pouco tempo atras tive o Evade (sem o II) que eu rachei todo devido a uma queda. Assim como o colega ali, estou bem hoje devido a qualidade do equipamento. Sempre me preocupei com esse fator (segurança) e não me arrependo de ter pago um valor relativamente alto, pois minha saúde vale muito mais. Sobre o design e qualidade do produto, dispensa comentários. Recomendo a qualquer um, qualidade excelente.

Tenho vários capacetes S-WORKS, quero comprar esse acima, tamanho M, me avise quando aparecer ok

Caros ciclistas, se hoje estou vivo aqui vos escrevendo é por causa desse capacete. Sofri uma queda e bati minha cabeça com muita força com aquela chicotada no asfalto. Quem viu a queda, me deu por morto devido à alta energia do acidente. Levantei-me um pouco tonto da queda, mas sem problema algum devido à maxima proteção que este capacete me deu. Estou aqui no site já encomendando outro porque sei que ele é extremamente seguro! Boas pedaladas!

Color looks insane. Love it. Good fit for, yet it leaves marks on my head. So it's whether loose and no marks or keep red marks on a forehead. And construction of straps do not have any limiter, so during cycling these might hit you couple times :)

Adoro esse modelo. Usei muito ele, tanto no calor como no frio extremo. Penso que poderia ser um pouco mais ventilado, mas apesar disso é confortável em dias mais quentes. Ele encaixa-se muito bem na cabeça e é super estável em altas velocidades. Também seu formato externo é elegante e discreto. Absorve muito bem o suor da testa. Fica compacto na cabeça. Aprovadíssimo!

O melhor capacete que já tive na vida , além de lindo ele é muito leve , aerodinâmico e com muita tecnologia , a única coisa é que pelo preço a specialized deveria já colocar o sensor ANGi como parte da tecnologia , não vendido separadamente . Se quiser mudar de ideia e me mandar um não vou reclamar .

Looks 10/10, de helm ziet er fantastisch en snel uit. De pasvorm is ook goed. De ventilatie is voor een aero helm best goed. Een nadeel voor mij is dat het steunpunt van de helm dat tegen het voorhoofd komt na 2u begint te irriteren en jeuken. Dit heb ik niet bij mijn andere helmen.

A cola que vem no sistema MIPS é de péssima qualidade, solta com muita facilidade (e não me refiro ao sistema em sua finalidade, que tem de se deslocar facilmente com um impacto, me direciono à qualidade do produto mesmo). Com apenas dois meses de uso, o capacete apresentou esse vício. Acionei a garantia, estou no aguardo de informações.

Super helm, flinke klapper gemaakt waardoor de helm een goede bescherming bood. Echter ik had nergens last van en kon door. Dat verwacht ik van een goede helm en dat heeft hij zeker bewezen. Meteen een nieuwe besteld met korting, door de Replacement service die Specialized aanbied. De prijs is stevig, maar de helm doet zijn werk goed, en een schedelbasisfractuur is ook vervelend en kost veel meer.

tengo el evade 1 y me compre el 2, me encanta , por el sistema MIPS el ANGI y la forma aerodinamica lo hace muy pro , de hecho me gusta mas que el evade 3

Um capacete aero puro sangue que bate de frente em questão de peso e conforto com capacetes tradicionais – sem esquecer da tecnologia MIPS. Muito leve, encaixe perfeito na cabeça, e recebe as hastes do óculos com conforte e segurança. O design em volta da aerodinâmica é afiado, mas que não comprometeu em nada o controle de temperatura – me manteve com a cabeça fresca mesmo nas montanhas quentes e úmidas do Rio. Traz uma vantagem sobre todos os outros capacetes: você vai sair bem em todas as fotos com ele! ;)

Comfortable, well ventilated and good looking. The clip is very cool. My hands haven't figured out how to open it quickly but they'll get there.

Solo puedo hablar bien de ellos. Un primer accidente un coche me llevó por delante y todo el golpe fué en la cabeza y se deformó y salí sólo con una costilla rota. Una segunda vez con otro casco igual hice un afilador a 50kms/h y golpee contra una valla con la cabeza y el casco se destrozó en la parte anterior y me salvó de una fractura segura de cráneo.

Best helmet on the market in my opinion!

I tested the Evade against the Prevail Vent 2 for 3 weeks in August in PA. Most days temps were near 90° Fahrenheit or above. The Evade was without doubt the cooler helmet and did a much better job of channeling the sweat away from the front of my face. It was an easy decision to make. I also love the maroon color. Beautiful helmet, and aero to boot. It is the only helmet I use now.

I've worn many a helmet brand over the years including Bell, Giro (many of these), Lazer and Rudy Project. None of these can compare to the fit and comfort of Specialized, Evade and Prevail. They run a bit larger so a Medium not only fits comfortably, but still slides over a skull cap in the colder weather...no need for an oversized helmet any longer. I love the magnetic buckle on the chinstrap of this model Evade and not sure it carried over to the newer version just released. I've seen complaints about the magnetic buckle, but for me, it's absolutely the way to go and that is why I now have two. Enjoy!

Really enjoying this Evade. We have the original Evade. It too is a great helmet. But the SW Evade II provides superior ventilation and a fit like no other helmet I've ridden. Even my SW Prevail II. This Evade has become my preferred Mountain Bike Race Helmet. Thank you for being the Brand driving innovation.

El mejor casco que he usado, se siente fresco así tengas el sol encima. Muy cómodo, livianos, totalmente aerodinámico y los terminados de lujo. 100% recomendado.

I love this helmet! It's very comfortable, aerodynamic, and stays cool on hot days. It saved my life once and this is my replacement. I love the color and feel confident in the safety.

Love the style and comfort. At first I was a little skeptical of what the price would get me that a less expensive alternative would not. I like the clipping system, the tightening options and the breathability of it. It's very sleek and lightweight. My only regret is not using a the introductory discount code towards the purchase when I first subscribed via email :)

Cómodo y con excelente ajuste valió la pena.

Size is different from previous Evade II non-angi. Advise to choose a size larger. Overall, the quality is great.

Fits great and looks great too. Too cool out to speak on its ability to cool the ol' brain pan but it's a great helmet.

I bought this from Specialized Ireland, the buckle is real simple to clip on, even with gloves, Its light and comfortable and less vents than the evade, so I use it a bit more on cooler days. It's a big improvement on the previous one back in 2014, as that was a bit uncomfortable at the rear of the head, this is perfect in every way.

Looks good and lightweight but tips down at the front won't buy again..!!

I have the Evade for 2 1/2 years and I am more than happy with it. Very good ventilation, good strap adjustment, nice magnetic buckle and light. Also the tranquillity of having ANGI is a real must. So, when the time comes for a new helmet... it will be another Evade!

Had an unfortunate high speed very hard crash on my Roubaix, this helmet took a full impact and was broken and did its job. No head injury as compared to the left side of my body, hips and shoulder. It vents exceptionally well, with the closed top design and vent channels, with better safety and functionality. I like the strap closure. Absolutely great looking; state of the art. 5 star design.

I was having issues with my previous helmets. My sunglasses would hit the strap or plastic part for the rear retention. This helmet sits a bit higher and there is no interference from my glasses. I typically get headaches after about 2-2.5 hours but not now.

I’ve had this helmet for over a year now and just cannot figure out how to keep the strap tight. Good looking helmet, good fit with great ventilation but the strap is the worst I’ve ever used. Can not recommend.

It's nice, light and 'fast' (I guess). There are some issues as others have pointed out. For a top tier helmet or top end price tag of anything you sorta expect the best features and I'm not one to usually complain but this has 2 flaws. 1 being the straps, they are thin and flexible which means when you get speed over 25mph the straps bend and move around in the wind and fold over on your face, sounds minor until you experience it and it becomes a distraction on a serious descent. Second is the sweat management like people also mentioned. I just don't think it's designed with all of the safety features, aero qualities and weight and also something to try to channel the sweat away from your face/eyes. Again this is more of a distraction at the wrong times than anything else which is what makes me feel less confident and might make you take your hands off the bars at the wrong moment to wipe your face.

Super light and confortable

My front tire exploded coming down a hill at 30mph. I fell and broke my arm and currently have road burn all throughout the left side of my body. This S-Works Evade did its job. I had no concussion and walked away from the fall. The helmet is cracked and scratched badly but my head is fine. Thank you Specialized!

I love the way this helmet fits. Ventilation is adequate on the flats at speed, not so much in the hills. I also like the sun protection. I get a lot of sweat in the brow pad and it always seems to come running down my face and into my eyes on fast descents. Not ideal. I love the peace of mind on Angi. The app is a little buggy and it doesn't always pair right away. But it's definitely a net positive and something I don't like to ride without now.

I wanted a modern-look helmet that fit in with the grey/teal color scheme of my 2020 Roubaix Pro. This was perfect! Very light and sits comfortably. Also added Torch 3.0 road shoes in grey to the kit. I'm set!

I have heard of some issues regarding the strap but this was not an issue for me. I really like the helmet and it's fits well. Super stylish and protective. Angi is a nice feature to have too. Definitively recommend

(Second review, can't find the first to amend) This is a great helmet, in my first review I gave it 5 stars but I had only just received it and wrote the review before I rode. The only reason I'm changing it to 4 stars is because the strap is ridiculously long, and too slippery to hold in place. I hate the strap. It has been an incredible nuisance. It's not like I have a short face, either. I have to pull the strap as far as it can possibly go, and even then it doesn't hold, it slides out as I ride. I've had to take my scissors and sewing kit and doctor this strap. For the price of this helmet I would think this should not be necessary. I do like the magnetic closure, but that is the ONLY thing I like about this strap. Other than that, I love this helmet.

This is my 6th Specialized helmet and the best yet. I have bought others but go back time and time again for the fit and quality. The helmet is definitely noticeable with aero advantage. It is light and fits great. No problem with the chin strap and magnetic buckle is a great to have. Really pleased with the helmet as nervous about cost. Never look back. I run hot and the helmet appears light enough and well ventilated enough for me. I haven't yet tried it in full summer conditions

I'm amazed at how comfortable this helmet is and how well-ventilated it is as well. I like the TT look too. I had previously bought the Torch 3.0 in grey/slate. Now I'm Specialized head-to-toe!
