My experience matches many of the lower reviews. I’ve had specialized tires that lasted years and literally worn through before they flatted or wore out. These tires have less than 6mo of riding and the back tire won’t even hold air. Put a fresh bottle of sealant in it last week and it’s already going flat over night. I’ve recommended specialized tires in the past but I’d only suggest this tire if it was to a competitor in a race. Save your money and buy something else.

    Trash, pure trash.

If you want to have multiple flats, knock yourself out and buy these tires. I am working on roughly five months since buying them locally, and flat number six took place today. Frustrating!

I ride 7-8000 miles annually and have limited mobility in my left hand. So changing a flat is nearly impossible and or not happening. When I look to purchase tires I want something that can with stand a century ride but also be able to roll fast for those 18+ miles per hour group ride. I also want a tire that can roll over just about anything including gravel. I have had bad luck with tubed tires as I struggle to change them fast. Tubeless tires have saved me from calling for rides to bike shops to get the tire changed. I have ridden other tubeless tires and had mixed success. When I read about these tires I knew I wanted to try them. I would not hesitate to purchase another set, I might try the 32mm tires but I truly love my 35mm tires and am extremely happy.

    Good Tire

These tire loose air faster than any tubeless tire I’ve even had and I’ve been tubeless for 14 years. They offer a very smooth and comfortable ride though but I will go back to my old reliable Hutchinsons

Close to 500 miles, and punctured by a twig

I've been getting back into riding, and been doing 10 miles a day, 4 days a week, all on paved roads. Had this tire (new bike) for a little under 5 months. Probably ridden close to 500 miles at this point, and got my first puncture. Looked like a small sliver of wood or something. Looked like a stick fragment or a bit of a twig. Kind of ticked that it got punctured that quickly, as i've had tires before that lasted years without punctures under similar conditions

    Flats galore

The most flats I have ever experienced. I get a flat about every 3rd ride. Smooth, clean good roads and never had a flat with other tires. This is out of a cycling park with hundreds of riders every day. My riding buds are not having flats but I have experienced over 15 flats in the past 4 months. Minor punctures and slow leaks. Can't seem to withstand anything so I do not agree with the puncture protection.

    Won’t hold air tubeless…

These tires came on my Roubaix Comp. I really liked them until I tried to go tubeless. They just won’t hold air at all. For this spec and price, I find that unacceptable. I’ll leave tubes in them for a bit and then replace them with a different tire. I guess I expected the same quality as the Pathfinder Pro.

    OK so far

These tires have a very comfy ride but they do lose air faster than most tubeless I've used in the past. If these stay durable I will keep using them but mounting these the first time was hard, very tight.

    500 miles, 2 punctures

I've had two punctures, both on the running surface of the tire. One was just a sharp bit of mica. I don't know what caused the other puncture. Just biking on paved roads around town. If these are $80 tires with Specialized's best puncture protection, where do I go from here?

    The best road tires ever.

Great tubeless tires that hold air well (with Stan's). Like all tubeless bike tires they lose a small amount of air each day. These wear extremely well and hold exceptionally in the hairpins. I have about 80,000' of climbing on the 32mm's that came on my Roubaix pro sl8 and even the rear tire has some room left on the wear indicators. I'll not be changing to any other model in the foreseeable future.

Worst tire I have ever used.

I have been riding these since getting my SL8 at the beginning of Sept 2023. I ride tubeless and have been using either 55 or 60 PSI in them. I swear if I sneeze these will get a puncture. I have never had this with any other tire. Have been on the same roads for decades. Normally 3-4 flats a year in 6000k miles. The one on the back of my bike now has 6-8 dyna plugs in it and has 730 miles. I have had to be picked up from a family member 4 times this summer because these got a small hole that will not seal and needed to be replace. Even at 730 miles the tire that gave up the ghost today is the longest I have gotten out of 6 of these. I am so frustrated I don't see me ever buying another Specialized tire again. I will stick to other brands going forward.

Do not hold the pressure at all, not recommend

Big disappointment. They were on my Roubaix straight from the factory and didn't hold pressure. By the next day they were almost empty. Soapy water applied to the side of the mantle revealed a number of miniature holes. They replaced them as part of the complaint, but it only improved a little. They still don't hold pressure well, I inflate every 2-3 days. Never again, I do not recommend. Although the tube have great driving characteristics but do not hold the pressure at all.

Excellent for durability and tubeless performance

I want an extremely durable tire for use on very rough paved roads. Finding a durable, tubeless tire that is easy to change on the road is difficult. These have worked perfectly. My 28C rear tire lasted 4,000 miles on very rough patched and chip-seal pavement and occasional gravel. The front is still going strong after 7,000 miles and seems it will last at least several thousand more miles. Easy to mount with minor tire-iron use and with a regular floor pump, very durable - one year, two rear tires (I ride 10,000 miles/year) and no flats or even minor slow-leak punctures (using Stans regular sealant). I am using Shimano RS500 (Ultegra) wheels designed for tubeless (no tape needed, no spoke holes in the rim). I am 185lb and ride these on the road at 60lb front and 70lb rear with no problems whatsoever.

Fun tires that don’t hold air perfectly

35 mm is a pretty good fat slick tire. Light, supple, and puncture resistant. I ride these on a crux and they maintain the bike’s handling better than a smaller tire would. Unfortunately one of my tires doesn’t hold air for more than a few hours. Not the fastest rolling but it is cruises along well for a big tire.

So far, a great endurance tire

I've had the 32C Mondo on my new 2024 S-Works Roubaix SL8 custom build on Zipp 303 Firecrest wheels (25mm internal width) since it was built at the beginning of this year (2024). So far, they've been great on these tubeless, hookless wheels. I have several hundred miles on them riding on paves roads, paved trails (sometimes in rough shape), and some unexpected coarse gravel. No problems, no punctures, and they feel great with only about 60psi of pressure in them (I'm 6'3" and about 99kg). The wheels and tires also hold pressure very well. So far I've been using Stan's Race Sealant, but that will likely change once I have to put new tires on. Unless I have problems with them this summer, these will likely become my standard tire for this bike.

    Poor tubeless performance

The tubeless performance is horrible. I've tried: fresh tape, different brands of tape, fresh sealant, different brands of sealant, new valves and have used them on 2 different sets of tubeless rims but no matter what they leak a significant amount of air. They lose roughly 20 psi a day and are virtually flat after 3 days. I honestly really wanted to love this tire. They are great on the road and gravel, no punctures and they're wearing well after 1000km but they will not hold air. I've been running tubeless for 4 years using tires from Continental, Vittoria and Giant and I've never had an issue with tires losing so much air daily.

    Great Tire

Bought these because good punctures score to rolling resistance on Bicycle Rolling Resistance. Set up was pretty easy, needed one lever but that gave me some confidence. Pumped up with a hand up and held air perfectly through the first ride. Can’t wait to be on these for long rides all summer.

Great at first then horrible tubeless performance

At the 800 miles mark, these are losing air like crazy through the porous sidewalls, even with lots of fresh sealant. Never experienced this with Conti 5000 or Schwalbe Pro One. It's horrendous, as I need to reinflate tires every ride... after four days they are at 18 psi from 70psi. Totally hate them as a result, and since thread has plenty of life I feel badly throwing them away. Avoid. Pros: long wear, no flats, good grip on dry and wet, good dampening. Cons: loses 20psi a day, not the fastest or lightest.

    Fast yet surprisingly grippy

Bought the 700×28c version for use on a set of DT Swiss GRC 1600. Fitting them with Schwalbe Aerothan tubes was a nightmare but well worth it. Just as described on the packaging they measure 30 mm on rims with ~24 mm inner width. That's excellent because the GRC 1600 measure 32 mm at the widest point and that should give me those all important Aero Gains™. What really impresses me with these tires is the inexplicable mix of being really fast on smooth surfaces all while offering solid cornering grip in the wet and just overall good grip on gravel and even snowy, icy gravel. They have no business being this grippy with this little tread. I have ridden about 1.000 km on these tires and wear is negligible so far.

    S-Works Mondo Tire Experience

Purchased for off season base miles and exploring new routes, these roll great and feel burly enough for the occasional gravel sections or rough roads. The Mondo’s have also setup tubeless very easy with a floor pump and have barely lost pressure when I check before each ride. Which most road or gravel tubeless tires I’ve used are flat after a few days of sitting. I’d highly recommend these.

Good on road, but weak sidewalls for gravel

Got these in 35mm as an allroad tire. Smooth and comfy on the road. Reasonable on dirt and mild to moderate gravel, though maybe a bit sketchy in loose stuff. My set has weak sidewalls though. After one ride on gravel, I was having sealant seepage from the sidewalls. On slightly chunkier gravel, I got a through-sidewall puncture that was not sealable. Now I've got one tire with like 200 miles on it and one that needs to be tossed. Not sure I'll be buying a replacement.

Bought for a winter tire but may ride them year round!

I picked up a set for fall/winter riding as my usual weekend route is a puncture nightmare and I wanted something tougher. So far the Mondos have been great! Reasonably quick for an endurance tire, fantastic in the wet, and no punctures! I’ve ridden these in rain and mist a few times now and the grip on wet streets is really impressive. I’m running these on a set of Roval C38s and they were very easy to mount. For real world rising these are an excellent choice and, although the rolling resistance is a bit higher than my usual hoops it’s not bad at all.

My Take on the Specialized S-Works Mondo 2Bliss Tire

Alright, so here's the deal. I switched to the Specialized S-Works Mondo 2Bliss tires after having a rough time with the Continental 5000's in Dallas. I mean, who likes getting flats all the time, right? Now, onto these Mondo 2Bliss bad boys. Man, Specialized really knocked it out of the park with these. They're not just some fancy tire with a cool name. These things are built to last! Whether I'm just cruising around town or pushing it on the weekends, these tires have my back. And let's talk about that grip - rain or shine, these tires stick to the road like glue. No more slipping and sliding for me. But the real MVP feature? That T2/T5 compound. I've had my fair share of punctures in the past, but these tires are like a fortress against those pesky sharp objects. It's like Specialized knew my struggles with the Continental 5000's and said, "We got you!"

    Poor tubeless performance

There's no doubt the tyre is smooth and fast rolling but the tubeless performance is poor. I have tried these tyres on two different wheelsets, some Roval C38 and also some DT Swiss HEC 1400s and on both they lose 5psi or so overnight when inflated to 58-60psi. I have tried different valves and also replaced the factory fitted rim tape but the result is the same. I have noticed when washing the bike that tiny soap bubbles form on the sidewalls and air seems to possibly be leaking for there. I have tried 4 tyres and they are all the same. I won't be buying them again once these wear out.

    Quick and reliable.

The tires seem quite fast, but the puncture resistance really puts these tires over the top for me. I managed a couple small slices on a recent ride and the casing held despite the depth of the cuts. Not bad for a tire that still performs well.

    Great until it wasn’t….

S-works Mondo 2bliss tires were awesome - easy mounting, no flats or wear issues for about 500 miles, until the sidewall / tread delaminated and I couldn’t repair on the road. Mid ride sealant starting spraying everywhere and tire would not hold air. Glad the issue didn’t cause a catastrophic failure at speed. Maybe a defect, but for the price, should there really be quality issue like that. Super frustrating.
