Bennies Platform Pedals

I recently purchased these pedals to put on my road bike. I'm not there yet for a clip-on pedals. However these pedals have more surface contact with your shoe and gave me the ability to power through Hills. Also at the end of my first ride I noticed the middle of my feet were not sore as the old pedals I had on the bike were much skinnier. I highly recommend these pedals I just hope my shoes don't get shredded over time because these things really grip!

These pedals hold your feet in place. After several rides on rough trails my feet have not slipped.

Great pedal, quite aggressive pegs. But grip is immense.

Hard to be objective when reviewing the only good quality bike I over owned. (Coming form a 2012 Marine Hard tail) This bike is just amazing, it was easy to put together, easy to set-up the suspensions slack and everything worked out the box. Clearly the only limiting factor to go faster is myself and I love it as I can focus on improving my skills instead of holding on my hard tail for dear life! The S6 size is a handful, as much as I appreciate the stability I have to recognize that it comes at the price of agility.

At this price range, I couldn't find any pedals that offered comparable materials, build quality, and performance. Excellent cost/benefit

Love Bennies platform Pedals. My foot is always snugged to the pedals and it feels comfortable! My feet has not slipped off the pedals so far!!

Great grip n lightweight

These pedals were easy to install and they are aggressive. They made me feel a lot more anchored onto my bike.

These petals get a work out every time I bring my E bike into the woods. Every time the panels take a beating, but they can take it, Metal is a lot better than plastic and they hold your feet steady, no slipping off the pedals. I definitely would buy again, and they look very sharp. Get compliments all the time.

These pedals not only look great on my raspberry Status 140, they have incredible grip regardless of the shoes I’ve worn (Nike SB canvas flat soles and Nike Pegasus Trail 3 Goretex). They’ll definitely do some damage though so be careful! I was walking the bike backwards into the shade and my leg brushed against the pedal…scraped me up pretty good! Happy to say though that was my only injury on the trail that day!

The Bennies flat pedals have met my expectations. I switched from cliped in pedals and they work great.

These pedals are great, very grippy. I like the control they give you on rougher terrain.

I have Nukeproof pedals on my other bike but I think these are just as good if not better for less money. Just as grippy which is the most important thing for me. They have adjustable pins but they were great right out of the box. I would buy these again without question.

Very “grippy” as good as it gets imho

Loved these pedals as an upgrade to the stock pedals that came on my bike. Grip is fantastic as others have mentioned. Build quality also felt phenomenal. After about a year the pedals started to click and creak. It was sporadic at first but is now constant. The mechanic at my Specialized dealer said he has a pair of these too and the also started clicking but, assured me they are safe to ride on albeit annoying. I would not recommend these since the clicking is so loud and obnoxious. There had been another review here that mentioned the same but, looks like it was taken down somehow.

My feet stay where they’re suppose to! What’s more to say about pedals! Buying a pair for my other bike, too!

My feet feel glued to the bike on these and they have a nice wide surface area for my size 12 foot.

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried these pedals after the ones I wanted were out of stock and found that they are actually grippier than the One Up and Race Face pedals I have been using. They look great and work great and I liked them so much that I bought a second pair.

This product offers Plenty of platform and grip for the beginner off-road cyclist. Good quality for the price.

When my shoes were wet, my feet were slipping off the pedals of my bike so I got these pedals and some shoes. I definately have better grip now. I think they work too good. The only problem I have is that if I do not place my foot in the right spot it is difficult to adjust the position, but I am getting better at it. These are high quality and I am glad I bought them.

Best pedal out there

Quantum leap in quality and grip versus the plain plastic pedals that came with my bike. No slipping and sliding on the pedals at any time.

I purchased these pedals with my new stumpjumper. From a performance stand point they work great. I haven't slipped a pedal when riding techy trails or bunny hopping. Although, you could probably get a composite pedal with the same performance for a bit cheaper.

Fahre die Pedale seit 2013 und habe sie an zwei Rädern im Einsatz, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis finde ich klasse. Am Tourenrad habe ich ältere Bennies, bei denen ich auf eine Seite Griptape gemacht habe, so kann ich auch mit Alltagsschuhen fahren. Klar, in höheren Preisklassen gibt es Pedale, mit Titan-Achsen und speziell gefrästen Pedalkörpern, deren Pins von unten verschraubt sind. Die Bennies haben von oben eingeschraubte Madenschrauben, die schwer herauszubekommen sind, wenn sie mal an 'nem Stein vergnaddelt wurden. Aber die Größe und die Form finde ich auch auf längeren Strecken mit Schuhgröße 48 sehr bequem und nicht zu klobig. Da hatte ich mit teureren Pedalen schon Probleme. Es ist auch kein störendes Lagergehäuse im Weg und es ist genug Freiraum, dass Schlamm und Dreck durchs Pedal fallen.

These MTB pedals have excellent gripping studs, and there is zero slipping. Excellent design, rugged materials.

Great grip. Riding in the southwest we have a lot of terrain that changes constantly and making sure your feet stay in place in huge. These pedals are the best

GREAT pedal! Obviously the stock pedal leaves a bit to be desired but I fought it out until.....I was going down hill, down a literal mountain on a hardtail Specialized and started to fishtail. Not proud but at least I was able to regain control...BUT. that was have been a MUCH less adrenaline moment had my foot not slipped off the pedal. Next day, new pedal, no more issue. Cant say enough about how much I like this pedal! I guess its the small things in life! LOL

I house them for enduro and they are amazing

I've had these pedals since 2012 on 3 bikes (same pair), they look really beat up but still work perfectly. I have been through 2 sets of other brands (DMR, Crank Bros) in that time and always just end up putting these back on when the newer ones die. They still spin like new after 4 continents and every type of weather imaginable, never serviced or looked after

Love the grip, wet or muddy, they'll hold you for sure

Using these on my new Specialized Vado Turbo 4.0 ebike. They look good and the nubs help to keep my feet in place. Very happy with this equipment.

I got these on a bike trip because one of my previous pedals failed. I pick these up on a whim to keep me riding for the rest of the trip. Honesty that have out performed my expectations for the price point. I ride mostly on the front range in CO, so rock strikes happen. These have taken a beating and are still going strong

I have these on all of my Mountain bikes. They are very sturdy and once your shoe is planted, it's not going to move until you want it to!
