Useless

This does not come with any mounting hardware… completely useless .. why would specialized make a product specific accessory if it doesn’t even fit on their proprietary rack.

No mounting hardware

This is designed to fit onto the globe front rack. Neither come with hardware for installation. It seems you also need a MIK adapter plate even though the rack is MIK. This makes no sense. Two items designed to work together need a separately sold adapter plate to actually work. Awful.

No instructions.

I have done a quick google search on installation instructions, so far nothing useful (I'm sure I will find something eventually). I'm not sure why Specialized provides ZERO instructions on what to buy or how to put it together. So far - I have the rack, the basket, AND the MIK adapter, which I had to buy separately. Now I just need to spend a couple of hours searching through youtube videos to figure out how to put if together, or if I have to buy yet another component.

Exactly what it looks like

Great basket - holds about what’s expected (I can hold my lunch pail and water bottle, or a large jackets/gloves and small stuff like glasses). Definitely can’t fit a backpack imo. Also, definitely requires the mk2 adaptor! Don’t forget that!!

Not usable without MIK adapter

Not usable without the MIK adapter, which is not clear to me from the description. It was frustrating to have to order that and pay for shipping all over again. When paired, the washers supplied with the adapter don’t fit into the channels molded into the basket. So while it works ok without the washers, the product pairing seems poorly executed. Aside from that, it works fine for what it is.

Does What You Buy It For!

Useful tool to carry items too large for your hands or usual storage devices. So simple, sturdy, user-friendly, and inexpensive! Especially with the MIK Click system it’s easy on or off in a flash as you wish. Wish I’d bought it sooner… 😄

Not usable without the adapter

The basket seems fine, but it's not usable unless you purchase the separate MIK adapter plate (which now seems to be out of stock!) You should sell them together - or at least make it more clear on the site that this ONLY works with the adapter. "Paired with the MIK adapter plate, it easily attaches to the rear MIK-compatible racks" is vague at best. Now I have a useless basket and can't order the required adapter.

Cool front bucket

I like the basket but the pre made holes do not line up with the racks depicted in the exciting action shots. The MIK adapter is required to install.
