With seven wins at Paris-Roubaix, our Roubaix has proven that Smoother is Faster. Until this moment, however, smooth has admittedly come with some compromises. But not anymore. The all-new Roubaix Expert now delivers compliance without compromise by introducing a radical new Future Shock 1.5 that gives you more control on rough roads, a new Pavé seatpost that creates our most balanced Roubaix to date, aerodynamics that equal the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered™ frame that’s shed some serious weight. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but don’t call it a comfort bike, because performance was behind every engineering decision we made. This is the new Roubaix.

This Roubaix Sport provides a tremendous value, but like the frame itself, this value doesn’t come with any compromises. We spec’d it with Shimano’s 105 11-speed groupset for its crisp shifts and powerful hydraulic disc brakes, as well as smooth and sturdy DT R470 Disc wheels, the all-new S-Works Pavé seatpost, 28mm Turbo Pro tires, and our fan-favorite Power Sport saddle.

  • The new frame delivers compliance without compromise via the perfect balance of aerodynamics, light overall weight via a FACT 10r carbon construction, compliance, and Rider-First Engineering. With tube shapes that were born in our FreeFoil Shape Library and validated in the Win Tunnel, the new Roubaix is more aero than the Tarmac SL6. Meanwhile, to ensure the weight and ride quality, we turned to a Rider-First Engineered™ design to deliver optimal stiffness and compliance across all sizes, from 44 to 64cm. Of course, the frame has shed some serious weight in the process. And to prep you for your own Hell of the North, we’ve made room for 33mm tires.

  • To go along with the new frame, we’ve also developed a totally-new S-Works Pavé seatpost. Not only is it the first compliant seatpost that’s also aerodynamic, it does so without any additional weight or finicky contraptions. Starting with the same D-shape design found on the Tarmac, we took its compliance a step further by building additional flex into the upper and developing a new drop-clamp design in the frame. This provides plenty of compliance, while staying perfectly balanced with the front-end, so you get a smooth, balanced ride no matter how rough the road.

  • With 20mm of rough-road-taming travel, the Future Shock 1.5 not only delivers a smoother, more comfortable ride, but it also reduces fatigue and increases speed over harsh terrain. The new Smooth Boot, meanwhile, enhances the aesthetics to bring a clean transition from the head tube to the stem

I Love this Bike too!

I purchased this bike back in December of 2023 and have ridden it over 3,000 miles. It's my introduction into road biking and I picked it because of it's comfort with the road shock system in the stem. It's real comfortable and I feel confident. It feels like a big rig riding down the road with my 30mm tires. I'm not afraid of potholes unless they're the size of craters. Upgrades I have done are putting on FFWD Ryot44 wheels with DT Swiss hubs, shimano 105 52/36 crankset, and Continental 5000 wheels. I'm 53 years old and I have taken this bike on rides up to 72 miles with no complaints and I have gotten this bike as fast as 32.5mph on the flats, 39.7mph down the bridge we have in Miami. One time I rode an average of 27.5 mph for 6 minutes on this bike with guys all on road race bikes with digital shifting. So this bike can go fast if you are strong enough to make it go fast. Next upgrade is to switch out the crankset for 53 or 54 for more speed.

Awesome Bike

I bought this bike in August 2024 and have logged several hundred miles. It’s fantastic and super comfortable. The seat and cockpit design are so well thought out. I do wish I had the latest FutureShock 3.1 so I have the option of locking it out. But otherwise it’s perfect and extremely reliable.

Comfort ride.

Had lodged about 100 miles with my new Robaix Sport. Excellent comfortable long rides; got through gravels effortlessly. I had issue switching to high gear on my chainring; would not switch.

Shock absorbers mean I don't need to get acupuncture anymore!

I used to ride on a Giant Carbon Fiber and my hands would fall asleep for extended periods of time. Went for acupuncture and it only helped a little. On this bike, none of those problems exist. A comfortable ride, almost "Steel" like for a Carbon Fibre bike. Gearing could be a bit bigger, but very happy with. Also, the Disc Brakes are such an improvement.

Great bike - terrible paint job

This is a great bike. I love riding it every single day. However, the gray smoke color model (the one I bought) drags it down a star. The paint job looks terrible. I have learned that this is an “intentional” look but it looks very sloppy and pretty half-assed to be honest. I love the bike, but the paint job looks like whoever did it truly don’t care or pay attention to what they were doing. Picture a kindergartener’s attempt at consistency. That’s this.

Awesome aside from paint job

Really loved the feel of this bike and everything about it. Only gripe I had was the grey color was only a clear coat or something so all the patchy carbon fiber sheets showed. Wish I woulda known before I dropped the money on it. For 3500 I couldn’t get over it so returned it. Hopefully the have better colors next year or something. Or actually paint it smoke/grey instead of just clear coating over the carbon fiber.

Awesome Ride

This is the first bicycle I’ve bought that was a perfect fit off the shelf, no adjustments required. It glides over the cracked pavement and my teeth don’t rattle anymore.

I'm loving this bike!

I've only had the Roubaix Sport for just over a month but I've done everything from a 10 mile stroll to a 82 mile organized ride. It's incredible. The frame soaks up the road and the Future Shock makes it even better. The 105 group set shifts crisp and quick. And man does does it look good! I'm so glad I picked mine up.

New bike - great ride

Upgraded from my entry level Allez to the Roubaix Sport and it is fantastic so far after my first ride. I have arthritic wrists and the bumps used to send shock waves of pain up my arm if I wasn't watching. The Roubiax is what it's name implies - a bike built for the road bumps and cobbles. Smooth and silky!

Roubaix Sport 2020

I love my Roubaix. Da agree that changing the Crank to a 105 was a major impreovement. Often times it seems the bike reacts and handles so well that it preempts my thought process.

Rides Great

I love my new Roubaix Sport. It rides like a dream. The color I got, however, does seem to not cover all of the carbon layering. I can see it. Not sure if this was intentional or an oversight.

Great bike for me

The best thing they did was upgrade the crank and bottom bracket. Unfortunately I had to make that upgrade myself but with it, the bike is a perfect fit for me.

105 crank

Glad to see the 105 crankset on this bike. My 2021 had the Praxis crank & BB & it was straight garbage. No issues after swapping to the 105 set.
