Great Bike

Es mi primer bicicleta de la marca y estoy muy satisfecho con la compra. Por el precio la calidad de los materiales se nota. Me gusta mucho rodar con esta bici. La recomiendo!!

My opinion on this bike is it is the best bike i have ever used. The bike is very good for trails. One time i was riding this bike on a really muddy trail, the mud and water was so high my feet were touching the water when they were on the pedals and the bike still rode very well. One thing i do not like about this bike is the gears do not go as high as a road bike. Meaning you have to pedal a lot faster to go the speed you desire to go. To fix that problem you only have to buy front gears, and the shifter for the gears.

La bicicleta es de muy buena calidad, durabilidad, en competencia se ha portado muy bien.

Llevo 7 meses con esta bici y definitivamente su mejor lugar para disfrutar de sus capacidades en las barrancas y veredas sinuosas. No es la mas ligera pero en planos falsos y pendientes es fácil de llevar. Sus frenos son poderosos y seguros y no batallas con armarla cada vez que viajas con ella.

Muy buena compra, los materiales son de buena calidad y se ve increíble en vivo.

Cumple acorde con su precio, los manilmares de mala calidad se van quedando sin caucho con verlos. El grupo tiene una relación de 9 cambios que en mi caso es más que suficiente para donde monto. Amarilla es super.

Llevo tan solo 2 días con mi RH comp y puedo decir que es una bici espectacular, diseño,color,prestaciones, todo es genial. Que gran marca es Specialized!! Congrats. Al atención el el centro de experiencia de Pinares es increible.

This bike does not have a tapered head tube or thru axle, which is not ideal for trail riding. The short travel fork works well for cross country and gravel riding but again, not ideal for trail riding. I do appreciate the internal routing availability for a dropper post. I would not recommend to someone who is serious about trail riding and wants upgradability. that being said the short travel and good drivetrain make it decent for beginners who want a bike for cross country or light trail use.

I'm loving this bike, only a couple of rides in but all of them have been superb. Moving from 26" to 29" has been a new experience, totally recommended. Gravel roads are so easy to manage. Happy riding :)

Got to participate my first bike race and I can say the Rockhopper Comp 29 made it easier for me to steer and pedal at high performance! I’ve taken it on dirt, rocky, muddy and hard pavement trails. This bike is great for those who are getting into bike or are professionals. I love it!!

I bought my Rockhopper Comp 29 (yellow) circa Spring 2022. Haven't put as many miles on it as I had hoped but I am still trying. I love it and it rides perfect and looks great. Website lists it for $950. I bought from a local dealer (James Bros Bikes) in Auburn Alabama and I believe it was same price. I added a helmet from the shop so my total was more.

I love the bike it is good for everything from trails to pavement I would suggest it

Great all r oi und bike but whilst doing wheelies and you let it down imence stress goes through the fame and not the forks as the forks don't compress, good for up to 6ft jumps and small skatepark jumps

Love the bike so far! Great ergonomics for my body, stops on a dime and the gear range is excellent. I got the red and like the other reviews (I read after) it’s definitely not red way more burnt orange. All in all I love it but I’d get black instead.

Moving from a 27.5" Jamis Trail X A1, this is an upgrade. The 29" wheels make a difference for a nice smooth ride on gravel. Can't wait to get it on the trails. Like the 1x9 gearing. I don't change gears a ton and don't need the 3x8 that I used to roll with. I'm a tweener at 5'10" and test rode a large frame and a medium frame. The medium felt lighter to me, more nimble, so I went with the medium. Taking advantage of the sale price was a bonus! Happy with this bike. The battlecast color is stealth like and looks sick!

My wife owns the size small version of this bike and when it was time for my daughter to buy a new one, we knew exactly what to get her. She went with a size medium and absolutely loves it. The one item it was missing for her needs was a dropper post, which I was able to add on my own. Perfect bike for trail riding.

Tengo desde hace 3 días mi nueva Rockhopper Comp 29 y me ha dejado gratamente satisfecho. Mi uso es solo para la ciudad, específicamente la empleo para ir ami trabajo y la calidad se siente. Tiene componentes de primera categoría, es liviana y muy veloz. Recomendable 100%

Bought my first Rockhopper when I was almost 40. Best bike ever and I passed it onto my son years later. Now I'm almost 70 and decided to get back to riding again. The improvements made over the years are amazing. Great job to the design team! Time to start being a kid again. Oh yes, and this bike can stop. Hoooa!

Used to ride bmx for years when I was younger. Now I’m 42 and want to ride again. Got the rockhopper comp 29 a month ago. Love it. Bought my stepson a rockhopper 27.5 to get out there with me. Picked it up today in Delaware at Wooden Wheels and we are ready to hit the trails. Great quality. Light bike. I would definitely recommend Specialized.

Awesome Bike. Good on line order experience, although note you have to use a credit card from the same country and be in the country to order. Quick turnaround and best part was collecting the bike at Velox. They explained everything to my son about the bike and set it up perfectly. velofix.com.au

El marco de la bicicleta está bueno, es bonita la bicicleta pero en cuanto a los componentes como los cambios y la cadena me desepciono Saltan mucho y ya me hicieron el cambio y el arreglo pero siguió con problemas así que me quedé con la bici pero con la sensación de que no vale lo que pague por ella en ese tiempo valía 800 mil

Very pleased with this bike, for the price the components are excellent. Other than customizing the bars for my own height, I didn't have to change anything. Great quality for the price, and option to upgrade components later is a bonus

It's been 2months and we rode the bikes on the paved trails a couple of times. The first time the tire got punctured and I reached out to support they did help and gave replacement tubes which I totally appreciate. But I started seeing the poor pedal crank arm losing its threading within a week. The quality is way below the price. I would instead buy a 100$ bike in Walmart than endure this pain.

I’ve only really taken this bike on one ride but wow! It was really nice and really fun. I got this bike as an upgrade from my older Rockhopper sport.

This is my first Specialized bike and It's great. The welds are perfect, the battleship grey color is awesome and the lettering is almost ghosted. It's lightweight for a hardtail and very quiet when riding. The only negatives I can give it are: the front shock isn't the best for an entry level. I wish it was the Rockshox Judy but hey, it's an entry level bike. The only other negative is the shifter. I'm not a fan of the trigger shifter for higher gears. I'd much rather it be a thumb push so I don't have to take my finger off of the brake lever. All-in-all it's a great bike!!!

Great product, love everything about it. Just got it a day ago so cannot go on too long about it but from the amount of research, customer service and product I actually have experienced. All is good.

Great Bikes

The bike is great, and everything you'd expect from Specialized, and more. However the "Red" color option looks nothing like the photos. I was expecting a pretty saturated almost fire engine red based on the pictures and it's definitely not. You'd describe it as orange way before "red". It's a pretty dark 1970's shag carpet orange. I love the bike though and it would be too much of a hassle to return it just for the color issue. So for now I just call it "anti-theft orange". But hey, if you yearn for wood paneled basements, shag carpet, vinyl records, and gold polyester, this is the color for you!

Been 25 years since I got a new bike (my last one is Specialized as well, and it is still going strong!). Decided to treat myself. Did the assembly myself in about an hour... can't wait for warmer weather!

Great bike, fast shipping, it was hard for me to find a bike that fits me, at 6’11 I had to be very picky, the XXL fits pretty good as it was the largest xxl out of my possible choices

Cool bike, well built, lots of fun and great value. Had some issues with the wheels but Specialized stepped up and took care of the problem quickly. This is a great company to deal with.

La bicicleta RockHopper se veía genial, pero el técnico la trajo ya armada y venía con un problema grave en un pedal. El proceso de solicitar el cambio fue bien engorroso, aunque al parecer hoy la entregan. El poco tiempo que pude probar la bici (un día, antes de la falla), fue fantástico. Esperemos que esta vez esté todo ok.

Hice la compra online y solicite el envío directo a mi domicilio. La bicicleta llego en el tiempo indicado y muy bien empaquetada, ajustada de la transmisión, solo instale el freno delantero y el manillar. Inmediatamente la empecé a rodar y se desplazo muy bien Llego con manual, CD y garantías pero no venia la factura.

Es una muy buena bicicleta, ligera y muy agradable de manejar, componentes acordes al modelo, excelente precio - calidad.

Bought this bike because it was the nicest looking compared to others. Rides smooth. Will upgrade front suspension in the future. MicroShift components work great. Put over 100 miles in the first month and no issues.

I am new to mountain biking and my son said this was the best bike to start with. Brakes are nice and tight. Bike is easy to maneuver. I was looking at other brands and he insisted on Specialized (he started with a rockhopper and now rides a stumpjumper) Higher quality parts and impeccable customer service!! The satin cast battleship (steel blue) is even prettier in person. Call them if you have any questions or need help deciding on size. They will patiently help you.

Una bisicleta cómoda y ligera en el empedrado de siente muy cómoda, tiene colores muy bonitos y llamativos de mucha calidad, me gustó en general pero lo que si no me gustó nada fueron los frenos SRAM de allí en fuera me gustó mucho!

Love the bike. Well built and it is a beautiful bike. The drop off / delivery service was very profession and answered all my questions.

If you're like me, you're considering a rockhopper because you want to get on the trail and full-suspension bikes are *crazy* expensive. Maybe you don't have 2 or 3k, maybe you're not sure if you'll enjoy it enough to invest that much, or maybe you know very little about bikes. So, go ahead and pull the trigger on a rockhopper. Life is short, and sometimes ya just gotta send it. It's really a cross country bike, but if you want to get it on some more rugged terrain, a few upgrades will go a long way. Here's what I changed: Pedals (raceface chester) Dropper seatpost (brand x ascend) Front fork (rockshox judy silver) You can certainly have a lot of fun with this while leaving all the stock parts on. As your skill levels change, its components will eventually hold you back. With the above upgrades, the rockhopper is closer to a $1500 bike. Worth it. Happy riding!

Es mi primera Bici con ruedas de 29" y en talla S, mido 1.66mts (por laguna razón me recomendaron NO usar la talla M en la tienda física a la que fui antes de ordenarla Online), pienso que el andar es agradable con el monoplato de 32 y relación de 9V en 11-42, siempre y cuando no te consigas subidas pronunciadas ya que el 42, no es lo suficientemente suave para pedalear en subidas muy empinadas (esta es la cicla ideal para uso recreatvio). Si eres una persona que te gusta las rodadas un poco mas retadoras, pienso que deberías ubicar una opción con mejor relación del grupo que te garantice al menos un piñon de 46. Por ultimo, me extraño que con la bicicleta, NO se entrega una tarjeta de propiedad; el único documento que lo acredita a uno como propietario, es la factura digital que llega a correo.

Ridden the bike several times and several miles. Everything I was looking for in a bike. Easy shifting, very responsive brakes and surprisingly a pretty smooth ride.

Well built, easy to ride, balanced, light, and not bad to look at either.

The rockhopper comp 29 is an upgrade from my hardrock disc 26 and I have begun tracking in it 17 miles daily some hills and mostly flat road commuting. The rock hopper comp 29 has been a good upgrade and is holding up as expected. The shifting through the gear is smooth, but a little noisy other than that its been great.

Very happy with my new specialized bike. Great value and a big upgrade from my previous bike.

This is th e second RockHopper bile ive owned the first one was back in the early 90's and i enjoyed that bike . Now 30 yrs later im back with another RockHopper but this time with fron Suspenion the RockHopper Comp , what a great riding bike

The bike is amazing and good beginner bike. I wish it came with tapered compatible forks so I have a little more options to upgrade the bike

This is an excellent value bike. You can definitely save some hard-earned money by going with this option there are a few models a little bit more money that offer a slightly enhanced shock but I don't think the majority of riders will notice any difference. This bike can be use on or off the trail basic pave dirt and a little rough stuff. It has more than enough gears for all riding conditions and Hills. Very similar bike to the Fire Mountain Kona all of this one has a better shock and hydraulic disc brakes so again a very good value bicycle low maintenance is expected
