Designed for Fat and Semi Fat tyre bikes, the Air Tool Big Bore Pump packs massive volume-per-stroke, and it features a head that still works with winter gloves on to make it perfect for backcountry winter fat biking.

  • Oversized press-on Schrader and Presta head won't accidentally remove valve cores and can be easily used with thick gloves.

  • Flexible hose attachment allows for aggressive pumping without fear of damaging valve stems.

  • Inverted barrel design allows for high volume in a compact size.

  • Coarse machined aluminium barrel for extra grip.

  • Water bottle boss mount with elastomer band included.

  • Max pressure: 50 PSI (3.5bar)

  • Volume-per-stroke: 90cc

Too much force to get head on presta valve stem

You cannot get this pump head mechanism to slide and lock onto presta valve stem without excessive force. It's impossible to operate with frozen fingers. Looking for a new, easier to operate, pump to replace it. Pump was used on Fatboy.

quality pump, very useful

Only high volume minipump I could find. Use it for 26x4,8"" fatbiketires. In about 100 strokes it will inflate from about 0,5 bar to decent pressure for road use, in my experience. Very helpful when fixing a flat during a trip. Aluminium body is durable and the head works well with both Schrader en Presta valves . I keep it in my framebag, dry and clean. Good product

I like it.

Used now for a month on a 27.5in freeride/dh set up. Works as it should, havent had any problems getting on and off the stems. Also it has a pull out hose that gives you like 4 inchs to make it easier. Lbs guy didnt even know it until i pulled the hose out. Not a big fan of the offset mount but what ever.

Don't like it

I find the connection to the valve hard to remove sometimes. Mine is 6 months old and it just gave up the ghost on schraders, just will not get air into the tube. Back to the LBS it goes, hopefully I can exchange for something else. To my mind using a threaded connection would make a lot of sense.

Great pump

The trick is to hold your thumb over the back of the pump head as you push it over the valve. Once fully over the valve then allow the pump valve to fully engage pushing it over the valve. It will lock on at this point and you can begin pumping. Pump weights about 150ish grams, and will inflate either a mid fat or fat tire in no time. Can't go wrong.
