Here's proof you don't need tons of suspension travel to tackle challenging trails. Equipped with an all-new, longer, lower and rowdier chassis, we've added 27.5x2.8 wheels and tires to the Fuse 27.5 to create a bike that lets you hit rocks and roots at speed with absolute control.

ROWDY BY DESIGN

The Fuse is loaded with smart touches. The wide-diameter down tube boosts stiffness. The low-slung top tube improves maneuverabilty on tight trails. And while this Fuse's 27.5x2.8 tires give it tons of traction and stability, it's also compatible with 29er wheels and tires.

PERFECTLY DIALED

Fail to nail the geometry and advanced designs will still amount to nothing on the trail. Fuse gets it right. The long reach gives you even weight distribution. The slack head angle lends confidence on sketchy descents. The steep seat angle makes quick work of steep climbs.

SMART PARTS PICK

• Plus-size tires provide insane traction and stability on the choppiest trails.

• 130-millimeters of suspension courtesy of a RockShox Judy Silver TK fork.

• Highlights include hydraulic disc brakes, a dropper post, and single-ring drivetrain.

Top 3 hardtails

This Hardtail is amazing, it is currently my main bike and I do not desire much more. Everything Specialized claims about this bike is 100% true. It is a hardtail that rides like an enduro bike. I would go on a stretch and say I would race light enduro on this. The Shimano Deore M5100 is as reliable as it gets, I have smashed it into rocks, trees, you name it, I have smashed the rear mech into, it still shifts like a dream. The only thing that I think should be changes is the Judy Silver TurnKey, the damper does not have compression and narrower than desirable stantions. It still feels amazing though, the judy is als amazinly reliable though. I would highly recomend this to anyone from a beginner to even a pro looking for a hardtail. Ps- Pedals well too.

THE DREAM!

Have been eyeing reviews and discussions about this bike since its release in 2021. Seemed the most suited, stylish and decent spec'd hardtail in this price point (under $2000 CAD!) for general needs in my terrain. Mid pandemic made It difficult to any bike let alone this one, luckily I have just found one in my size, new backstock from a retailer in BC Canada. It just arrived last week via domestic courier and I've ridden it every day since. Nimble indeed! Perfect Geometry for both light trail work and even long XC... and just a beautiful sight to behold!

For the money....amazing

I recently purchased this bike, it looks amazing and was looking for something more nimble than my 29er dual suspension rig. This feels light, quick, nimble and surprised me on the descents those big tires really soak up a lot of chatter...so pleased.

Perfecto!

Can't say anything bad about it. 100% happy. Performs great on single track, fire road downhills, and uphills. Always had gears to spare on steep uphills. In muddy and rutty trails, the 2.8 tires ate it up. Thought they would be a bit too big coming from a 2.1, but love em!!

Great hard tail at a reasonable price.

I do trail riding 2 to 3 times a week. I really love how this bike performs. The 2.8"" wide tires have great grip. This bike has plenty of climbing gear. I actually prefer the 1x11 drivetrain over a 1x12. You still get a 51 tooth climbing gear and one less gear in between. Simple, well made, and pretty light compared to other similar models.

I Love this bike it's bad asssss.

The fuse is the perfect bike for someone if they don't want to have to service front and rear suspension it has big 2.8 inch tires and 130 mm of suspension. When I ride this I am always sending new things because of the confidence this bike gave me. 10 out of 10

AWESOME! Buy it!

First, this is my first 'REAL' bike. I bought sight unseen from an amazing local shop and when I laid eyes on it and gave it a pedal around the parking lot, I could not have been more pleased. Had the shop set it up tubeless before pickup. Second, I have ridden about 125 miles since mid-August-2020 in the Pisgah, NC area and the bike has performed flawlessly. Third, for some reason people love the look of it, and I am always receiving complements. Fourth, I almost bought a Roscoe, but when I really compared the bikes the Fuse was the clear winner. Fuse is 148 boost compared to the Roscoe being a WEIRD 141 (good luck finding a new wheelset), and the Fuse has a thru axle instead of QR. Those two items are HUGE miss for the Roscoe. If you are looking for a great hardtail, I have done the research and logged the miles. You will not be disappointed at all with the Fuse. Highly recommend.

Great platform to build on

I'm about seventy miles in on my new fuse and so far it exceeded expectations. Everything from rocky descents to flowy and pump tracks has been a breeze. I did swap for a touch longer stem and riser bars to get the fit I wanted but I find that's common on most bikes I've owned because I'm between sizes. Sure the spec could be nicer but for the money it's a great start. I'll improve the cranks, shock and step up to 12 speed eventually but out the door this baby really has shined.

Love at first sight & first ride

Newbie rider at 5 ft 0 in. on an XS. As soon as I jumped on this bike I knew instantly that I wanted to upgrade from my recently purchased Rockhopper sport 27.5. No doubt, I don't regret upgrading so soon, drop post is convenient and shifting is a breeze. The ride is smooth, and I have more control and confidence when riding. If you can afford to invest in yourself for several years to come, this is definitely worth every penny.

Better than a roscoe but not by much.

I had a roscoe and sold it and found that I needed a bike again. Only reason I didn't go with trek is because they Didn't put a thru axle on the rear which is absurd and it's 3-400 more than the fuse. But the trek feels a tad better On the all around quality. If you do anything more than light very groomed and low skill trails then it's great stock. If you're skills are above average then just about every part will need an upgrade. My rear cassette has given me problems straight from the bike store. There's too much play in the rear hub. Chain will always hop off the smallest cog and get stuck. Hubs are definitely not great. Bars are the first thing that needed replaced. I got a size L frame but even being 6'4 it feels too stretched. Probably should've bought the medium. But after all the money I've spent I should've just bought a Santa Cruz jackal. In the end it's Great bike at the price point compared to others in the same category. Just plan on spending more money soon after buying. Bars and forks are a must upgrade on them.

2021 Fuse

I spent forever researching and trying to find info on this bike and then forever locating one! Drove almost 4hrs each way to obtain it. It was worth it! The bike is killer! Would have been nice with Recon instead of Judy but for the price it works. I'm 5' 9.5"" with short legs and a long torso so I'm kinda in-between sizes. I went with the medium and I think I made the right choice. Standover height is perfect. The only real complaint I have is that the handlebars need to sit higher. Only one spacer under the stem and no room to add more. I ordered 40mm rise bars because it seemed the easiest fix. We'll see!
