While the real fun starts where the road ends, you still need a bike that'll get you there—one bike that shreds flowy singletrack, gravel, and traditional roads with equal authority. A more capable road bike won’t cut it, nor will a more road-worthy 'cross bike for that matter. No, you need a dedicated gravel bike like the Diverge. First and foremost, it's fun and always down for a good time, but with a progressively-tuned Future Shock, our fast and stable Open Road Geometry, and plenty of tire clearance, it redefines the possibilities for adventure on a drop-bar bike.

A revolutionary design is waste of time with junk components, which is why we spec’d the Diverge Comp with Shimano's Ultegra 11-speed group. Reason behind this was easy—we just love Ultegra’s clutched rear derailleur and hydraulic disc brakes. Of course, we have you covered elsewhere too, with smooth and sturdy DT R470 Disc wheels, a Praxis Zayante crankset, 38mm Pathfinder Pro tires, and our fan-favorite Power Comp saddle.

  • Clearance for either 700x42mm or 650b x 47mm tires? Check. Three water bottle mounts, mounts for racks and fenders, and our Road SWAT™ kit. The Diverge not only has everything you need for pretty much any pedal-powered adventure—whether it's gravel racing, bikepacking, or weekend shredding—and does so at a frame weight that's close to today's high-end road bikes. Sure, you might be thinking more plaid flannel than Polka Dot Jersey, but you'll thank us on your next dirt climb.

  • You can think of the Diverge's geometry as a road version of a modern trail bike. It provides playful handling and predictable steering for endless dirt skids and mid-corner drifts, but keeps stiffness up to snuff for your inner-racer. Along with a bottom bracket that's over a half-centimeter lower than the previous Diverge, we also slacked-out the head tube angle, shortened the chainstays, and made a shorter wheelbase. The result? A bike that performs equally well over both the dirt and road.

  • There's only so much that wider tires with lower pressures can absorb when it comes to bumps, but this is where our Future Shock comes into play. It not only soaks up bumps with ease, but it also adds the benefit of extremely predictable handling. That's because the wheelbase isn't lengthening when you hit a bump, so when you dive hard into a turn, you won't be surprised by under-steer or sloppy handling. The Diverge's version also gets a special treatment featuring a progressive spring that makes this technology more suitable for off-road applications, where stiffer suspension is often needed to soak-up larger bumps and obstacles.

1st Carbon gravel

Before I bought it I was trying many others competitors gravels. This one was love on first look. It fits totally also for longer trips (my longest was 170km). After 2 years I am fully satisfied because is light, fast and confortable. I change only to carbon and wider rims a this fits even better than original one - small hit to constructors 😉

Worth every penny

I ride 75-100mi a week in the winter and 100-125mi in the summer. I have been riding for several years and am aware there are folks that ride far more than me but I ride enough to say this Diverge is AWESOME. I have the black carbon Ultegra and upgraded the wheels to C38s. I will say the wheel upgrade is worth it and the paint looks great in gloss black. I did NOT buy this bike to gravel race but rather as a dedicated winter bike or as a bike for unknown riding routs. I will say there are no complaints with the bike. I ride a 2020 Roubiax and have ended up preferring this bike over the other. I will compare the Diverge to the Tarmac and the Roubiax. So is it faster than a Tarmac? NO its not but its not advertised as such. Is it faster than a Roubiax? NO its about the same speed on the flats and a little slower on the climbs but not horrible. Overall this Diverge would keep up with the two in a bunch ride and hold its own. I can easily say if I were to pick between my Roubiax and the Diverge id pick the Diverge any day. It is just as comfortable and almost as fast, its also very cool to be able to turn around on grass, rocks or even a slight amount of slop with out concern. I also like to use its gravel features and run through a trial or two just for fun. In the winter if there are debris on the road like sticks, dirt clods or leaves it just plows over them. This bike is like having a V8 4x4. its fast when you motor down on it and has off pavement abilities. I can easily see me riding this all summer too. Cant say enough about it. Wheel Fast bike shop in Chatham IL is the place to buy if you want one. look them up they are amazing...
