Terms & Conditions

• Future Shockin’ Getaway promotion (“Promotion”) runs from August 15 to September 30, 2024 (“Promo Period”)and is open to riders residing in the Selected Areas only. The Selected Areas include Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.

• During the Promo Period, any rider residing in the Selected Areas who purchases an S-Works Diverge, S-Works Diverge STR, or S-Works Roubaix SL8 bike from Specialized.com or a Specialized Authorized Retailer in the Selected Areas will have the chance to participate in the Future Shockin’ Getaway event (“Event”), which will be held in Taiwan from October 28 to 30, 2024.

• The Promotion and the Event are organized by Specialized Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and its affiliates (collectively, "Specialized"). Specialized reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions herein at any time. By participating in the Promotion and/or the Event, participants are deemed to accept and agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the terms on Specialized.com (including Terms of Use and Privacy Policy). If there are any doubts regarding the Promotion, the Event, or the terms and conditions herein, they will be subject toSpecialized's determination and interpretation.

• The participation quota for the Event is limited to 25 spots, allocated based on the order of purchase by the riders and the order of registration for participation. Riders who purchase from Specialized.com must express their intention to participate in the Event by emailing to [[email protected]] and provide a copy of their purchase receipt for verification. Riders who purchase from a Specialized Authorized Retailer must express their intention to participate in the Event through the Authorized Retailer to the Specialized APAC representative.

• Specialized will notify all the 25 eligible riders (“EligibleRiders”) about their participation in the Event by October 4, 2024. Eligible Riders must confirm their participation by October 10, 2024; otherwise, it will be considered as giving up their spot. Eligible Riders must have a valid visa to travel to Taiwan for the Event and should provide proper evidence to Specialized for verification purposes.

• Eligible Riders will be invited to participate in the Event and will enjoy the following benefits free of charge:(a) Round-trip economy class airfare from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, or Thailand (depending on the rider's location) to Taipei, Taiwan, provided by the airline designated by Specialized; (b) two nights of accommodation at the hotel designated by Specialized; (c) official riding experiences and support services provided by Specialized; and(d) meals provided by Specialized during the main riding event on October 29, 2024.

• The Event participation quota and benefits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other prizes.

• Specialized reserves the right to refuse participation in the Event to any Eligible Riders who do not meet the travel, health, and fitness requirements, and/or any other necessary safety and management criteria for the Event.

• Eligible Riders must comply with applicable laws and followSpecialized's instructions regarding the Event. Failure to cooperate will be considered as giving up eligibility. Any other matters not covered herein will be handled in accordance with applicable laws.

• Specialized may process your personal data internally or through external data processors. External processors will handle your personal data in accordance with relevant data protection regulations. As Specialized operates globally, this means that Specialized may transfer your personal data to other countries in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For more details, please read the Privacy Policy on Specialized.com.

• To the extent permitted by law, Specialized, its employees, agents, or retailers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death resulting from participation in the Promotion and the Event.

• Specialized excludes all legal liability for any loss of income, profit, reputation, data, opportunities, or any direct or consequential loss or damage incurred by participants as a result of participating in the Promotion and the Event, whether such loss or damage is direct or indirect.

• Participation in the Promotion or the Event does not confer any legal rights.Specialized is not responsible for any inability of participants to participate in the Promotion or the Event for any reason.

• If participants are injured while participating in the Promotion or the Event, Specialized will not be held liable.

• Specialized will not be responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these terms and conditions, as long as the cause is (directly or indirectly) beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, labor disputes, accidents, natural disasters, and disruptions, loss, or failure of facilities, communication, or computer software or hardware services.

• To the extent permitted by law, no warranties of any kind are provided for the Promotion and the Event, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied

• Specialized will not be responsible for any failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations under these terms and conditions, as long as the cause is (directly or indirectly) beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, labor disputes, accidents, natural disasters, and disruptions, loss, or failure of facilities, communication, or computer software or hardware services. To the extent permitted by law, no warranties of any kind are provided for the Promotion and the Event, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of satisfactory quality or fitness for a particular purpose. If participation in the Promotion or the Event requires guardian consent, Specialized reserves the right to refuse such participation and disclaims any responsibility in this regard.
