I use this mount with my Specialized rear rack. In conjunction with the saddle mount, I am super confident that I am visible with lights at two different heights. I commute every day, year round in Portland, OR, and will continue to use these mounts for my lighting system for the foreseeable future. The mount itself took maybe two minutes to install. I've not had to tinker with it at all since installing it a few months ago. I really appreciate how secure and snug it is once mounted; no jostling or moving around once secured. Additionally, the aluminum bracket can be bent to angle the light to your preference. More than anything, I really just love how clean the look is when paired with the saddle mount. It makes it look like the lighting system is apart of your bike, rather than just an accessory with rubber straps. Not 100% necessary, but a big plus for someone who is pretty picky about appearance.
