Always difficult to snugly fit the pump to the valve. Sometimes you pull the pump connector and it traps the presta valve and then the tube is void.

I recently purchased butyl 700cx20-28 48mm tubes from Specialized(Four or more purchase so far). I’ve noticed that the valves are slowly leaking air. I’ve removed the valve core and inspected the core gasket/seal, but the issue persists. However, I’ve found that tightening the valve core lock nut/top nut very snugly by hand after inflating to the desired pressure helps. Specialized should look into this matter. The butyl tubes purchase is worse that latex tubes because of this issue. Regards WJ

I've had issues with stems with assorted brands. These seem the most consistent for the price.

What I initially thought was a slow puncture occurred over three months in different wheels. These were the proprietary tubes which came with the bike. No puncture in either tube, tested underwater no obstructions in rims or tyres. It can only be an issue with the values, air let down as the valves and caps held no resistance. Reading another review people seem to be having similar issues with the same inner tubes

I bought two 700 x 32-50c 60mm tubes. No matter how much I pumped air intothe valves the they would not seal. Air kept leaking form the valves.03015-0316

It shipped fast, and it’s a tube not much more to say.

I have cycled since I childhood, I'm 71 now, I do my own maintenance and still prefer the simplicity of tubes. These are some of the best made tubes I've ever used, hands down.

This has been my favorite tube for many years. These tubes are reliable and durable. Not much more you can ask for in a tube.

As has been mentioned here by others, I too had issues with the two I bought. The valve on both of them came out when the pump was removed. Needless to say, I will never buy another, and I strongly recommend you stay away from these.

Never have a problem with these tubes and the packaging allows for improved ease of carrying a spare while long distance cycling.

Awesome tubes. I’ve been using for years. I always use Specialized Flak Jacket tires so I can’t even imagine getting a flat!!

My main interest was on the weight side in comparison to latex tubes which are why more expensive. I got the 700 x 20.26c with 60mm Presta Valve @ 69gr

Adhesive failure where valve attaches to tube. I have good pictures of failure. New tires and tube installed at dealer. The tire was flat before 2nd ride. Removed tube and found defective condition. Also MADE IN CHINA stamped on tube along with Specialized brand. Recommend to NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT until you pump up the tube outside the tire and check for separation.

Any time we can buy an OEM quality product for a competitive price, it's a win. I won't know how good it is until I have a flat, but needed a new spare tube size to match my new Specialized Bicycle. I am highly confident the product will meet expectations when needed.

The tubes are sturdy and last as well as other quality tubes.

I love using these tubes. They are durable and pretty reliable when used with liners. Make sure the stem valves aren't loose, but overall, great tubes for the price.

Did not even last ~ 20 miles. On the 2nd day, the stem base gave up from the tube and is leaking air. The original tube that came with the bike, lasted 3 weeks (no thorns or pins or nails). The new tube lasted only 2 days. I have tripled checked the tires and have not found any offending material.

I like the fact that they span 20 thru 28 tires and I've totally switched from Continental tubes to Specialized tubes. Can't beat the quality & the price.

Bought three of these and all three had a malfunction issue where the valve separated from the tire when removing my bike pump after inflating. The valve just slid right out, releasing all the air. These were expensive tubes and to have this issue was incredibly frustrating, especially when it happened while replacing a tube on a ride. Need to be able to depend on tubes and I can't depend on these.

I have not used this tube yet as it is a backup. I have used these tubes previously and they are quality tubes.

specialized stuff is often the best products. The basic tunes for instance are not big and bulky and have a wider range (20-28) of width than other brands. So they can be used on either my gravel or road bike. Armadillos are also the best puncture proof tire on the market. They outlasted gatorskins in my head to head test where I put one on front other on back of both of my bikes. Got more flats on the gatorskins and the gatorskins wore through to the shielding underneath the rubber before the armadillos.

We use these tubes with Armadillo tires and never had any issues

I am not a fan of tubeless. Call me old school but no mess, no clogged valves, no worry about when stans is dried up. With the butcher T7 I run 19-20 pounds with tube and extremely rare to get a flat. I ride rugged New England trails with sharp stone.

Used these tubes for past several years and haven’t had any problem. Change tires and tubes every two years or sooner based on 5,000+ miles. Not buying any other brand.

Perfect fit for my 650b* 47c tire

I Purchased this as a spare for my Creo. Not had to use it yet. but no complaints about the tubes construction as far as I can tell.

Perfectly fine tube except that the valve core being removable, sometimes comes out when you don't want it to. Like by the side of the road, with your last patch on, all out of CO2, and tired of pumping. The blame lies in large measure with my (now ex) pump, Lezyne, notorious I now know for extracting cores. Still, never seen this problem before in 50 years of riding so the tube shares some of the blame.

I get many many miles with little to no flats.

Like the tubes fairly durable. Good product. Cant tell much about decreased rolling resistance though.
