Taking the notion of combining flagship performance with workhorse dependability one step further, we’re introducing the Terra C. This shares the same hub and spoke architecture as the Terra CL, ensuring ease of service and spoke replacement should the need arise, and is paired with an entirely new rim layup. The rims on the Terra C share the same dimensions and broad range of tire mounting possibilities as the Terra CLX and CL – 33mm deep with a 25mm internal width – but are crafted using a new-to-us process known as Resin Transfer Molding. This is an automated process that allows us to very precisely control how resin is introduced to the layup, which in turn ensures maximum strength and material performance. The end result is an incredibly tough set of wheels that you can beat on to hell and back.

  • Rim: Terra C RTM Carbon Clincher, 700c, Disc Brake, Tubeless Compatible

  • Rim Details:32mm Depth, 30mm External Width, 25mm Internal Width - ERD 577mm

  • Spokes: DT Swiss Competition Race J-bend, Front: Radial/Two-cross 24 count, R: 268mm, L: 279mm - Rear: Two-cross 24 count, DS: 277mm NDS: 278mm

The most durable wheels I have ever owned

Bought these right after they came out, ~ 3 years ago now. They survived a crash that broke the frame ('17 Roubaix) and a pothole hit at 40 mph that destroyed a tire. Had them inspected by the shop both times. They are still running smoothly and have needed no spoke tension adjustments at all. I am 220 lbs and not gentle on wheels. This is the first rear wheel to survive 18 months under me without needing constant tension tweaks and I am way past that now. Probably have about 12-13,000 miles across the 2 frames (9k post crash frame). Would absolutely buy them again, but I don't need to which is even better.

Bombproof

I’ve been riding these wheels over a year without issue. Then by accident I ran over the rear wheel expecting a total loss. To my surprise no cracks just a bent rotor that will be replaced and a wheel true to line it back up and it spins like new!

10/10 would buy again

Replaced my factory wheels with a set of these after a spoke broke on the second ride. These gems arrived well packed and with all the essential items. Easy to setup tubeless even with Challenge Getaway tires. They are compliant and stiff with a lively ride quality and are super durable. They are not flashy or gimmicky, just solid, reliable, and lightweight.

Great set of carbon wheels

I also have the CL version and was curious about the DT370’s at lower price compared to the CL’s DT350’s.They were going on a fitness bike. They are a great set of wheels. For the price, it is tough to beat. The weight drop over stock wheels was nearly 400 grams. Wrapped some Pathfinder S-Work tires on them, tires went on pretty easy, and what a beautiful combination. Highly recommend at this price.

The only complaint is that

The only complaint is that I have to purchase the XD driver for SRAM separately. Came with Shimano freehub, but I run SRAM on all my bikes. I imagine Campagnolo Ekar users would like that option as well.

Bomb Proof Wheels

I have been using the Terra Cs as my "rough terrain" wheels on my Diverge gravel bike for almost two years. This has included lots of jeep roads and single track where people are surprised to see a drop bar bike. They have performed flawlessly, remaining true with no issues whatsoever. The build quality is exceptional. Yes, there are lighter gravel wheels out there, but the Terra Cs represent fantastic value for money. Bravo.

Roval Terra C wheelset

These wheels are reasonably light and have the very durable DT Swiss hubs. High tires mounted up tubeless very easily. Overall a great durable wheelset for the price.

Awesome wheelset at a great price.

Amazing carbon wheels at a great value. Love the width of the Terra wheels for wider road tires and gravel capable. Heavy duty weight capacity is great too for bigger riders. I didn’t expect these to be so much stiffer and nicer than the aluminum wheels my bike came with but these were definitely worth the upgrade.

Great wheels but they won’t fit a Turbo Creo

Great wheels but don’t buy these wheels if you’re intending to put them on an electric Turbo bike which have a wider axle than these standard wheels. Great wheels but I wish they came with an option of a wider axle for my Turbo Creo

Fantastic Upgrade from stock Axis

I’ve got a 2022 Diverge Comp E5 that shipped with an Axis wheel set. The Terra C’s are a notable upgrade. They spin up noticeably faster, roll smoother, and provide a more confident feel. The bike is noticeably lighter. Tires fit easy, Panaracer Gravel Kings go on without levers. The $750 sale price was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

Roval Terra Wheelset

Just purchased this wheelset a few weeks ago and put about 100 miles on my gravel bike. Set them up tubeless using Maxxis Rambler 700x40 60tpi and sealed right up with zero issues. The wheels are very firm around corners and very smooth rolling. I did change the clutch to 56 just because I have bad knees and less crank play works best for me although it might have a bit more drag. I highly recommend these especially at the price.

Awesome!

These are nice, wide tubeless ready wheels with a legit warranty. The width is perfect for 30mm tires. The tape and valves work great. I needed to convert these to quick release skewers. DT Swiss makes a variety of end caps for the 370 hubs and I was able to convert them to QR easily by purchasing new end caps and swapping them out.

Tough to beat for price

Purchased these for wife’s Sirrus X. They’re not aesthetically the prettiest carbon rims on the market, but you cannot beat this price, with this reputation, durability, with lifetime warranty. They were true to weight, and very well built.

Light, Tough and Fast

I purchased the Roval Terra C Wheelset and 2 Sawtooth 2Bliss Tires (700x38c) to replace my stock aluminum wheels on my 2019 Carbon Diverge. I could tell an immediate difference in the weight of the bike, how much faster I could go for the same amount of effort and how smooth and dead quite the bike is now! I went tubeless and have zero regrets! My local bike shop assembled the wheels and I went with a new chain, cassette, rotors, brakes, etc. The wheels made a great bike greater!

Light and strong, perfect for gravel or off road.

These came stock on my Crux which I ride on some of the local single tracks and dirt roads in my area. They roll smooth and are reasonably light (mine weigh under 1600g a pair). Tires install easily (I'm running tubeless Rhombus 42c) and they can be run at very low psi. According to Specialized these wheels were built for taking a beating and so far that has proven true. The free hub is a ratchet design and durable, plus it can be changed to run XD, XDR, HG or HG road cassettes. Can't really can't do wrong here, for a great set of low cost and durable carbon gravel wheels.

Super light!!!

I recently replaced the stock DT Swiss wheels that came on my 2020 Crux Comp with a set of these. After setup (Tubeless w/Panaracer Gravel King SS, 700cx38), the bike lost 1lb. The front end is so light now that on on climbs I have to purposefully add weight to it, otherwise it will lift/wheelie!!. I did ditch the HG/3 pawl driver setup in favor of an HDR/DT Swiss 54T setup. I love the angry bee buzz the rear hub makes as it reverberates with the carbon (no need for a bike bell). So far they have tackled 800 miles of rough SoCal gravel/trail/single track and rocks mix with no problem. Added to that, they hold a line very well (no matter the sketch level), which is confidence inspiring. On the road they are also fast, making rides in between trailheads even more awesome!!. Thanks Specialized, well done!!

Immediate benefits

This wheelset replaces the stock DT Swiss wheel on my Diverge EVO Pro flat bar gravel bike. The improvement was noticeable instantly. The total weight savings was 1lb, using the same tubeless tires. Spin-up is quicker and riding felt significantly easier. The big surprise was descending: the wheels are more precise due to greater stiffness, leading to better cornering. This is my first carbon wheelset. I’m sold! The one downside to be aware of: the freehub uses the wide spline design. To mount my Shimano 12 speed 10-45 cassette, I had to spend another $100 for a micro-spline freehub. Specialized’s specs make this clear. Luckily, switching freehubs required no tools. So I still rate them 5 stars. Thanks Specialized.

Great wheels for the price!

I purchased these wheels to replace the stick wheelset that came on my 2021 Diverge e5 comp and these wheels have absolutely blown me away. The combination of low weight (1610 grams), internal rim width (25mm) and new DT Swiss 370 hub cannot be matched at this price point. I am currently riding these with the WTB Resolute SG2s at 30 psi and I feel as though I'm floating on a cloud. I am getting PBs on Strava segments that I typically ride on my road bike! Maybe I have limited experience with high end cycling equipment but I am a 6000+ mile a year cyclist who occasionally competes in local races and regularly participates in lively group rides. I'm sure there are better wheels out there but for the price these wheels are fantastic and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Shout out to The Bike Route in Fayetteville, AR for making it happen!

Amazing value with good components!

Try to find a better wheel set for under $1,000 with DT Swiss sealed bearings and the all new 370 Ratchet free hub. The ROVAL logo's are painted and clear coated so as not to peel which is a nice touch. I'm not sure if it's the rim or the Vittoria Terreno dry g2.0 tires but they were a bear installing. It took all my strength and a pair of Pedro levers to get them on. Unfortunately some of the rim tape was damaged from the tire levers but not to the extent of re-taping the wheels.
