Great for upgrades

I got this bike the year of 2020 and have put many trail miles on it. I would highly recommend this bike for anyone who want to do some black diamond trails but does not want to buy an expensive bike. I have done many of my own custom upgrades including: 180 rotors, SR suntour raidon shocks, bucklos through axle carbon wheel, wtb grips, new chain ring on the front, 2.8 Tires for the front and 3.5 for the back, and an E10 dropper post. I have done full out races on this bike and it has made me proud.

A great entry-level bike

This is a great trail bike for those that are looking to get into mountain biking or have little experience and don't want to commit by buying a more expensive bike. It is suitable for trail riding and can handle off road terrain really well. Any non-paved road is an easy task. It is best on downhill sections without too many technical sections. I have even used it for small jumps and some urban explorations (involving riding down stairs). Very sturdy, comfortable and convenient. However I would not use this bike for anything different than trail riding, as it is inefficient for cross-country, and not strong enough to handle more extreme terrain. Overall it is a great bike, especially considering its price. I have used it in a variety of terrain and weather conditions and it has never failed me. Even after several crashes it operates as though as I have just bought it. Very pleased with this purchase, didn't expect anything less from specialized.
