Good tires for their price

Specialized was not able to quote me a weight on this tire but said it was the same construction as the 26. The 26" version weights 660 Grams. The 29" Version is about 800. The 24" Version weighs over 800grams. WTH. Very unhappy. I'm trying to shed weight on my kids bike so we can do some real trail raiding and this weights more than what was on there. I guess I"m back to Schwalbe which is in the 600gr range. Even Scwhalbe's cheaper tires are lighter than this. I wold be OK with the weight if it was posted but its not and its clearly not the same casing as the 26" tire. These tires are great traction wise, But please update your website with correct weights, and please don't cheap out on tire construction just because its a kids tire. If I want a cheap kids tire for around town I'll go to Walmart and get a Kenda. Ordering from you direct I expect a better higher quality tire.

Good grippy tire. I put it on the front of my child’s mountain bike. It can be run at lower pressures than most for better grip.

Kids don't care about bikes so this is more for the parent. The wider griper tire will change the appearance of the normal bike. The tire doesn't come true to size 20x2.35 but 20x2.25; still above average. The quality is premium and at $14.99 it beats all other tires in the market. You will be satisfied with this tire just by the looks of it.
