While the real fun starts where the road ends, you still need a bike that'll get you there—one bike that shreds flowy singletrack, gravel, and traditional roads with equal authority. A more capable road bike won’t cut it, nor will a more road-worthy 'cross bike for that matter. No, you need a dedicated gravel bike like the Diverge. First and foremost, it's fun and always down for a good time, but with a progressively-tuned Future Shock, our fast and stable Open Road Geometry, and plenty of tire clearance, it redefines the possibilities for adventure on a drop-bar bike.

  • The Diverge has everything you need for pretty much any pedal-powered adventure—whether it's gravel racing, bikepacking, or weekend shredding. Our Premium E5 Aluminum frameset features our comfortable and confident Open Road Geometry, making it the ultimate tool for your next ride.

  • You can think of the Diverge's geometry as a road version of a modern trail bike. It provides playful handling and predictable steering for endless dirt skids and mid-corner drifts, but keeps stiffness up to snuff for your inner-racer. Along with a bottom bracket that's over a half-centimeter lower than the previous Diverge, we also slacked-out the head tube angle, shortened the chainstays, and made a shorter wheelbase. The result? A bike that performs equally well over both the dirt and road.

  • There's only so much that wider tires with lower pressures can absorb when it comes to bumps, but this is where our Future Shock comes into play. It not only soaks up bumps with ease, but it also adds the benefit of extremely predictable handling. That's because the wheelbase isn't lengthening when you hit a bump, so when you dive hard into a turn, you won't be surprised by under-steer or sloppy handling. The Diverge's version also gets a special treatment featuring a progressive spring that makes this technology more suitable for off-road applications, where stiffer suspension is often needed to soak-up larger bumps and obstacles.

Come una bici cambia la vita.

Pedalo 50km al giorno per andare al lavoro, su strade sconnesse secondarie e su sentieri ciclopedonali. Nel (poco) tempo libero girovago nei sentieri collinari. Sto bene.

J'ai mon diverge depuis 1 an je lui en ai fait voir de toute les couleurs et il ne m'a jamais déçu. Aussi à l'aise dans un peloton face à des vélos de route que pour doubler des vtt dans des sentiers ! Le seul point négatif est le manque de rigidité lié à la suspension futures shock lorsque qu'il faut sauter un obstacle par exemple mais cela reste un détail quand cette dernière absorbe toute les aspérités de la route !

Très bon vélo aussi bien sur route que dans les chemins. Légèrement plus lourd que certains concurrents mais très bon rendement.

This bike does everything

Tons of fun! I added a true suspension (not dropper post) seatpost, a larger crankset for added top end speed on the road and it rips! I ride over road debris I avoid when on my other road bikes so it feels faster!? Gives the Roubaix a run for the money.

Un très bon vélo, mais ...

Un vélo relativement léger (environ 11 kg) rapide à la relance et agréable à piloter sur la route comme sur les chemins. Mais il est fournit avec des pédales low-cost comme si tous les clients allaient forcément acheter des pédales automatiques haut de gamme en supplément. Le vendeur me propose des pédales qu'il me donne comme plus solides (des XLC de base à 15 euros) en remplacement des pédales en plastique fournies. Résultat un roulement de pédale mort après seulement 350 km (en utilisation normale)! D'autre part l'espace entre le haut du pneu avant et le bas du tube de direction est seulement de 1 cm ce qui fait que sur un chemin un peu gras cet espace s'engorge rapidement de terre et le vélo n'avance plus. C'est fort regrettable pour un vélo censé rouler sur des chemins. (il fallait que Specialized précise : à utiliser seulement sur chemins secs!) Pour finir, Specialized n'est pas en mesure de fournir de gardes-boue compatibles avec ce vélo malgré les vis intégrées au vélo qui sont sensées servir à cet usage! Et puis quand on demande l'installation d'une béquille on est pris pour un martien et cela semble une fois encore compliqué pour le revendeur. C'est embêtant pour un vélo de type gravel car ces accessoires peuvent se montrer très utiles. Enfin et pour conclure c'est un très bon vélo mais certains aspects sont négligés par le fabricant et le revendeur. C'est bien dommage!

Gutes Allroundrad

Lässt sich sehr gut fahren, ob Straße oder Gelände. Die Federung ist deutlich spürbar im Gelände und auf der Straße merkt man sie kaum, jedoch ein sehr angenehmes Fahrverhalten. Kann dieses Modell jedem der zwischen Rennrad und Mountainbike am entscheiden ist, dieses wärmstens empfehlen.
