Whether your goal is to escape on gravel back roads, far from cars and crowds, or drop the hammer at the front of your favorite gravel race, no bike does it better than the new Diverge. It's quite simply the fastest, most capable - and just maybe the most fun - bike we've ever made, delivering a ride that's quick and lively under power, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough. From Future Shock 1.5 and all-new gravel geometry, to category leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything we've learned over more than 40 years of riding road, gravel and dirt. The Diverge writes an entirely new chapter in the gravel bike category, so you can dream up entirely new rides. It's the ultimate getaway vehicle.

Gravel riding may be a 'new' sport, but our Diverge Sport Carbon has been developed thanks to over four decades of experience. It's got our Future Shock 1.5 and a FACT 8r carbon frame for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, in the dirt, and over thick gravel. With gravel inspired Shimano GRX 600 2x11 mechanical shifting and DT Swiss G540 wheels the Diverge Sport's as capable as it is versatile. With Kanza winning Pathfinder Pro 38mm tires, the same rubber we spec on the S-Works Diverge, you're ready to ride as fast and as far as you want.

  • With a FACT 8r carbon frame, the Diverge Sport frame is incredible capable and race bike light. Pin it for your local dirt climb KOM, or grind up a giant back country peak, the light and lively Diverge will get you there faster.

  • Speed, control and confidence - Future Shock 1.5 is ideal technology for the gravel rider. With 20mm of axial compliance, Future Shock 1.5 is progressively tuned specifically for gravel riding. This keeps you confident and in control, able to keep the power down and stay off the brakes over rough dirt roads and in thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh.

  • We tossed gravel geometry ‘status-quo’ out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we’ve ever created for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike in the dirt, that still feels responsive and nimble on the road. We’ve increased the frame’s reach, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All this creates incredible confidence with a planted feeling in the dirt, while spec’ing shorter stems keeps the overall cockpit length the same and the steering lively. We’ve kept the bike’s BB low to increase stability, but high enough to utilize with 650b wheels if that’s your jam.

  • We’ve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out.

  • Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive side chain stay utilizing a solid beam of carbon behind the chain rings we’ve created clearance without using a fragile dropped chain stay design or increasing chain stay length.

I love this bike

This is the most comfortable bike I've ever owned. I've put 1500+ miles on this since April 2021 on single, double track, and paved roads. It is very responsive and a joy to ride.

Great gravel rider. Improved from previous Diverge for non-scs wheels and tire clearance. Approve.

Great do-everything bike

The geometry, the GRX components, and versatility of this bike is just what I was looking for. I've put 500 miles on the bike in a little over 6 weeks and it has been a dream ride. I was initially skeptical about the futureshock, but after riding a Roubaix for a week, I grew to like the extra cushioning, esp. since my wrists and hands are prone to numbness or discomfort on long rides. The GRX brakes are amazing, and the whole system is more versatile than a 1X for the combination road, gravel or singletrack riding I do. I swap to a lighter wheelset with lighter tires (ROVAL wheels with 700X32 roubaix) for road rides and keep up with the group rides just fine. Could be lighter? Otherwise, suits me perfectly.

Finally a bike that can do everything and can take anything!

I had a 2019 Diverge comp E5 and really loved the futureshock. I upgraded to the 2021 Diverge Sport Carbon and this is an absolute beauty for the finish and a beast on the road or gravel. Really love the clutch on the RD which prevents the chain slap. The GRX groupset is amazing. Super wide range of gears. The hyd disc brake is amazing. I have a Tektro hyd disc brake on a Giant MTB and the one on this bike is fantastic. Super responsive and reliable braking. Love the carbon chain stay protector. Overall amazing bike and worth every penny.

Melhor Bike que já tive!

Bike excelente, fiz Mogi a Aparecida acompanhando 22 MTB e não deixou nada a desejar, pelo contrário, estradões e subidas anda muito melhor que as MTB, sem citar os trechos de asfalto.

2021 specialized diverg sport carbon

Being a 65 year old biker, Road mountain triathlete (ex) with a superior weight condition (245 pounds) with eyesight that makes me dangerous on technical downhill I have found my new heaven on a bike. Downhill cruising, I am marginally slower than when on my fancy tri bike with expensive enve wheels. The difference being that I am so much more confident especially with the disc brakes. No more dodging the various things that could cause a flat or broken wheel or fall. I have ridden about 150 miles over that past few weeks on roads, bike paths and gravel roads. I have also taken a chance and tackled some well known Singletracks. Meadows in Aliso woods. That was a bit exhausting because I did not know the limits of the bike. On my mtb I would fly down this trail but I took three times longer. The bikes geometry and brakes saved me from a few novice spills tho. I slid down the steep sections which I believe would be solve with with more tread, All round, I love everything about the bike but will be putting a more comfy seat on.
