Unrivaled suspension kinematics, sublime handling, perfectly-tuned frame stiffness—the Stumpjumper Comp is our fully featured, fully affordable, full-carbon, definitive trail bike. All-new geometry, all-new suspension, thoughtfully spec’d - it’s ready to take you wherever the trail may lead.

  • THE TRAIL BENCHMARK — When we set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, we pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, we went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively, geometry that improves everyone’s riding, and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper.

  • THE SWEETEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU’LL EVER RIDE — We massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor.

  • PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY — The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It’s long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you’re able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose.

  • RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™ — Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you’re a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you’ll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight, And by light, we mean real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock).

  • SWAT™ — When we introduced the SWAT™ door on the Stumpjumper in 2016, we increased pocket space, and added room for those “oh s**t” pumps and flat accessories. With the new Stumpjumper, we’ve kept those same design hallmarks that you know and love.

Ottima bici.

Superb trail bike for most UK riding

Having pushed my 9kg carbon XC Hardtail to its limit on long rocky descents in the Cairngorms I bought this bike after a lot of shopping about in S4 size. I’m 5’9” and it fits like a glove. My biggest concern moving from a lightweight XC hardtail was the bike would bob on long steep climbs which I enjoy, but I’ve been amazed how smooth and stable the bike is even when pumping the pedals hard uphill - it glides uphill and floats downhill, it’s seriously impressive. I’ve been able to accelerate the bike over terrain that would make my wrists feel like jelly on my hardtail and not back off, it’s brilliant to ride. I knew the weight would be a potential issue and it feels heavier uphill but I’m happy for that trade off given its so capable on anything approach enduro bike terrain and has perfect balance when throwing it into berms and corners. I’m very very impressed with this bike, and the build quality is excellent.

So much yes

This is my first full suspension bike. I've always ridden hard tails and put them through the paces. Now, I'm mad I didn't get a full suspension bike sooner! This bike handles wonderfully and is capable of anything that I'm willing to try. There's a reason the Stumpjumper has been around for so long. Also, it's worth every penny to get the carbon frame!

FUN!!!

I've had several bikes. None have been this fun. Everything about this bike has really impressed me after about 75 miles of western PA single-track. If you ride that type of terrain, this is an excellent choice.

Perfect bike for the 90 percentile

This is the bike that 90% of mountain bikers should be riding. It can handle everything from steep technical trails to big mountain epics. The geometry of this bike is fantastic and makes it feel like you have much more travel that the numbers suggest. The bike is stable at speeds but it also playful if you want it to be. If you aren't racing enduro or riding bike parks this is the bike you should buy. Great spec to cost (for specialized).

Un bijou de précision

Le meilleur Bike que j'aie eu. Hyper joueur. Des relances incroyables. La cinématique alliée aux Fox est géniale. Je suis également agréablement surpris des pneumatiques (habitué aux Maxxis) Le vélo Trail / All mountain par excellence.

Perfect price point

I have had it for a few weeks now and have no complaints, it climbs like a beast and descends like a dh bike. The SLX drivetrain is so dialed and i am presently surprised with the value. So stoked to be riding this bike.

First ride; Stump Jumper Comp

Just did My first ride on a trail I am used to riding here in the San Francisco East Bay on my Brand new 2021 Stump Jumper Comp just purchased December 27th 2020 . First up are the 29 inch tires which really felt like they rolled over every thing, and I rolled over terrain that was rougher on sections I am used to riding. Next was the drivetrain. Just felt great to have that 1X12 working, shifting was precise and smooth. Descending was superb though I have my old bike""s suspension tuned just the way I like it riding downhill sections, this bike felt super tight and solid descending.I'll fine tune the suspension once I get into the manual and see if I can tweak the settings just right for my weight and riding style. I looked at many bikes online and on Youtube reviews and these new set of Jumpers looked like they needed a closer look. They happened to have one in stock that I was able to test ride instead of considering a mail order bike, I went with Local and glad i did. A free service comes with the bike as well as warranty so being close is better in my case. I don't wrench on bikes.
