We deliver! Just say when and how.

Simplicity

Simplicity

STATUS 2 140 was designed to be dead simple and ready to deliver, regardless of terrain. The Ride Dynamics team developed the kinematics and dialed in the geo to deliver a snappy, poppy bike that’s at home on both technical singletrack or gapping a set of stairs.

Durability

Durability

Each build starts with a super strong M5 alloy chassis and tough alloy wheels. Stout suspension, powerful brakes, and popular drivetrain options round out these builds to catch big hits, pedal smooth, and provide a ton of stoppage.

Ride Quality

Ride Quality

With updated, aggressive trail geometry and impressively short but scaling chainstays, STATUS 2 140 is flat-out fun on all terrain. There’s plenty of composure when you need it and the freedom to do your thing when you want it.

STATUS 2 finds the boundaries of mountain bikes and pushes past them. Is it a trail bike? Yes. Park bike? Yep. Cruise to the convenience store and stop for a stealth session on a concrete wall ride? Oh yeah. STATUS 2 is a bike meant to be ridden, however or wherever you ride.

Whether you are on the trails, at the bike park, in the streets, or just cutting turns with your friends on a local hill, the STATUS 2 will allow you to ride your way.

BUILT BY RIDERS: Each build starts with a super strong M5 alloy chassis and tough alloy wheels. Stout suspension, powerful brakes, and popular drivetrain options round out these builds to catch big hits, pedal smooth, and provide a ton of stoppage. It’s not for the gram counter—it’s for those riders who push the boundaries of progression and come back for more.

RIDE DYNAMICS TUNED: Before showing up at your doorstep or local bike shop, each STATUS 2 gets a special shock tune from our Specialized Ride Dynamics team—a group that eats, sleeps, and breathes mountain bike suspension. The characteristics of the shock are designed to complement the kinematics of the new STATUS 2 perfectly.

LET’S GET PERSONAL: Each model of STATUS 2 features neatly packaged flip chips (located on the Horst pivot link, close to the rear axle) that allow the rider to finely tune the frame’s geometry to their desired ride or terrain. Bikes ship in the high position but can be ‘flipped’ to lower and slacker—8 mm lower bottom bracket and half a degree slacker head tube angle.

  • 100% Redesigned durable alloy chassis

  • New, more durable alloy rims

  • Horst Link geometry adjust flip chip

  • Updated geometry for more usability

  • Curated parts spec for your desired ride experience

This bike LOVES to jump!

This bike is not trying to be everything to everyone. It is not lightweight, it is not "super playful", and it isn't the best rock garden smasher. It IS however, an extremely good bike with a well rounded build kit that CAN ride just about anything. I have found that it excels at hitting jumps and going fast downhill. The choices made for the build were fantastic, in general. Great brakes, solid drivetrain, good tires and nice cockpit choices. All this at a price that makes a lot of sense. Well done!

amazing

I bought this bike as a fun, playful trail bike, but there have only been a few bikes I have gotten on that feel natural to ride. This is one of them. This bike is wild. I have been pushing it harder and harder, and it holds its own in climbing. It isn't as good as some other bikes I have ridden, but it's not bad. It gets a bit sketchy on large drops but I understand it's probably not designed for that. All the components are solid. I've never owned Shimano 12spd before but it works a bit of chain slap but not bad. The brakes are amazing the trail evos are more than enough on steep tech. Suspension is alright the shock doesn't have a lockout but other than that it works fine for my aggressive riding. The big dropper is nice on my s5 it gets out of the way and works great.
