Loving the Sirrus 1.0

Just recently bought the 1.0 and I am loving every bit of it! I've been putting it to the test and this thing can handle dirt, gravel, bumpy city streets, and pretty much everything you throw at it (within reason). Solid bike and with the internal cable routing, it looks as good as it runs.

The Sirrus 1.0 is really a great fitness bicycle

59 year old that recently sold a vintage road racing bike. Couldn't ride it anymore, literally a pain in the neck. Missed cycling. So I decided to get a Specialized Sirrus bike, but which one? The Sirrus line is either Aluminum or carbon. I decided to dip the toe in the water with the 1.0. I don't do gravel, so no X model. I'm in love. The fitness style upright geometry is super comfortable. I can see where I'm going (a plus). I love that the brakes and shift levers are all one unit for a clean cockpit. The ride is so much better than I would have imagined. The bike feels lively and fun. It seems very well made. Mostly Shimano components on this one. They work very well together. Shifts are immediate and crisp. Braking is very good with the rim brakes. I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing I'm changing are the pedals. I'm going back to a clip-less (clipped in) pedal, as my feel slip off when pedaling down hill. Thats a personal preference. Most beginners will be fine with the supplied pedals. I'm 6'2"". I got the XL size. Went to Hilltop Bicycles in Summit. They were great.

Awesome bike. Would Recommend.

*I own the Sirrus 1.0 Single Speed* I wanted a good entry-level bike that has the ability to be a commuter and fitness bike. This bike checks those boxes. Looks clean, feels very comfortable to ride. I am 5'4 so I got a size small, feels great! Would Recommend!
