2021 Chisel

I rode my first cross country race season on this bike. It is spectacularly light which helps fly uphill and maintain momentum when terrain switches uphill. Riding a hard tail also requires certain skills on the downhill that become very useful when a rider is more experienced and switches to full sus. I would recommend this bike for beginner or intermediate level cross country bikers. The price is great, too!

Una bici que puede verse demasiado sencilla, pero su mayor fortaleza para mi fue eso. La geometría es increíble y se adapta perfecto al cuerpo, siento que la he tenido por mucho tiempo. Lo único que le puse fue un drop post. En el futuro un upgrade de la transmisión. Siendo rígida tiene fluidez, vale la pena probarla.

I come from a 29 wheel full suspension bike. I've had the Chisel for a month and I've done a little bit of everything, road, dirt, mountain and single tracks. I really like its angle of attack on the descents, its lightness, speed and agility. I like the braking power and the ease and precision of the gears. For the price I think it was the best bike I've had so far. I just don't like the original tires on more slippery surfaces (dirt and stone), they don't have the necessary grip to be able to progress successfully and safely.

Cunado la vi, no me gusto el color... pero ahora amo a mi berry, es una bici espectacular, muy ligera en las subidas y una flecha bajando, es muy maniobrable. Me encanta. Cristiánj

Probé una versión anterior y me enamoré, esta Chisel es simplemente Genial es firme, ligera y da la seguridad para tomar las rutas q se te ocurran. De acceder a una de ellas, hagánlo sin dudas!!!

How this bike does not get more press is beyond me. Seriously one of the best bargain priced for geometry and all around do anything bike. One of the best platforms that you can build on to whatever level you prefer. The head angle is just slack enough to be light and nimble and still stable when necessary. I actually chose this over this Stumpjumper due to how much fun it was the moment I took it for a test ride. Seriously, Great job. (Slow hand clap👏) Thanks, Steve in Ankeny

La supe sorprendió se ching casi a la zorra dicen que después del primer mantenimiento no es igual sería probar … esta pesadita pero si avanza en los repechos de xc Baja Solida sin drop no hay diversión falta integrarlo loas aros SIN MARCA son ligeros los frenos sin críticas los plantones de luxe soy wahoo

Compré la Chisel con cierta duda… sin embargo, estoy gratamente sorprendida. La he llevado en cuestas y trepa súper bien, es recontra ligera, en terrenos de mucha trocha, rocas, arena, montaña y es de fácil maniobra, responde muy bien en competencia! Ame mi Chisel!

Parecía un modelo convencional, al fijarme detenidamente el cuadro tiene un diseño agudo ágil y muy liviano se ajusta como un guante al cuerpo para maniobrar. Una excelente bici !

I waited a long time for this bike to come in stock and it was well worth the wait. I upgraded from a 26 Rockhopper to the Chisel and it is so fast and has great components. I ordered a dropper seat but everything else is stock. Love the ride and weight of the bike.

Troquei uma Scott scale pela chisel,a Scott é uma ótima bike,mas a chisel está alguns degraus acima, não me arrependo da troca

TENHO UMA CHISEL E ESTOU CONTENTE POIS A BIKE É DE ALTO NÍVEL! SEMPRE QUE ME QUESTIONAM SOBRE COMPRAR UMA BIKE, RESPONDO DE IMEDIATO: VAI DE CHISEL QUE VOCE VAI SE SURPREENDER. A BIKE É UMA MÁQUINA!!!

Great bike. Upgraded brakes to M6120 and a One-up dropper and it's a high speed, low budget race machine. Very responsive and good modern geo! As to the cracking noises - mine suffered from this issue and it was traced to the pressed in headset cups. Drove me mad, and I swore it was the welds too, until these were pressed out by LBS, regreased and pressed back in again. The thin walls from this frame make small noises amplify to very loud and all over the frame.

Estava muito em dúvida na troca da bike, acertei na troca muito top essa bike, geometria fantástica

Yo quería compra una Epic, pero por la pandemia no hay existencia me ofrecieron una chisel y con poco entusiasmo la acepte y la verdad me sorprendió mucho el cuadro es ligero y de una geometría muy cómoda y grupo shimano deore trabaja muy bien. En resumen es una muy buena base que se puede mejorara en componentes o mantenerla así, no desilusiona muy recomendable.

Eu tinha uma Rockhooper Comp, troquei pela Chisel, foi como sair de um Uno para uma BMW. Bike sensacional!!!

Came from a 2020 Rockhopper Comp 1x to the Chisel, and WOW...what a HUGE difference! This bike is light, and responsive! Super efficient on the climbs, nimble in the technical stuff, and compliant and fast downhill. Its a perfect all around.

Indiscutível a melhor entre as alumínios.

The slacker head angle let's you really attack the trailers for an xc bike. Once you put a dropper post it makes an amazing, light, fun all mountain bike! Great quality on grips, wheels and tires. Tires are 10,s on dry stuff, rocks, and roots, but they are 4/10 when things get wet. All around I feel good value for what looks to be an extraordinary reliable rig!

This bike is fairly decent for almost anything you throw at it. I have already ridden a few blacks on it and it handled the technical bits quite well for an XC bike. I would recommend to upgrade the cranks, saddle, and tires though.

Got this in Glossy Raspberry and loving the color. Really love the range of gears, helps with those tough climbs. Surprisingly light for a 29er. But for the price I payed was really disappointed it didn't come with a dropper post, that's why it only got 4 out 5 stars, besides that I really love the bike.

Troquei minha oggi por uma Chisel a diferença foi brutal. Acertei na troca.
