S-Works Renegade 2Bliss Ready T5/T7

Today I received my new S Works tires, mine came at 629g, very light!

Just received my tire today. Looks pretty nice and it looks like it will be very fast. I’ve got it installed on my bike already. I did weigh it and it did not weigh 590 g Like advertised, mine came at 720 g. I was hoping to shave a good half pound per tire off of my bike this way. But this is not as light as it is says it is.

I've tried them all... Aspen, Recon Race, Racing Ralph/Ray, Mezcal, Race Kings. I don't know what is is, but the Renegade simply has better grip. Considerably better.

Montage en 2.35 avant et arrière, c'est parfait pour du XC bien roulant sur terrain "facile". Le pneu est très dynamique, silencieux, bonne traction sur sol dur, un peu meuble et un peu humide. Très agréablement surpris par le comportement du pneu en montage avant, la direction est très vive, l'accroche latérale n'est pas si mal (a réserver tout de même à un usage roulant, pour vttiste un peu averti). Pneu pesé à 638g. Attention à ne pas s'aventurer sur terrain agressif, les flancs sont très fragiles (pas de miracle vu le poids).

je viens de faire monter ce pneu en 2.2 super agréable léger bonne bande de roulement accroche augmentée par rapport au model d avant il y a juste un petit défaut de de roulement comme un Volle sur le dessus du pneu a voir s il va se mettre en place ou si c un vrai défaut de stockage ( pliure des sa boite) affairer a suivre

658 grams. Whole reason I bought it was because it’s supposed to be 590 grams. My S-WORKS Fast Trak was 614 grams.

Like another reviewer, my 29x2.35 S-works Renegade is more than 60 grams heavier than the claimed weight. It's weighing in at 652 grams. A Specialized rep said it's due to the molding dies wearing out and allowing too much rubber to be injected.

Grippy, light weight tires. Love them for SoCal trails.

I've just received the tire in 2.35 size and it's 60 gr above the declared weight :) @Specialized: why do you even bother putting this info there when it's clear the real weight of your tires is just random?

Great tires for XC!

Net zoals de vorige versies van de Renegade is dit een snelle band, die toch voldoende grip biedt bij lichte modder enz. De 2.35" versie komt ook daadwerkelijk op 59,6mm uit, dus hij is lekker breed. Maar er één grote teleurstelling en dat is het gewicht: ik kom op 685 gram uit, terwijl 590 beloofd wordt... Dat er iets of wat afwijking kan zijn, dat begrijp ik, maar dit is er zwaar over. Ook op websites van online shops die deze band verkopen wordt melding gemaakt van een hoger gewicht (630 tot 660 gram...)

Band is eenvoudig te monteren en direct luchtdicht met 60ml latex. Gewicht klopt echter niet, de band weegt 660 gram in 2.35 s-works uitvoering en is zelfs zwaarder dan de Fasttrak die ik als voorband erbij heb gekocht. Verder prima band voor NL.

These are great tyres proper grippy and get hold in the corners.

635 and 637 grams for the two I bought. The 29x2.35 Control Renegade T7 I bought weighed 710 grams, heavier than a 2.4 aspen.

Can’t ride ‘til spring, bad crash in Oct. damaged optic nerve, double vision now, hope to ride MTB in spring, my last renegades were awesome these look like twice the tire, 2021 Epic EVO has the new Fast Tracks need the renegade for the rear, lighter, faster gonna be a great combo, can’t wait!!!
