The Rockhopper’s M4 manipulated alloy frame is fully butted, with an ORE down tube for added strength at minimum weight.
The RockShox Tora 302 SL fork features 100mm of coil-sprung travel (with lockout) and external rebound and preload adjustments for easy fine-tuning.
Avid’s SD3 linear-pull “V” brakes offer precise, one-finger stopping power.
Shimano’s new Deore SLX derailleur handles the rear shifting duties, its Shadow design means it stays tucked out of the way.
The triple-chainring crankset utilizes Shimano’s Octalink-splined bottom-bracket interface for highly efficient power transfer.
Alex RHD disc-specific rims are double-walled and eyeleted for strength.
The high-volume Specialized Fast Trak Sport 26x2.0-inch tires have a reduced knob height for lower rolling resistance, without giving up an ounce of traction.
