We designed the Turbo Levo Comp to be a proper trail bike, first and foremost. It takes geo, kinematics, and design cues from our newest trail bikes, like the Stumpjumper, and adds industry-leading tech that gives you the power to ride more trails. New motor? Check. New battery? Check. Incredibly lightweight and capable chassis? Check and double-check.

ROWDY DESCENTS. STEEP CLIMBS? HELL. YES.

The Turbo Levo is a fully-fledged progressive trail bike. We’ve lengthened the reach, kept the chainstays nice and short, and maintained a low center of gravity. Next, we slackened the head angle for more confident descents and steepened the seat angle to improve climbing efficiency. It’s dialed.

MORE POWER, MORE RANGE

The Levo’s Specialized 2.1 motor amplifies your pedaling input by a mind blowing 410%. Our M2 batteries provides you with plenty of range. What’s more, our Mission Control App can handle battery management automatically, ensuring your battery will last as long as you need it to. More power. More miles per ride. More awesome.

• M5 alloy Sidearm frame offers outstanding ride quality and control.

• Smoothest, most powerful motor on the market.

• 160mm travel Fox Float 36 Rythm fork.

  • The Levo’s frame features an M5 alloy front- and rear-end, an asymmetrical design, and our 29 Trail Geometry, so it's just the right amount of both capable and comfortable. We designed this bike to shred and that meant giving the Levo a low bottom bracket, lengthy top tube, and short chainstays. We also tweaked the kinematics of the frame to make the suspension more supple on small hits and yet perfectly capable of taking the big impacts without bottoming out.

  • The custom Specialized 2.1 motor represents the pinnacle of e-bike motor technology. The new motor is more efficient, 15% smaller, and 11% lighter than its predecessor. It has many other features that no other e-bike can touch, like instant engagement, fantastic heat management, a double freewheel design that disengages the gear box when you hit top speed, and silent, smooth, and consistent output—even at max power.

  • The Levo’s Turbo Connect Unit (or “TCU”) is more than an “On-Off” button—it’s the brains of the bike. The TCU shows your battery level and power-assist mode. It also communicates, via ANT+/Bluetooth®, with our optional handlebar display to display even more information about your day’s ride.

  • This Turbo’s new Specialized M2-series battery features a 700Wh capacity, which increases your range by a staggering 40%. We integrated that battery seamlessly inside the frame and made it easy to remove with a single hex wrench.

First ebike purchase

This bike has been everything I could've imagined. 6 months in now and really liking the experience. The battery life is awesome and the suspension when tuned is great. I'm riding trails I never had the energy to reach before. So far overall this has been a game changer for me. I'm in my mid 50's and simply don't have the time to devote to riding and conditioning like I have in the past. This allows me to still enjoy being in the woods with my buddies without the anxiety of killer climbs and falling behind. It's heavier than analogs but a small price to pay!

Fantastic bike .

everything was awesome except I thought the rear shock was a little low end for a heavier rider like myself . Went Ohlin coil and its perfect.

This bike is newfound freedom.

I can't say enough good things about this bike. I am now able to go up steep grades which I was never able to go up before. The suspension is like floating on air. Everything about this bike is what I had hoped and dreamed of. Thanks to Electric Bike Rentals in San Diego for having my color (red). Time to retire my reliable and trusty 20-year old Gary Fisher. A new day is dawning..

Most fun I've ever had on any bike I've ridden over 25 years

I have been extremely satisfied and delighted to ride my Turbo Levo more than I wrote my Kona 10 years ago & my GF HiFi! You see I'm disabled and unfortunately I cannot ride in the mountains ( where I belong) without some assistance! This is the best bike & the most fun I've ever had! Don't wait - buy if possible

2021 Levo Comp aluminum

I'm 55 and have been riding my local trails for 20+ years. Am healthy and fit, so didn't ""need"" this bike, but bought it in addition to my regular MTB, because I was getting bored riding the same trails all the time. This thing is a load of fun and lets me explore areas of the huge state park I live next to, that were just too far on my regular bike. When riding new areas, no need to fear long downhills into unknown areas - you can just crank up the power and climb back out easily. Normal rides on this are 2-3 hours with 3000-4000 feet of climbing (using mostly eco & trail modes, and full power only up the super steep stuff), and the battery hasn't dropped below 40% yet. Plus, it's quiet and the look doesn't scream ""e-bike"". Love it for exploring, but too heavy for me to jump. Great for a second bike, but if you are going to make an eMTB your only bike, you might want to consider the SL.

Great bike, meh components

I love everything about this bike, I think the dropper, wheels, forks and shock are bottom of the barrel for as much as this thing costs. The rear shock is a must upgrade. In stock form it's not a pleasant ride.

Awesome bike!

I compared to direct-to-consumer bikes among other name brands. Test rode the TLC and was immediately sold. It's now dialed in and incredibly fun. I tell my friends it's like a Ferrari on the trails. I loved it so much I bought my wife one. Absolutely no regrets not getting another brand.

LOVE THIS BIKE!!!

You read stories of guys giggling because of this bike. It is true. Simply awesome and worth the higher price tag. The ride is amazing! The power is intoxicating. I equate it to a range rover bike equivalent. Some reviews talk about this bike not doing well on steep declines - not true. You can soften the back and this bike handles the steep terrain with security. You can't go wrong with this bike!! This review is more about why NOT to BUY OTHER bikes, especially direct to consumer bikes. Had one, and while on a simple trail ride, bike's e-system started failing. After three months of going back and forth, and the other company sending me random parts that did not work (and me spending hours installing), ultimately gave up. BE VERY CAREFUL. You might save a buck, but what happens when the bike fails? When I called one of the companies that sell a similar bike (about 1g less) to inquire about their warranty, they told me that all the electronics were covered directly by the manufacturer. Huh? So if the motor fails you have to deal with Shimano directly. If other part fails then deal with other company. If you don't know what failed, then you are S_L. You might think you are being really smart by saving money and buying from the other companies, but definitely NOT worth it. The folks at specialized are wonderful! The support fantastic! At the end of the day, you know they will have your back if anything happens to the bike.

Great bike but not happy with some components

I bought my TLC Oct. 2020 based upon reviews and Specialized's reputation. SO much of this bike is great, but unfortunately the chain broke on my 6th ride when I was far from my vehicle. I had put maybe 300 miles of moderate riding on it and was told by the Mike's Bike's rep that the chain was not covered by Specialized's warranty. I has to order a specific E-bike chain for $80 and have waited over three weeks for it to arrive so as to get back into action. My e-mail request for assistance to Specialized has gone unanswered. I am disappointed that such a crucial component of this significant investment seems to be a weak link (sorry for the pun) and inferior part of the overall great package.

Love this bike!!

I'm 55 and an ex-motocross rider. This bike is a beast and is definitely the next best thing to throwing your leg over a 450R. You can climb any hill with no problem, jump anything and go lap after lap after lap. Some call it cheating, but you still have to pedal and you still get an awesome workout! You don't see anymore two strokes in the motocross races do you? no you don't because the sport has evolved and so has the mountain bike industry. You wont regret buying one and when everyone else is ready to quit for the day, you'll still be putting in laps!!

Be aware small size has frame bump stops for forks

No issue with the bike, but be aware the small frame size has a bump stop for preventing the fork hitting the down tube. It doesn't affect the riding but does affect loading into a car, turning sharp corners, maundering bike in tight spaces generally. Bump stop not shown in website images.

I would buy again and definitely recommend to anyone looking

At near 70 years old ...I'm back...knocks hills down flat when needed, let's me keep up with the young guys and lead when I want...such smooth suspension and precision handling...let's me ride longer and farther. A little adjustment to handing due to weight but after about a 50 miles of trail now it's no longer a second thought. As I get the bike more dialed in the better it is...my Dad always told me""It only costs a little extra to go 1st class"" so glad I stepped up a bit, now I know there's nothing more I need. Love the Spruce color never looks dirty or dusty. Shout out to Scott at Bike Masters in NE Mesa, Az. He brought me up to speed on products available and helped me make a great decision. So glad I was actually able to find one in stock, just built, and get to take it home. If you can't find one, order it, you'll be happy. Stay safe, stay well, to all.
