The Turbo Como 2.0 Low-Entry 650b has one goal and one goal only—to inspire you to get out, get moving, and to have some fun along the way. It achieves this with its Turbo technology that makes the ride faster, so you're guaranteed to have a wide smile on your face.

Beginning with a completely redesigned and integrated Specialized 1.2 motor, the Como 2.0 proves itself as the fastest, most comfortable urban bike you've ever perched yourself upon. First off, our proprietary Rx Street Tune takes the power of a belt-driven motor that's smooth, silent, and free of annoying vibrations, and makes it optimized for riding in an urban environment by reacting to the amount of force you apply to the pedals. Think of it this way: The more power you put out, the more power the motor puts out, and this makes accelerations from a standstill both quick and efficient. Perfect.

We also developed a custom Specialized U1-460 battery that seamlessly integrates into the frame, plus it's lockable and easily removable for simplified charging. With this battery, the Turbo Como delivers some extra "oomph," with plenty of juice to accompany you on your cruise down the bike path, a trip to the grocery store, or even to that new café on the other side of the city.

We also developed a custom 2.2-inch smart computer that lets you view your battery level and toggle various ride metrics such as speed, distance, and time. You can also peruse these screens via the custom handlebar remote without ever removing your hands from the bars.

The 650b wheels have also been paired with 2.3-inch tires, so it can roll over most cracks, bumps, and holes with ease to ensure that nothing stands in your way on your path to a good time. For the build, you'll find everything you need to get out and enjoy the sunshine, comfortably and worry free. Along these lines, there are powerful Tektro hydraulic disc brakes, reliable 9-speed Shimano shifting, and a comfortable saddle.

  • The custom E5 aluminum frame on the Como, cleanly houses the battery and motor, while still keeping the lightweight properties that E5 is known for. Pair this with our Ground Control Geometry, and you have a durable and lightweight bike that'll keep you rolling in style.

  • The Como’s motor is fully integrated with the frame and features a smooth, silent, vibration-free output. It's also been custom-tuned for city riding, and it intuitively reacts to the force of your pedaling—so the harder you pedal, the more power it delivers. And with an internal belt drive design, it does this without added vibration for the smoothest and most silent ride possible.

  • We made the custom U1-460 battery to be fully integrated with the frame, removable for easy charging, and lockable for added security. It communicates with the display and has multiple modes to maximize the overall efficiency and range.

Lost a lot of respect for Specialized.

My wife bought the bike 3 years ago. Loves it. Until 2 weeks ago. Spezialized weird proprietary battery charging let us down. The charger's battery connector is magnetic, so one day it picked up a tiny metal staple from the garage floor.. We didnt notice and when we plugged it in, it fused to the battery connectors. Now after removiing the staple, it will not charge anymore. The batttery terminals are probably damaged so it will not accept charge. The store we bought it from, analyzed the battery, it is 100% healthy, but they said there is no way to fix it, so we have to buy a new battery for thousand bucks! Painfull experience, not happy camper here. I guess the moral of the story, make sure your battery connectors are clean before you plug it in to charge....

This bike is like riding with the wind always at your back!

I ride this bike on woodland rail trails. It is a real joy to ride. I still get plenty of exercise with pedaling, but the gentle push from the ebike brings the fun back to riding for me. I literally find myself grinning like a kid when I am riding! The power has a smooth and natural feel. When I kick in the turbo, my husband says it looks like the universe is expanding, as I pedal the same but zoom forward, leaving him in the dust! Seriously, this bike opened up lots of new recreational options for us, especially during the pandemic. (It's easy to have fun while social distancing on a rail trail.) I'm over 60 and easily ride over 20 miles with over half the battery power left over. The bike is comfortable, I've gotten lots of compliments and questions about it.

Makes me outrun the local Bike Robbery Gang

After 4 weeks of local town riding and 3 long distance bicycle trails, I have 265 miles on my Como 2.0. Steep hills, tropical force headwinds, lots of cross country fast rides, etc. I did 55.6 miles last Saturday on the Withlachoochie trail from Inverness Florida. Only the most hard core racers passed me straining with effort. I often turn off the power for flats and downhills because it isn't needed. I mainly needed the power assist for hills that might strain my 66 year old knees. Two Saturdays ago, an organized bike robbery gang in a bad neighborhood off the trail tried to get me with a barricade across the bike trail. They wanted my Como more than any other bike that passed their watch point for the whole day. They setup a team at a rest area to assess bikes Northbound for resale value, then post a lookout to alert the team when the rider comes back Southbound. I spotted them, did a U-turn and punched to full power. They were young 20 year olds and had no chance to catch me at 20 mph. I get about 46 miles on Eco mode per charge. More with power conservation on flats and downhills. 195 lbs, 6'-3"" and 66 year old male who applied the Heart Failure Recovery plan to restore my heart back to normal with bicycling. This bike extends my range and cardiovascular output more than a conventional belt drive urban bike.

I would buy the Como 2.0 again, and again ...

... fortunately, I don't have to - but I might have two! This Como 2.0 is a great ride. After 2 years, I purchased an additional battery and love taking those 40 mile each way trails. I am a huge fan of Specialized and my LBS.

So happy with my purchase!

After testing and riding 5 different electric bikes from various shops, I purchased this bike a few weeks ago from a local bike shop. It not only does great on hills, it delivers a very smooth ride that completely out-performs all the others. Some of the others I tried weren't as seamless when it came to the pedal assist, and really just couldn't compare to what I can only describe as a smoothness to the ride. At first I wasn't sure how I would like the thicker tires, but after doing several rides on busier streets that have bike lanes, I'm so grateful for the bigger tires! The bigger tires handle the small potholes and deep grooves in the pavement well and I don't fear losing my balance the way I would if the tires were thinner. I wish the battery life were a little bit longer, but it will be more than I need as I will not likely be ever doing more than 25 miles in one ride. I did a 20 mile ride 2 weeks ago that included a lot of big hills through Percy Warner Park and I still had about 1.5 bars of battery remaining afterward. Overall, I'm VERY happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend. You won't be disappointed!

This bike is perfect for me

I have tried a dozen or so ebikes before chosen the Como. Got to say this was the one for me. I love the torque, the standing position, the quietness, the tube tires. I love to ride close to 20 mph which I can do at level 3 or 4 without effort. Close to 35 miles without charging the battery yet. Specialized creates and design here a marvelous ebike.

I LOVE riding again!!

I have to thank Specialized for this bike! I have had a bad lower back for over 20 years and unable to ride without pain. (Usually riding 1 time a year, ending in pain and choosing not to ride again) Bought my Como 2.0 May '19.... it is mid June and I have 125 miles on it already! So happy I bought this bike!!

I'm 69 yrs old and this is a great bike

My wife and I both got the specialized Como bikes and have had them for about a month, during which we had a family get together. Everyone who rode the bikes loved them. We have some steep hills in town and get strong winds so riding is usually a chore. These bikes have brought back the fun of riding. We put rear racks on them with Panniers a do our grocery shopping. a great bike

I love this bike and would recommend it to anyone.

I ride about four days per week, usually 30 to 35 miles/day. I've had my ebike over a year and love it. It inspires me to stay fit, especially since I am 71 years old. My goal is to ride 5,000 miles this year. I also have a bad lower back and riding really helps.

One test ride=Hooked

Took one test ride and couldn't resist owing it. I don't regret my choice. It rates 5 stars but the Mission Control software is no where to be found.
