This is a three-position training wheel system, with tool-less installation and removal, so you're always the hero without so much as a screwdriver. Reinforcing this, the tubular steel arms are built to take a beating, while the foam tires will never go flat.

  • Tool-less, 3-position training wheel installation/removal system.

  • Closed-cell foam tires.

  • Tubular steel arms.

Do not buy

As with the other reviews ... these training wheels do not fit on the Rip Rock 20 Coaster. Additionally, in their lowest setting they do not touch the ground. Major disappointment from Specialized.

Buy 8mm cap bolt and solve the problem with the knobs

I read all the reviews and knew the knobs wouldn't fit but there's a review by John that said get 8mm cap bolts and that's what I did. A 2 pack of 8mm cap bolts solved the problem no sweat. The bolts only cost about $2.00 with tax from the big box hardware store and installation was a quick 10 minutes. Once the bolts were on my daughter's bike she was riding and very happy as was I. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff. Spend the $2.00 solve the problem and be happy 😊

Are you kidding me?

Doesn't fit the on the 20"" frame without having to go to the store and buying bolts. Not cool!

Great wheels, pick up two 8mm cap screws to mount them.

Great wheels, great idea for seperating from rear hub mount, but poor execution on the hardware/knob, it doesn't clear rear axle, you'll need a couple 8mm cap screws to mount properly.

Know before you buy

You cannot install these training wheels without cutting the back wheel bolts. They are too long and interfere with the knobs to get them on. They made it easier to install third party training wheels and more difficult to install their own! I was very disappointed!
