I love this bike

I bought my Sirrus X 2.0 a year ago and I have put at least 500 miles on it. There are a number of loops in my suburban area that I ride ranging from 5 to 20 miles which I do a couple times a week. Some of these routes involve gravel and even some short stretches of moderate woods trail . The bike has performed beautifully. The mountain bike drivetrain climbs hills very comfortably and the wide tires handle the rough patches while rolling smoothly on clean road surfaces. I had been a little concerned about the shifters at first because I thought they seemed kind of lightweight. However they have worked perfectly so no worries there. Recently I took it back to my bike dealer, Keswick Cyclery in Glenside, PA, for a checkup. Aside from cleaning and oiling the chain and adjusting the disk breaks it didn't need anything. I'm 59 and I bought this bike for exercise and to get out and take the air and it suits me perfectly.

Decent bike

I did a bit of research and testing to find a a bike that would be good for road and light gravel without spending too much. This was the best fit for the price and the most stylish compared to other brands. Generally it’s a decent ride and gets the job done. The cons: 1) the paint - 2 weeks purchase paint chipped off the main part of the frame. It hadn’t been ridden much and not even off-road. That should not happen. FWIW this was the satin black color. 2) the brakes consistently rub when not engaged. It takes engaging and disengaging them quickly to release them so they don’t rub. I wouldn’t recommended this bike to a friend without explaining those caveats.

Tires. . .

Upgrade the tires? Yes. I highly recommend Continental Terra Speed Protection 40c. They roll with punches and feels like you can ride the bike All-Day-Long. Good-Fun-Spinning. . . Alex M.

Goes anywhere! Smooth. I can stand-over very nicely.

The price is the best thing. I ride up and down sidewalks, alleys, and bumpy city roads. The bike just prances over everything. However, with 42 dia. grippy tires, it would be hard for a 30-mile ride. I bike and bus ten miles daily. I am looking into the Valdo 5. An e-bike at 33 pounds. The Valdo is just like this bike with upgraded pleasant features.

Great all around bike.

Just picked up this bike and took it for first ride. Frame geometry is great very comfortable. Components very nice for this level of bike. Shifting is smooth. Really like simplicity of 1x system. Brakes are great. Ride is smooth on road and rough road to gravel. Tires are great fit for it. Very impressed with this bike!
