Our Sirrus Comp City understands that there's more to "value" than a dollar sign. That's why it's purpose-built to give you everything that you need to stay in shape, from a lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame to powerful hydraulic disc brakes. We even threw in mounts for fenders and racks, because we know that there's no better way to get in a workout than replacing a drive with a ride. Of course, we also spent a good deal of time dialing-in the comfort with our Fitness Geometry and a whole host of scientifically tested and engineered Body Geometry components. We even gave it a unique reflective paint job that illuminates in order to increase your visiblity to motorists in low-light conditions. Add it all up, and you have a partner in health at a price that won't break the bank.

  • The frame was constructed from our E5 Premium Aluminum in order to build a bike with a respectable overall weight and responsive ride quality. It's also been paired with our Fitness Geometry, so you can rest assured that you'll be comfortable along your path to greater fitness.

  • The Espoir Sport Reflect tires are reliable, fast, and enhanced for reflective safety. They feature a durable compound with low rolling resistance and plenty of grip. And with our double BlackBelt flat protection, you also gain reliability and durability where it counts.

  • Our Canopy Comp saddle was designed for the utmost in comfort, keeping pressure off the soft tissue for a ride quality that's enjoyable—mile after mile.

Do not buy this bike!

I am writing to inform Specialized how disappointed I am with the Sirrus City Comp I purchased. The more miles I put on it the less I like it. I have been riding for 40+ years and this is by far the worst bike I have purchased. I purchased with the intent of taking longer and more comfortable rides (now that I am older) but - I if ride it more than 10 miles I feel like I have been beat up! Issues; 1. I am not sure where the problem lies, weather it's the head tube angle, fork off set, trail, or a combination of all of them - but I find the steering to be ""twitchy"". I find it hard to hold my line especially in a cross wind. I also find it hard to grab my water bottle without veering! (not an issue while riding my other bikes) 2. The tires are very harsh - many roads I travel are ""chip sealed"" and every little stone and bump is transmitted through the handle bars - extremely annoying and fatiguing. My racing bike has a smoother ride! 3. I discovered the distance laterally between the peddles (Q factor) is 3/4"" less than all the other bikes I own, I find this hard to comfortably adapt to. 4. I find the double chain ring gearing to be very inefficient - it seems either I am spinning too fast, Lugging too hard of a gear, or in a cross chain position. I spend too much time switching between chain rings and then shifting three cogs up or down. Very annoying! 5. Fenders 1. they are painted metal, by far not as durable as plastic 2. They are so close to the tires every little thing gets stuck between the tire and fender so you have to stop and remove the debris often. 3. the set screws holding the braces are way too small and they rattle loose constantly 6. The integrated headset is a nightmare if you want to change stems the spacers and stem are an odd shape and have positioning pins that are incompatible with anything else! 7. For a bike with a carbon fiber fork it is heavy! It is heavier than my old 100% aluminum hybrid
