It’s earned glowing reviews the world over… Our light-yet-strong carbon frame delivers bump-devouring suspension and effortless control. Equipped with the best suspension, drivetrain and wheels available, the S-Works edition dishes out peerless performance.

THE ULTIMATE TRAIL BIKE

The innovative sidearm design makes a lighter, better-handling bike. By directly connecting all three mounting points of the rear-end and shock to the frame, we’ve increased both stiffness and performance over bumps. End result? Total control.

LIGHTWEIGHT, CAPABLE…AND STUNNING

Our carbon chassis melds 140mm of smooth and deep suspension with smart features, including our integrated SWAT™ box downtube storage and painless cable routing. No proprietary bullshit and a threaded bottom bracket also mean that this frame is 100% hassle free.

• One of the lightest—and most capable—trailbikes on the market.

• S-Works delivers 140mm of smooth suspension and unrivaled handling.

• Top-tier suspension courtesy of FOX FLOAT DPX2 Factory rear shock.

This is one fun bike.

I find that the bike can do it all. Climbs very well. The frame is stiff.

The One Specialized Trail Slayer to Conquer All

My '19 S-Works 29 Stumpy is an amazing all-encompassing slayer of a broad range of trail conditions and aggressiveness. I purchased my Stumpy in April and since then I've ridden it on almost every trail in Santa Cruz CA and throughout the West Coast including a few enduro races which served up a virtual cornucopia of trail conditions from last Spring through this Fall. I experienced super dry, sandy, and rocky trails at California Enduro Series (CES) Race 1 in Ensenada MEX in May, loamy, wet, and slippery roots and rocks at Enduro World Series (EWS) at Crankworxs in Whistler CAN, and moon-dust with extremely consequential rocks at EWS Northstar CA in Aug, and snow and light rain with mud at CES in Ashland OR in Oct. Additionally, the Stumpy feels extremely comfortable in the air and handled high-speed jumps on A-Line in Whistler and Live-Wire at Northstar! If you are looking for a single weapon to handle most situations I highly recommend the Stumpy because of its confidence-inspiring performance!
