The S-works Power with Mirror technology is the perfect reflection of you. We’re…
We deliver! Just say when and how.
The S-works Power with Mirror technology is the perfect reflection of you.
We’re redefining comfort and performance with Mirror technology to take Body Geometry into the future. The last big material innovation in saddle design happened decades ago with the introduction of foam. To develop a next-generation saddle, we had to look beyond foam and develop a next-generation technology. The S-Works Power Saddle with Mirror is the future.
We developed Mirror technology by 3D printing from a liquid polymer to perfectly reflect your anatomy. This revolutionary process creates a complex honeycomb structure that allows us to infinitely tune the material’s density in a way impossible with foam. The result is a patent-pending matrix of 14,000 struts and 7,799 nodes, each of which can be tuned individually.
And when you combine this technology with our extremely lightweight S-Works Power saddle, with its flexed-tuned FACT carbon shell and ultra-light rails, you get a high-performance saddle that's designed to help you perform at your best. It features all of the Body Geometry design characteristics you know and love, so you can be assured of superior, all-day comfort for your unique position.
Patented Body Geometry design is lab-tested to ensure blood flow to sensitive arteries.
Mirror technology utilizes 3D printing from liquid polymer to create a one-of-a-kind honeycomb structure that offers superior sit-bone support and comfort.
FACT carbon fiber shell is flex-tuned for support and ride compliance.
Ultra-light oversized FACT carbon rails.
SWAT™-compatible mounts molded into the saddle base allow for sleek and integrated storage solutions.
NOTE: Oversized 7x9mm carbon rails are not compatible with seatposts equipped with side-load clamp mechanisms for 7mm round rails.

I am someone who rides 7-8000 miles annually and do century rides just because. So I am picky about my saddle purchases. I have ridden Sella Anatomica saddle for five to seven years, and at 7-8000 thousand miles a year leather streteches and wears out. So I needed a saddle that would hold up to seasons of wear and tear and century after century ride. This saddle balances the comfort side of thing with the mesh and the performance side of things with placing you directly over your pedals. I don't cut corners on my saddle so when I went to purchase my seat I was a little surprised at the cost, well worth the money to purchase a saddle that offers comfort withe performance. I have a new favorite saddle that I love and can not wait to purchse the latest model when Mine wears out.
I’m always looking for the most advanced saddle. After reading all the great reviews, I decided to upgrade to this saddle from the Power Expert with Mirror on my Levo SL S-Works, but it’s not worth the money. In terms of comfort, there’s just no noticeable difference. The downside of the design is that mud collects in the holes of the 3D Mirror structure. I’m always willing to invest in my hobby, but this saddle just isn’t worth the price.
I’ve had this for 18 months. The seat squeaks. Really annoying
I got this & only up used it on two 50 miles rides After having my sit bones measured I got the 155 size .It gets wide to quickly & it chafed the inside of my thigh .I haven't used it since.
I must admit, this saddle was comfortable from the first ride. It's quite grippy - though I think I prefer to move around easily on the saddle with conditions. Its short length was also fine for me. However, getting back on the bike this spring, with the saddle being 30 months old, and 2.2k miles it was noticeable that I was sitting marginally lower. I'm 80kg. It felt that the support under the sit-bones was diminished. This meant the edges of the perineal cutaway were starting to dig in - leading to all sorts of discomfort and numbness. Not good. So, in short: comfortable, but too short-lived and bad value for money.
Was keen to get the mirror tech on my bike. The short nose was the best fit for me. The other two longer saddle shapes didn't suite me. Love this saddle. Can ride for hours without sacrificing comfort nor weight.
..... I wish now coming up on three years that I had purchased the Power Pro with Mirror. The Pro has hollow Titanium rails and weighs 245 grams. The SW Power with mirror has carbon fiber rails and weighs 190 grams. The big caveat is that Specialized in the fine print for carbon fiber rails recommends that the saddle be replaced every three years for rider safety. The hollow Titanium has no such problem. Unless that extra 55 grams (2 ounces) is critical save yourself $150 and have a saddle good for more than three years. So I've knocked my rating down to two stars due to lack of durability.
I purchased this saddle in May 2021. I loved it - it was the first saddle where I had no saddle sore issues (even though previous saddle was the same model but not with the Mirror technology). Recently, I noticed the saddle beginning to deteriorate, so I reached out to Specialized to see if I could warranty given that the saddle only had 15K miles and was well cared for. They declined, saying that their warranty was only for 2 years. A quick search of the internet confirmed that this is a known issue for these saddles. My takeaway was that specialized only expects these to last for a short time, even with the super premium price. So buy if you don't mind a saddle with an extremely short service life.
Super
A brilliant saddle. I thought about this one for about a year. High price and concerns it may be gimmicky but definitely most comfortable saddle I’ve ever had and given it’s such a critical part of enjoying a ride and the life you’ll get out of one of these it’s a very fair price. Grips bibs really well which some like and some don’t. For me I am rapt I got it.
I’ve been experiencing minor saddle soreness so I got a bike fit and got told my correct size was 155. My current saddle was 155 so I decided to go for the SWORKS power mirror due to all the hype. Unfortunately this went from bad to worse, the soreness y unbearable from the moment I sit on the saddle the pain and discomfort. I double checked the bike fit as well as slightly modified the saddle height and location and still the soreness and chafing continues. I have gone to a Specialized retailer to double check the saddle width and 155 still remains the “correct” width. I am extremely disappointed as this was a very expensive saddle and it feels worse than the original power saddle the bike came with.
The saddle is comfortable for the long ride, and the saddle sore is gone.
Great seat!
3d printing is not a hype. It is better than any version of foam that I’ve tried. It is expensive, we don’t exactly know the durability but the comfort is noticible. So far, durability is good on my road bike. What’s not to like about an all carbon, 3d printed saddle and virtually 0 weight as a crown for your sweet ride.. If you have the cash, give it a go. They may make a TI rail version one day like they did for the Romeo one day, wait on that if the price is out of reach.
This is a really awsome saddle. Paired with my 2022 Roubaix Sport and I am so comfortable its crazy.
Very comfortable
I had high hopes this seat was some kind of wonderful for the outrageous cost. After 300 miles, I just do not find it’s really any more comfortable than any other nice normal seat. For sure it’s not worth any $450.
Best saddle ever! No regrets. Say goodbye to sore butts!
Best seat ever plain and simple
The best saddle! It's so much more comfortable than other Power saddles, I've tried them all. The combo of comfort and light weight cannot be beat.
Its like sitting in the Hand of God! Amazing comfort.
Comfortable saddle; I appreciate the mirror technology. Conforms to body. Make sure you measure your sit bones to get the proper width.
Complete your top-of-the-line gear and components with this saddle
Specialized needs to post dimensions of these saddles. This thing is much longer than it looks in the photos. Had to return it.
Even though these are not inexpensive saddles, they add so much comfort that I bought a 2nd one for my indoor trainer! The difference between the 3D printed saddle (at least for me) and a regular saddle (I tried Specialized as well as different brands) is amazing! If I didn’t try this saddle I would never believe that it could deliver so much comfort - not only for my backside but my hands as well (cured my hands going numb)! Riding, I no longer think of my backside being sore, even on 100 km and longer rides. Amazing product!
Exceptionally Comfortable, but the shape falls somewhere between a longer nose road saddles that allow you to move and a No Nose Tri saddle. Currently trying to find sweet spot, but it’s a work in process some 500 miles later. OPEN shell construction: looks great, but after a muddy gravel ride, I’m still trying to clean ALL of nooks and crannies. Current Version is good, but not $450 great.
Very comfortable will save your a**
I can go on shorter rides without a chamois. It's like riding on a chunk off my lazy boy from home.
My brother bought this and and the other MTB Mirror tech saddles available. I tried them all and this was the winner. It is shorter so I don’t snag my shorts when sliding the seat between my legs. Overall it is the best seat I’ve ever tried. I suffer from sciatic nerve damage and I can’t tell you how good this saddle feels. I can get more miles from this saddle for sure. I thought Specialized was crazy for making a $450 saddle but it’s worth it especially if you suffer from an uncomfortable saddle. Give it a try and see if it works for you. Btw I use this on my Large 2021 Turbo Levo Comp and I’m 6’ 1” and weigh in at 170lbs. Thanks Soecialized!
Best saddle ever.
. as i suffer apparently from a under rotaing hip i alway get a sore spot on one chee. not any more after buying this seat, brilliant thats all i can say. i have had it for 12 months and average 150 miles per week. with no problems. once i manged 208 miles in a day. all i got was a blister on my hand. one of my best buys. thinking of buying another for my 2nd bike
Comfortable from the first ride
Great design and super comfortable for those long rides
Probably one of the most comfortable and important parts needed especially for long rides. Paired with your favorite bibs, your body will truly appreciate this anatomically self molding design. Highly recommend obtaining this saddle.
I’ve never before found a really comfortable saddle despite multiple attempts with different bike fitters. This is easily the best I have ever tried. I’ve only ridden around 8 hours on it and no long rides, so don’t weight my review too highly. And, anyway, saddle fit is totally individual. I was fortunate enough to have met someone who had one and very kindly let me try it out as a demo (no bike shop near me was willing to demo a saddle with carbon rails). Specialised really ought to have a demo option, (perhaps with steel rails?), ro sell saddles at this price point
Switched from the Romin Mirror to this saddle — really liked the Romin, but love this one. Even though a shorter saddle, I feel it has a longer “comfort range”. A-1.
The seat is soo nice You can ride on it with normel shorts and it does not hirt you at all and the best part is that it is very light
As one of the top 1% high mileage cyclists in the world I can tell you for certain there is no saddle more comfortable!!! No saddle sores or even sore ass after 13 hours of riding!! there is an adjustment from a flat saddle as this saddle is on a 6% downward slope which activates different muscles if you have been riding a flat saddle for many years as I was. I switched from an S-Works Toupe for past seven years so it took about a month to adjust to posture. However on the upside even though my legs were dead after every ride I will say you get far more torque and especially in the drops which is what this saddle is meant for. I don't race but I do ride in drops living in Hawaii getting aero in high trade winds means riding drops quite a lot; however even riding on the tops this saddle excels and far less neck fatigue. Bottom line for racing or endurance cycling nothing beats this saddle! while its slightly heavier its worth the extra grams for the amazing comfort.
i recently bought a tarmac sl7 and learned that my beloved berk dilla saddle was not working out with the frameset. after a few hours of riding i was rolling my crotch away from the nose of the saddle and pouring my weight onto the front of the bike. my lower back and hands were incredibly sad. i set the power saddle up correctly and it essentially disappeared beneath me. this saddle really allows you to open up your hips and go lower and longer in the front without pain. when you fix the back end of the bike everything comes together. i highly recommend this saddle.
One on the top Saddle that I've been tried.. definitely it's a game changer. Amazing product. I switched from my previous s-work power. You won't regret
Best seat I’ve ever used.
I've had really tight hips after riding. This saddle is one of the best I've had. Comfortable & my hip flexors aren't that tight. Yea !
I ride 16-20k miles yearly and have ridden an S-Works Toupe for past 7 years which was fine, minor saddle sores, however I had to replace yearly due to compression of foam from hours daily in saddle, The Power With Mirror is like nothing i've ever ridden while it is slightly heavier: WHO CARES! when after a 13 hour day I have no ass fatigue !!!!!! All my Saddle sores have been erased and man, does this saddle perform at speed in drops which is what its made for! far less neck fatigue due to 6% downward slope. I would only tell you if you've been riding flat saddles for years the angle will require getting used to as it activates different leg muscles. took me 3 weeks to adjust riding 400 miles weekly. GET THIS SADDLE worth every dollar!!
As written in the title, the saddle is very comfortable if you like a short and relatively wide saddle. If not, i made the experience that it chafes over time, because it becomes too quickly wide.
Most comfortable saddle I’ve ever used.
light weight and surprisingly comfortable.
Been riding with this new seat for 3+ months and several 60 - 100 mile rides. Upgraded from the standard saddle that comes with the Roubaix Comp. Installed and realized you also need the "oval" mounting hardware to attach the seat to the post ($30 ish +). This hardware should absolutely come with the seat when purchased new. The standard "circle" mounts worked temporarily while I awaited the delivery of the oval mounting hardware - the seat just does not sit perfectly level. Regardless of this pain point - the seat was instantly comfortable and has performed well on several 60+ mile rides. I do not find myself even thinking about my back side until 60-70 miles into a ride. I do not have a ton of experience with other saddles but am glad I didn't go 1/2 way on this purchase.
The best saddle so far
Comfortable and has some grip to it.
I’ve spent a lot of time on a saddle. Some saddles are uncomfortable when you first sit on them. Others after an hour or more on the saddle. With a Specialized mirror saddle you really don’t notice it’s there. It becomes an integral part of the bike. It’s going to be tough for technology to beat this saddle…
This seat is extremely comfortable…best seat yet…
I would recommend this product but not for the price. It’s over priced in my opinion.
Very happy with the new saddle beiung both light and comfortable.
Seems very comfortable and just need to figure out tilt, if any.
Super comfortable for long rides, definitely recommend!
I don't know if it's a combination of getting older and/or no longer a skeleton thin racerboy, but there are two situations where my sitbones start to just hurt on a bike: * Rides/races longer than 6 hours. Pretty much any gravel event (Unbound, etc). My sitbones just start to hurt and I have to shift position a bit. * Trainer workouts longer than 90 minutes. Even with a rocker (which definitely helps), my sitbones get sore. I'm about to clock 100k miles in Strava, been riding since I was a boy, and can honestly say this is the best saddle I have ever ridden. When you sit on it for the first time, you notice (at least I did) that foam saddles make you aware of your sitbones (not sore right away, of course). This does not. At the end of a long day on the bike, my derriere feels as fresh as it did when I started. It is absolutely mind blowing. Same thing on the trainer. I will never ride a foam saddle again. Period. Shut up and take my money (I need two more now).
Very comfortable - tried wider version that was too wide. Too expensive.
I did not realize that the seat had carbon fiber mounting shafts that are oval and require a different oval mount seat post. Nonetheless, Specialized was great about allowing me to return it. They even paid the return shipping.
Absolutely great saddle. Not certain that price is justified and is the only negative about the saddle. No hot spots whatsoever. Not only is the saddle comfortable but it also almost completely eliminates road vibration when riding on chip-seal tarmac. Great saddle if you can afford it .
Great. Had issues with about 5 other types of saddles recently. This has been fine for 6 hour rides.
Couldn’t be happier. Almost zero pressure points.
This is by far the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden. Normally on long rides you are "aware" of your sit bones and a bit of discomfort the farther you ride. Not so with this saddle. I have always prefered a minimalist carbon saddle, but this saddle is so comfortable I never even think about my sit bones hurting or the need to get out of the saddle to relieve pressure. It also looks nice and isn't overly heavy. I have this saddle on both my road bikes and will never ride anything else.
I have to say it is by far the most comfortable saddle I've ever ridden and I will have one on any bike I ride from here on. It is soft and firm where it needs to be. It disappears beneath me and I forget about the saddle completely. Is it worth 450 bucks, well maybe? I think that's a ridiculous price, but for comfort is it really? honestly, I think more in the 350-400 range is fairer, but I still paid the 450 and prob would again. Don't forget a good pair of bibs with a good chamois and get your bike fitted properly. If you ride with $40 shorts your probably 1 not spending 450 on a saddle and 2 not too concerned with comfort. Will this saddle work for everyone? I doubt it as everyone is different. The key is to find a saddle that you ride and never think about because it's that comfortable. If the price was anything below 400 I'd give it 5 stars, but I have to rate it 5 stars on comfort but knock 1 star off for price.
I had Ergon Saddles on my E-bikes and they worked fine. In steep climbs where I needed to put more weight on the front of the wheel, the longer saddle was very uncomfortable. I was in my LBS and looking at the Specialized Power Pro Elaston with MIMIC which I believe is a women's saddle, so I bought it and it was very good, but not excellent. I saw S-Works Power with Mirror but the price scared me away. Lars the owner said he had people purchase one and they were back the next week to purchase the saddle. for all their bikes. So I bought one in my size a week later and installed it on my S-Works Levo. Steep Climbs or long rides it feels like I am sitting on my sofa.I have since bought a second one. I have been riding bikes for 50 years and in my experience it is incredible. I wonder if Specilized will ever have a BOGO sale, probally not.
Let’s be honest, this is an obscenely expensive piece of kit, and I really didn’t want to like it. My husband made fun of me for ordering it for my xc bike (Epic Evo), and then he REALLY made fun of me for ordering a second one for my other xc bike (S-Works Epic HT). Then he sat on it, and now I have to keep a close eye on him and the allen keys so he doesn’t steal it. It really is that comfortable. It just kind of…disappears underneath you. You don’t notice it’s there. No pressure points, no hot spots, and no burning crush of my lady parts while trying to keeping the front wheel down on the steep climbs.
Pricey, but worth every penny.
Have had issues with various saddles for over 30 years ("sleeping" private parts etc.). This cost a leg and an arm - especially since I always have the same saddle on all my bikes - but it really is more comfortable to use than other saddles. My first "short" nosed saddle, but works fine for me. Not sure everyone needs it. Saddles are very individual and some get along with much cheaper options. But if you have issues and find it difficult to find a good match its worth trying this out. Normally it takes a few weeks to break a new saddle in and it can be a little painful at first riding it day after day. Not so with this saddle. Did ten days straight and could hardly feel anything from one day to the next. Amazing! Makes my rides more fun and trips longer.
I have four of these seats including on a Peloton. 6115 road miles in 2021 and love it, obviously. 155mm fit me fine and would recommend it highly.
Very comfortable EXCEPT the 155 width caused thigh rub. I sent it back and may buy the 143 to see if it works. Sit bones were very well supported and cushioned. if only no rub it would have been perfect
Rode this for 8 hours at SBT Grvl and never thought about the saddle once… best saddle I’ve ever ridden! Make sure you get measured and fit before you buy any saddle
I bought this saddle having tried quite a few different ones. This is the ultimate in comfort, especially for long rides. They are quite pricey, but worth every cent.
I was skeptical on paying so much for a saddle that would be an improvement over the one that came on my Specialized 2021 Roubaix Expert. I was wrong, this saddle is super comfortable on long rides and I would definitely buy it again. I hope they come out with a titanium rail version to lower the cost a little.
Been riding Power saddles since 2017, easily converting from the Toupe'. As a 60-year old male gravel cyclist, most recently rode and enjoyed the Women's Power with Mimic since 2019, and really loved that saddle. Since riding (3) rides, and a bit over 100 miles on the Power w/Mirror, I found the Mirror is the most easy to convert of all previous experiences. Take into account saddle height, as the saddle measures approximately 6mm shorter, and 6mm higher than the Mimic. Without padding layers, the softness factor is more malleable for rider position and allows for sitting ""on"" and in a way, ""in"" the saddle. The flex of the full-carbon shell augments this intuitive ""softness"" and provides for staying in position without discomfort or need for adjustment. I experienced 'sticker-shock' prior to making the investment. Not entirely rationalizing value vs cost, my favorite cycling shoes cost $425, and handlebars $300. All-three bike contact points are imperative to bike fit and subsequent endurance-comfort for long days on the saddle. I highly recommend this incredible new technology!
I have two of these saddles and will buy another.one. The most comfortable high end saddle I've ridden! I have not felt that comfortable after a long ride since being 26 years old. I just did the Tour De Corn, it was brutal winds, but my bottom was comfortable so it didn't matter! The only negative is it's a little shorter than I'm used to, but it wasn't a factor except cosmetically and mentally! It rode like a dream!
More impactful than going tubeless I am unbelievably happy with this purchase
The Mirror is beyond my expectations. Checks all of the boxes. Treat yourself to the top of the line saddle. Important contact point. Get sized on the RETUL fit system.
I was skeptical at first, but recently I had been saddle hunting and went through a great many seat brands out there, couldn't find a seat that would become uncomfortable after just a few miles of riding and I am talking under double-digit mileage. Since this purchase I've ridden over a dozen 50 milers and half a dozen 100mi rides with this seat with the sole purpose of testing and ensuring comfort the entire way. Well I have to say since initially purchasing this with 30 day return in mind, It's lived up to it's design and performance. I tend to sit more often in the saddle without getting out of the saddle much, that's just my preferred way of riding spin, spin, spin. It takes maybe a solid 15-20mi before I have to stand and stretch and adjust a little and then reseat for minor discomfort from staying seated so long, but with my previous saddles, that was near impossible to achieve. I just love how comfortable the saddle feels, it just feels like your butt is being held firmly in place. I think I may just buy another saddle to have as a backup.
I primarily ride a S-Works Roubaix Red eTap AXS, and I thought the Power saddle it came with was spectacular. However, being an equipment junkie like many of us can be, I decided to upgrade my saddle, even though the price was steep. My first ride with it was 85 miles on sometimes bumpy roads - and it was SO comfortable! I've owned a dozen or so saddles, and this one is amazing.
This is the best saddle ever made. Probably one of the most impactful purchases I have made in years can do 100km rides with much reduced soreness the next day allowing me to keep riding. Even got one for my Peloton!
This is my second S-Works Mirror saddle. Having spent the past year on the original I purchased another for my new Argonaut RM3. They are NOT cheap but with care will last a decade or more. Best saddle ever. I've tried them all. I have the new Fizik Adaptive and the Specialized saddle puts it to shame.
Initially bought the 155mm when it became available, arrived and thought it was too small. Ready to return if I contact specialized to return the saddle, as it's smaller than my stock phenom... a few days passed, I decided to try it out instead of returning it right away, and what a ride. The seat cushions perfectly for long bumpy mountain rides, and although it is smaller, it fits my bike and butt much better. I give it 5 stars and initial recommend those who purchase and want to return, try it on your bike, go 10 miles...
It's the best saddle I've used. From the get-go it's comfortable and what was surprising was how much it absorbs the shock - you don't feel it moving but you think to yourself, whoa, that should have hurt a little (or a lot), but it doesn't. Adios to those old-school saddles, at least for me.
Mounted on my 2019 SWORKS VENGE and plan on getting one for my 2016 SWORKS ROUBAIX. I use the larger size and experience a happy saddle after a metric century. Looking forward to a century test, soon.
This is by far the comfiest saddle I have owned. But lets address the elephant in the room - availability. I saw this saddle reviewed on YouTube and I had a feeling it would be ideal. However, despite all the advertising, it took SEVEN MONTHS before I managed to get one in a very limited stock release. Why advertise a product if you can't deliver? But - having used it for a month and done 100km+ rides with it, I can honestly say the comfort is next level for a performance saddle. Cannot recommend highly enough, despite the expense, if comfort for long days in the saddle are important to you. If you can get one.
best saddle. I have tried sooo many but this is it for me. Thanks for making it!!
I know saddles are personal preference, but this one is the best I've ever used. I was using a S-Works Power saddle, so I knew the shape would be good. This one is just so much more comfortable on longer rides. The standard Power saddle was a bit firm. This one has just enough squish that I've not had any sit bone discomfort yet.
This saddle is amazingly comfortable! I have a cabinet full of saddles that cause pain on long rides. Six hours in the saddle is not a problem for this one. Best saddle specialized has ever made!
I mounted this saddle on a 2021 S Works EPIC (XL). While it is very comfortable, mine broke upon first use on the trails. I weigh 205 lbs 6'2"" (so please no joking that this is on me). I got the 155 mm version.
It didn't take more than a few seconds to realize this seat felt WAY better than my stock Turbo Levo Carbon SL Seat. Not a huge fan of the looks b/c of the short nose on this seat but my butt is telling me otherwise...would have been 5 stars if it were under $300, but money aside, this is a very comfortable and light seat. I have zero buyers remorse
First impression of the S-Works Power with Mirror saddle was Wow, I've never seen or felt a saddle quite like this, OK then; now my first ride was again another Wow, this Mirror is really comfortable, many times I forgot I was sitting on a saddle. Now for some facts; I've ridden the S-Works Power with Mirror saddle 7 times for 336 miles and about 27 hours, which Equates to 48 miles per ride and about 3.8 hours per ride, the Mirror is without a doubt the most comfortable saddle that I have sat on. So if you are spending a lot of time on the saddle, or just want a comfortable saddle, I can highly recommend the S-Works Power with Mirror saddle, it is the best that I've ever owned.
This is the best cycling seat I've ever used Very comfortable, specially for those long rides.
I generally ride 50+ miles on weekend days. Fortunately, this seat arrived right before a four day weekend so I could give it a thorough test. I rode four straight days of 50+ miles on the new seat. I have to say, the first day I wasn't sure - is it really better? And I spent time trying to find the right position (fore and aft). But by the fourth day, there was no question, this is definitely a much more comfortable seat and a worthwhile purchase. And now this second weekend, it just feels natural (and good). But take note - as the instructions point out - you'll probably need to purchase new seatpost saddle clamp ears (< $20) to match the carbon fiber bars on this saddle.
I have used this saddle now for 3 weeks and close to 900 miles and gone are my chronic saddle sores, along with any numbing from previous saddles. Well vented and a good feel. I have it on my S-Works Tarmac and after some adjustments for the correct fit, it is certainly the most comfortable saddle in my 35 + years of riding.
I was a bit skeptical especially with all the jargon etc but this is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden on. Wow!
Best saddle I've ever ridden...not exaggerating. The pressure just dissipates...it's magic.
As other reviews have mentioned, if you're at all second-guessing spending this kind of cash on a saddle, don't buy this, because you will NOT be able to return it. It's THAT comfortable. I've been riding on good/great saddles (Specialized and others) and thought I was just fine, and that a little discomfort on long rides was just ""how it works"". The most painful saddle problem for me is that I'd get a sore/saddlerash from the pinching rubbing of one leg against my testicle (sorry for the TMI, but I know that other rides will appreciate the details). All of that discomfort and issue is completely eliminated with this saddle. It's comfortable and still feels stable so you can get after it. Cannot recommend enough. Holy cow.
Changed out my Power saddle on my Turbo Creo SL with this new, ridiculously priced saddle. I'd had specific sit bone soreness after 2 hours with my old saddle. Went out for my typical 40+ mile ride. THE DIFFERENCE IS AMAZING. No pain. VERY comfortable. I've never changed out a saddle and felt this kind of difference ever, in my10 years of riding.
My previous saddle was Fizik Antares, decently comfortable, but causing perineal issues. I have been trying various cut-out saddles for over a year, including Power (which was not bad, but still hurt my behind). Saw this one, almost threw up after seeing the price, but decided to try this because of the 30-day guarantee. Well...there is no way in hell this saddle is going back. The difference in comfort is immediate and BIG. I can only compare to the feeling I felt when I got on the first generation Fizik Aliante after suffering on various saddles from that era. Here the difference is even bigger. Do not try this saddle unless you are prepared to spend that kind of money. 3D printed saddles may be the future of high-end road saddles especially if they develop custom printing workflow.
So I immediately jumped at the opportunity to buy this saddle as I have always had saddle sore issues, despite bike fits, etc. I put this on and was able to adjust it to a point it feels great from a fit perspective. Took it out on a 20 miler yesterday and really the saddle just disappeared beneath me. It was just so comfy and compliant. I look forward to spending more time and longer rides on it but initial impression is WOW! We need more of these in different styles, and ideally a custom moulded option!!!! Keep it up Specialized!
I was fortunate to be able to purchase the S-Works Power Mirror at Grey Goat in Carmel Indiana when it first became available. Brian Gootee told me about the saddle in late March and called me as soon as it was available. Chris Richter made sure I had the correct saddle width with the Retul system and set up the saddle on my bicycle in the store. It instantly felt great with my bicycle on the trainer. Today, I had the first opportunity to take it out for a road ride. It was a short 14 miles. The first thing I thought was ""nothing"", as in, I'm not sitting on anything. The fit of the seat is very comfortable. The padding absorbs a lot of road vibration and shock without feeling soft or squishy. When I rode on the hoods or in the drops, I did not feel pressure in the perineal area, something I immediately noticed when Chris had me on the trainer at Grey Goat. This allowed me to bend my elbows more , which lowered my forearms and opened my chest. I didn't need to straighten my arms to reduce pressure at the front of the saddle. This allowed me to put more sustained pressure on the peddles, instead on my arms. This saddle may allow me to increase my overall power output. Who would think a saddle could do this? I didn't feel the need to slide around on the saddle like I do with my Toupe and my Arione in order to find sweet spots for hills, flats, or in the drops. This is a lot to say after a paltry 14 miles, but, at this point, it is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in 36 year of riding and racing. Great job Specialized.
