With seven wins at Paris-Roubaix, our Roubaix has proven that Smoother is Faster. Until this moment, however, smooth has admittedly come with some compromises. But not anymore. The all-new Roubaix Pro now delivers compliance without compromise by introducing a radical new Future Shock 2.0 that gives you more control and damping options, a new Pavé seatpost that creates our most balanced Roubaix to date, aerodynamics that equal the Tarmac, and a Rider-First Engineered™ frame that’s shed some serious weight. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but don’t call it a comfort bike, because performance was behind every engineering decision we made. This is the new Roubaix.

The build on this Roubaix Pro goes as all out with a focus on getting every ounce of performance possible for your money. It features the superlative SRAM Force eTAP AXS 12-speed build kit you’ve probably been reading about, lightweight Roval Alpinist CL carbon wheels, our all-new S-Works Pavé seatpost, S-Works carbon Hover bars, and our fan-favorite Power Pro saddle.

  • The new frame delivers compliance without compromise via the perfect balance of aerodynamics, light overall weight via a FACT 10r carbon construction, compliance, and Rider-First Engineering. With tube shapes that were born in our FreeFoil Shape Library and validated in the Win Tunnel, the new Roubaix is more aero than the Tarmac SL6. Meanwhile, to ensure the weight and ride quality, we turned to a Rider-First Engineered™ design to deliver optimal stiffness and compliance across all sizes, from 44 to 64cm. Of course, the frame has shed some serious weight in the process. And to prep you for your own Hell of the North, we’ve made room for 33mm tires.

  • To go along with the new frame, we’ve also developed a totally-new S-Works Pavé seatpost. Not only is it the first compliant seatpost that’s also aerodynamic, it does so without any additional weight or finicky contraptions. Starting with the same D-shape design found on the Tarmac, we took its compliance a step further by building additional flex into the upper and developing a new drop-clamp design in the frame. This provides plenty of compliance, while staying perfectly balanced with the front-end, so you get a smooth, balanced ride no matter how rough the road.

  • The Future Shock 2.0 is the result of our pro riders’ demands for the cobbles of Roubaix. It’s smoother, faster, and gives you more control via a knob atop the stem. This knob adjusts compression from fully-open to stiff, while hydraulically-damped internals control rebound. Add it up, and this latest version will reduce fatigue and increase your speed, no matter the terrain. The new Smooth Boot, top cap, and Future Stem also enhance the aesthetic, so you get a clean transition from head tube to stem.

Unbelievably Awesome Bike

I managed to get hold of this bike through the UK bike to work scheme which made it just about affordable, otherwise it was out of reach for me pricewise. This is the bike of my dreams and it does not disappoint, absolutely phenomenal performance and comfort. The components are a different league to anything I've owned before, having come from rim brakes and cable shifting, I feel genuinely privileged to own and ride this fantastic bike. As others have said it's not as green as it appears in the pictures but still looks superb and shines very nicely in different lighting, a totally unique colouring. I am really looking forward to many long distance adventures this Spring and Summer when the weather finally improves in Northern Scotland. I am 188cm tall with an inseam of 84cm and the 58 frame is a perfect, comfortable fit for me.

Comodidad y rapidez

Awesome bike, not as green as I originally thought but the paint job is amazing with how it changes in the light. The bike is comfortable and fast! I did swap out the SRAM with the help of the Ruislip concept store, for the 12-speed ultegra di2, and it's awesome. Some say I should have stuck with SRAM but I am a big Shimano fan.

Color

It's pricey but love the bike so far. However, it's not green as shown in the pics which was disappointing to me. Mine has a slight silver tinge on the left side, mainly only on the fork, and a slight green tinge on the right side, also mainly only on the fork, and that's about it. The rest is like a carbon color - matt black / dark grey.

I have been trying to

I have been trying to buy this bike for months. I knew it was the one I wanted, and although I was tempted to get something else, I am so glad I waited. I've ridden it three times so far this week, and it is smooth, comfortable, and FAST. I've never used SRAM before, but it was easy to transition to. I thought I might need to change the saddle out for my usual, but so far I'm completely comfortable. And as far as appearance- photos don't do this bike justice. It's either black or green, depending on the light. Gorgeous.
