They say that every journey begins with a single step, but when that journey is related to exercise, that first step can sure be a doozy. It can be life-changing, however, and there's no better machine to take the plunge with than with the Roll. The Roll Sport has everything you need to help achieve your goals, like a wide range of Shimano gears, a comfortable, upright geometry, wide and grippy 650b tires, hassle-free mechanical disc brakes, and a whole host of other components that are built to withstand years of riding. You don't have to sacrifice—you just need the Roll Sport.

  • The Roll is made from our A1 Premium Aluminum, and it features our Ground Control Positioning that makes it easy to put a foot down when stopped. This Roll also comes ready with rack/fender mount, making it easy to carry extra weight.

  • Wide diameter, 650b x 2.3" Nimbus II Sport tires provide excellent traction, stability, and cushioning, which creates a safer, more reliable, and more comfortable ride on either paved or dirt roads.

  • Equipped with a Body Geometry "The Cup" saddle, you can expect a supreme level of comfort anywhere you ridel. It delivers on these expectations by "cupping" your sit bones, which reduces pressure without feeling obtrusive or constraining.

Best Bike I've Owned!

I bought this bike back in February of 2020. I don't ride triathlons or anything, but I have but a few thousand miles on this bike and it is still going strong! The upright seating position is so much better on my back and hands than a road bike, and it is a comfortable bike to ride. I use this both as my everyday cruiser and my adventure bike. As the title says, this is the best bike that I have ever owned, and I look forward to more years of riding!

Best bike the wife and I ever bought

When looking for new bikes after we bought walmart bikes which sucked and were very uncomfortable we knew we were just going to be riding on rails to trails and around campgrounds today we rode just over 30 miles and were very comfortable the whole trip

Love the bike, but where do I buy tubes? REI didnt have them

Love the comfort of the bike. Better than riding a mountain bike on a paved trail. The handle bar is great for an upright ride

I would not buy this bike again... unless...

Like Bennet, I got a Roll (for Father's Day). Let me say I have two other Rolls a few years older up north and they are so great - it's why I got this one. I'm not sure what's up because it has no Specialized graphics on it , only 'Roll' up front, and it has 10 speeds. Elite? Anyway, it has those weird low bars so I'm crouched... wrist tingles after 10 miles or so. These bars don't fit the geometry nor the essence of this bike. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow to see if I can get the other bars.... I WILL follow up but not getting a good vibe.... but the website kinda sucks too.

4.5 Stars...great bike with minimal flaws

First...this is the perfect ""middle age"" bike; from single tracking in my 20s, the joy of biking has always been with me. But, at 55, with occasional back and joint issues this fits the bill. It's more aggressive than a beach cruiser (Electra Townie) but reduces the pressure on lumbar and wrists. The good; quality components. Shifts crisply with minimal chain clatter. Roll Sport has manual disk brakes that work very well. The large balloon tires are a joy, leaving a paved path onto grass and back again doesn't put you at risk of dumping your bike. The raised BMW style handlebars are good, and the grips are contoured so you don't need biking gloves anymore. This is a big, heavy bike even with the aluminum frame, but it doesn't feel like one. Handling is very good, even on sharp corners. I'm still averaging about 12 MPH on my paved trail rides. The not-so-good; the seat isn't working for me. The nose angle is very high, and if you're a guy with even minimal prostate pain a 45 minute ride will be very uncomfortable. The angle is a adjustable, but nose down you'll find yourself sliding off the seat. The spoke guard on the wheel is cheap plastic, and the clips holding it on gave way; it fell off after 200 miles. Mid-ride I had to remove my rear wheel and remove it. Also, making minor gear adjustments happened fast; are they using pre-stretched cables? It didn't feel that way. This bike is well worth the price; I've been a Trek guy for 30 years and this convinced me that other manufacturers can still be as good at this price point. This bike has a cult following for a good reason, it's unique and will keep us old guys on our bikes for many years to come!

Sweet machine

I been ridin 50 plus years, hand built mountain bikes back in the day. My old butt needed a new machine for urban riding and hats when the ""Roll"" came my way. Glad I got a Roll as its a mean cruiser that can handle off road use. Got mine in flat black reflective"" very industrial"" looking and smooth as butter to ride. Nice job guys and gals...

super fun bike

picked up this bike looking for a more relaxed ride having a straight bar road bike already. found it to be very usable and is now my go to bike. ride is smoother over bumps and haven't missed the extra speed at all. maybe not for long trips but a super run around bike. glad i purchased it. only thing i found is that the pedals can be slippery when wet but i'm wearing running shoes.
