2020 Pitch Expert 1X

ok so I have had this bike for 8 months now, and i have upgraded the pedals, grips, tires, front wheel, and front and rear rotors. i like the bike, but my only criticism is that you can run an internally routed dropper, however you will need to upgrade the bottom bracket and cranks first. this is a huge inconvenience and could have been easily avoided. the front wheel i added is a trek md35 and i mounted a specialized butcher to it. i added a rockshox judy fork. the old fork was not working, i had had it serviced many times, but the rebound remained way to slow, and was unusable. overall it could be a good bike, but it needs some upgrades first.

As others have said, bike rides awesome, is silent on the trail... and I'll add that the 1X Shimano Deore 9-speed system shifts quick and true. Never a missed shift. Few weeks of riding, and I've ALMOST got it dialed in... but for the life of me, I cannot find an air pressure chart for the fork. The exact model, ""SR SunTour MXR Air"" is not listed on Suntours site. I'm heavy(210), and cant find the happy place of 25% sag at rest... Any help with this would be appreciated. Otherwise, Excellent Ride. Perfect geometry .. I'm 5'9 1/2"" and my local shop suggested the Large, not the Medium. I'm glad I went with their recommendation. Great fit!!

The bike is silent on the trails, and haas great parts that are built to last. it is the best bie i have ever had. the tires arent great in tons of mud, but are amazing on loose dry stuff.

I've had quite a few hard tails...treks, giants, diamondbacks and nothing comes close to this specialized. You might pay a little more but it goes to quality and you feel it. This is the first bike I've ever owned where I didn't need to change my seat. You know a bike is good when the stock seat is better than any after market. I ride all over San Diego, trails, Torrey pines even cruise the boardwalk with it. Best investment you will every make! Thank you speciaalized you guys truly are the best in the game.

I use this product every day and it is great for the price and how it rides

When deciding which bike I wanted I thought this one checked all of the boxes, including internal routing. However there isn't a workable way to have an internally routed dropper post. Could have been fixed very easily by adding a hole on the back of the seat tube but there isn't one.

I use my bike on the daily ridding to work and still hit the trails at mammoth this bike is one of the best all around bikes i have owned fast smooth ride on road or on the rock trails.
