The rugged Pitch Comp 1X is built to get you way out there and back on every adventure. We relentlessly refined the Pitch’s handling for an exquisite balance of an agile, playful feel, with stability at speed, all in a proven frame design with durable performance parts.

THE SWEET SPOT

What to pick, the nimble 26-inch wheel size or the fast-rolling 29er? Neither, we said. The the sweet spot for many riders, and trails, is right in between, so the Pitch rolls on 27.5-inch wheels that offer a 29er’s confident handling in a tighter, lighter package.

STRENGTH AND GRACE

The A1 Premium Aluminum frame is pretty much the definition of strong. But that doesn’t mean it rides like a brute. Our engineers carefully optimized the shape of every tube to ensure it offers a smooth, comfortable, confident ride even on the bumpiest trails.

TOP-CLASS PARTS

SR Suntour XCM suspension fork with custom Multi-Circuit damping.

Wide-range MicroSHIFT drivetrain handles even the steepest climbs.

Meaty Ground Control Sport tires offer grip and control in any trail condition.

Best bike for the dollar

I have had my Pitch Comp for over a year. I have taken it trails it has made me impressed out of all the bikes in the past and I had 2003 Trek 4900 I took that on some trails it wasn't for me too really jeopardize the rims on.

I would buy it again but needs a better fork.

It was a fun entry level bike but I would of liked an air fork and internal routing for a dropper post. It has good geometry but I would like a 20mm longer handlebar.

Good, but some flaws

So, I bought it from a shop, and it rides nice and sturdy, and also climbs well. The one flaw is that it didn't come (or appear) dropper ready. Since this bike is good, it's worth upgrading, but not having an integrated dropper is kind of letting you down. Anyway, this is a great bike for the price.
