Great first bike

I bought the bike to spend time outdoors with family and have enjoyed it a lot. It seemed like a decent entry level bike and have zero complaints about it. Great for fitness and family time.

I LOVE this bike!

I have been riding bikes my whole life. I am 24 now, grew up riding bikes all the time. A typical summer day all the way through grade school was wake up, ride my bike and go to the pool. Fast forward 15 years. I am now living in Dallas and still ride bikes when I can. I absolutely love this bike. I wanted something that I could literally do anything on, whether it be a 30-45 min ride for cardio, a 15 mile ride around the lake, a commute to the store or farmers market, ride trails, or just ride the bike a few minutes to have fun...all while not having to break the bank by spending as much money on a bike as most people would a vehicle. This bike is great, super light, comfortable and cruises like a dream! It is the perfect hybrid bike. I love this bike and plan on having it for multiple years!!!!!

A fantastic first bike

I purchased this bike at age 51, intending to use it for low-impact basic exercise. I live in a hilly area, and thought that 30 minutes or so of riding a few times a week would be good for me. And indeed it was, but more than that. I have come to love riding this bike so much that I have significantly increased both how often and how far I ride. The semi-upright position is comfortable for long rides, and the wide tires provide a stable and solid ride. As a new rider I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have had just a bit of trouble with the derailleur. The shifts can be clunky and noisy, and at one point a cable got caught up in the gears and had to be replaced. But that was cheap and easy to repair, and has not been a problem since. I know that they make lighter versions of this bike, but at least for me that wouldn't matter much. I'm not racing, just touring, and this bike is plenty good for that. I have accessorized it a bit, and am considering clipless pedals, but in general this bike is more than adequate for my needs for many years to come.
