The all-new S-Works Turbo Levo is by far the most stoke-inducing model in the Turbo Levo line. It has a carbon frame with a Sidearm design, like what you'll find on the new Stumpjumper, plus 150mm of Rx-tuned travel, a redesigned custom motor, a new 700 Wh battery, and a long list of features that make this the ultimate trail bike—with some seriously extra oomph. The power to ride more trails is yours.

You're looking at one of the lightest full-suspension e-mountain bikes to ever touch dirt. Much of this weight savings come courtesy of what we learned while designing the latest Stumpjumper. The new Sidearm frame design, for instance, gives the Turbo Levo an exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. Now, the bike is stiffer and has a lower-slung frame that's more capable on tough descents, even easier to maneuver in technical terrain, and uses less battery power. We've also lengthened the reach, kept the chainstays nice and short, slacked out the head angle, steepened the seat angle, and maintained a low center of gravity. You'll also find a new Flip Chip that lets you adjust the bottom bracket height and head angle in a matter of minutes. It's dialed.

We managed to increase battery capacity, meanwhile, by a massive 40%. The bike now gets more distance out of every full charge, so there's no need to worry about getting caught on the trail without enough juice to get you home. The Smart Control feature, available with our Mission Control App, lets you set the power assist to last for either the duration of your ride or until you reach a point you've defined yourself. Battery status is now always on view with both the new Turbo Connect Unit and the optional handlebar-mounted Turbo Connect Display.

We also cleaved away weight with our new magnesium-bodied motor. The new Specialized 2.1 motor amplifies your input by up to 410% with absolutely no awkward surges in power. Our engineers in Switzerland devoted years to making this a reality by creating custom software that drives the most cutting-edge motor in its class. And for the suspension, we redesigned it to give you even more control where you need it most. The initial travel is supple, but we added more mid-stroke support, so there's no wallowing about or blowing through your 150mm of suspension travel on big hits and drops.

This Turbo is also the smartest and best-connected e-MTB to date. Our Turbo Connect Unit is at the center of the top tube, and it connects the bike, via ANT+ and Bluetooth®, to both the outside world and the Turbo Connect Handlebar Display (available aftermarket). Speaking of which, the latest version of the Mission Control App now has more features and is simpler to use than ever before. It lets you easily custom-tune nearly every aspect of the bike, monitor your power use, control your range, perform basic system diagnoses, record and upload rides—there's even a new Shuttle Mode feature that takes the sting out of long climbs by giving you maximum motor support with less required effort at the pedals.

Of course, this wouldn't be an S-Works without top-level spec, and this bike delivers with Roval Traverse SL 29-inch carbon wheels, big 2.6-inch Butcher tires, SRAM XX1/X01 11-speed shifting, a FOX 36 Factory fork w/ 150mm of travel, and a full FACT 11m carbon frame.

  • The S-Works Turbo Levo frame is constructed entirely of FACT 11m carbon fiber, making it not only lightweight but also remarkably stiff and responsive. The design includes our 29 Trail Geometry that includes a low bottom bracket, lengthy top tube, and short chainstays. Kinematics of the frame have also been perfected, along with rider-tuned stiffness. Cable routing is all internal, including that of the Command Post IR, while the battery is fully integrated in the down tube, while the minimalist motor is mounted in a more secure, lighter way.

  • The custom Specialized 2.1 Rx Trail-tuned motor is more efficient, 15% smaller, and 11% lighter than its predecessor. This successfully places it at the top of e-bike motor technology. It has many other features that no other e-bike can touch, like instant engagement, fantastic heat management, a double freewheel design that disengages the gear box when you hit top speed, and silent, smooth, and consistent output—even at max power.

  • This Turbo’s new Specialized M2-series battery features a 700Wh capacity, providing you with 40% more capacity and range, and even more power to ride more trails. It, of course, still seamlessly integrated inside the frame and is easily removable, too.

후회없는 선택입니다

터보리보 S-Works 2019년식을 2018년 12월 20일에 출고한 이후 최근까지 서울근교 싱글 코스를 주로 타고 가끔 지방으로 점프라이딩으로 4600km 정도를 탄 주말라이더입니다. 라이딩의 즐거움은 그대로 남겨두고 고통만을 쏙 제거하여 '펀라이딩'이 되도록 한다는 점이 전기자전거의 가장 큰 메리트입니다. 약간의 긴장과 스트레스마저도 없어져 다소 심심한 라이딩이 되었다할지라도 서울근교 웬만한 산악코스는 내려서 끌고 갈일이 없어져버렸다는 쾌감은 이전의 기계식 자전거로 되돌아가고 싶은 생각이 털끝만큼도 없도록 합니다. 터보리보만의 장점이라고 회자되고 있는 특성은 저소음과 이질감 없이 이뤄지는 동력지원 그리고 전기의 힘을 미세하게 조정할 있다는 것이어서 라이더의 감성과 컨디션은 물론 코스의 난이도에 따라 모터의 지원율을 바꿔가며 탈 수 있다는 것입니다. 전기자전거의 또다른 핵심부품인 배터리를 700kw 용량으로 채용한 것도 탁월함입니다. 당일 라이딩으로 도로이동을 포함하여 64km의 산악코스를 탄 적이 있었지만 배터리는 여유가 있었습니다. (500배터리로 장거리 라이딩을 나서면 은근히 신경이 쓰이기도 합니다) 150mm 포크 트레블과 리저버탱크가 없는 리어샥은 업그레이드 1순위 대상이 되고 있는 부품들로 경쟁력이 떨어진다고 생각합니다. (사실 1년쯤 지나서 포크는 160으로, 샥은 올린즈 스프링으로 바꿔 달았습니다) 헤드각도 경쟁 모델들에 비하면 역시 아쉬움이 있구요, 지금껏 한번도 모터 에러를 경험한 적도 없고, 같이 다니는 열여대의 터보리보 중에서도 그런 사례는 없었습니다. 온라인 카페 등에서 얻는 간접경험이 전부였을 뿐이지만 eMTB의 핵심인 모터에 문제가 발생한다는 것은 치명적이어서 라이딩 중에도 은근히 우려되는 것은 사실입니다. 그럼에도 불구하고 터보리보는 디자인과 디테일은 물론 하드웨어와 소프트웨어 등 모든 부분에서 완성도가 뛰어나서 선택한 것을 후회하지 않습니다.

Sweet, sorted and fully addictive

I thought my 2018 high specced analogue was going to see my riding days out. It was sorted light and fun but didn't make up for the fact I was 60 trying to chase down guys 30 years my junior and failing badly. This SWorks Levo is an equaliser and more. It pushes you to be a better, fitter rider. Planted and playful downhill and you get double the fun up the trails, pulling air while everyone else is grinding. If you haven't ridden one honestly go do it. Twice as many trails, 10 times the fun!

Its like down-hilling up hill! So Fun!

The 2019 Specialized Turbo Levo Sworks eBike is insanely fun! I always tell my friends, ""its like down hilling up hill!"" The bikes down hill capabilities are amazingly accurate, fast, agile, and just rips. Love it. Buy one!
