We said it once, and we'll say it again—more volume means more speed. It might sound flipped on its head, but one ride on the Fuse Expert will have you shouting 27.5+ praises from the mountaintop.

These bigger tires put out more traction, more floatation, and better handling without sacrificing anything to efficiency on climbs. And then there's everything else that makes it ride like a proper trail machine, like striking the perfect blend of performance and durability. This meant spec'ing it with strong alloy rims, a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, dropper post, and a plush RockShox Reba RL fork with 120mm of smooth travel. This Fuse is equally ready to take a beating and to hand one out to the trail.

  • M4 Aluminum with Smooth Welds proved to be the right material for the job, allowing a lightweight, durable frame with a low and slack geometry that's equal parts snappy and efficient on climbs and descents. It also allowed us to incorporate our exclusive Diamond Stay that accommodates the 27.5+ wheels & tires without compromising on our hallmark short chainstays.

  • A RockShox Reba RL 29/6Fattie fork features up to 120mm of plush, trail-taming travel. It's also air-sprung for smooth travel and low stiction, and it has an adjustable rebound and compression lockout for more efficiency on the climbs.

  • SRAM's 12-speed NX Eagle groupset features a wide gear range that delivers climbing and descending efficiency in spades. On top of this, the one-by setup is notorious for being next to impossible to drop a chain with, and it provides a significant weight savings in comparison to a standard two-by setup.

Love this bike!

After riding several FSR's since 1998, I decided I wanted to go back to the simplicity of a hardtail. After testing several different bikes, I pulled the trigger on the Fuse Expert 27.5+. I love the 27.5 diameter wheel (29's just feel too big for me) and the 3.0 tire width is the perfect balance for me between speed, traction, and float on a hardtail. I've been riding this bike for about 6 months now and the one word I would use to describe it is simply ""FUN!"" Switching back to a hardtail has challenged me to focus more on my skills as a rider to still conquer the same trails I have ridden for years on the FSR's, but that is adding to the fun and challenge. If you are a trail/freeride oriented rider, the FUSE is a bike you should check out.

Absolutely wonderful

When I searched for a bike I wanted a good drivetrain and plus tires or 29 inch wheels, this bike was perfect. I ride pretty aggressively and this bike meets all my expectations. It was a great purchase.

A solid workhorse that is a master of none but great at all!

This bike is a great all around bike that you can ride around town with, use for workouts, or tear up some local trails. My only confusion is what the front break is, website says ""SRAM Level TRL"" but I can't find anything on ""TRL"". Only upgrades I'd recommend is putting a bigger chainring upfront like a 34t or 32t, and/or getting a set of 29s if you ride payment a lot. If you're looking at this bike, get it, if you're looking for a versatile hardtail, get it, if you're looking for a ""plug-n-play"" type bike that is fantastic right out of the box, get it.

The fuse is a keeper

Through axles on both wheels, a modern lightweight frame, and quality components make this bike amazing. It's fast with the 12 speed drivetrain, comfortable with the air fork and 3 inch tires, and the dropper is a must have for progressing riders. Be sure to set the tires up tubeless to gain all the advantages of 27.5+ tires. I'm 5'5"" and the small size fits well
