The security and control that the Fatboy provides is unparalleled. Those fat, 27.5x3.8 tires dramatically boost your traction, grip, and floatation over the trail. We built the Fatboy with a durable list of components, like a SRAM 12-speed one-by drivetrain, that perform season after season.

A VERY FAT FLAVOR OF ADVENTURE

It boils down to a single word: adventure. The Fatboy's massive tires (27.5x3.8") float over rocks, roots, sand, snow, ice.... Let's put it this way, if it's part of mother earth, those big tires will roll right over it with a mix of comfort and traction that's unrivaled. Get out there.

• Premium, M5 alloy frame is light on the scales, yet holds up to any adventure.

• Lightweight carbon-fiber fork provides tons of compliance and absorbs chatter.

• The SRAM SX Eagle 1X drivetrain is simple, yet gives you plenty of gearing to tackle any climb.

Chovendo no molhado

Rocky Mountain Snow Cruiser!

Bought this in January 2020, added a dropper and Maxxis Colossus 4.5 tires. By far the easiest tubeless conversion I've ever done, just remove the tube! The Stout rims utilize a neoprene nipple washer so rim tape is not needed!!! The SX derailleur is the bikes Achilles heel. The spring is weak and sometimes it's impossible to shift to the smallest cog, especially at low temperatures.

3 flats in first 400 miles

I bought this and had to fix the back tire 2 times and the front tire once. 95% of my mileage has been on the road. This amount of flats are unacceptable. I like the bike otherwise.

Big fun in the snow

Bought it for winter riding, never got off it. Big wheels keep on turnin'. .Hope to add a dropper seatpost soon.

Brakes are junk!

The first time that I ride this bike is down a steep and rocky canyon. I am surprised at how the brakes fail to stop me. I only weigh 170 pounds also. Don't expect much from the entry level SX drivetrain either. I am told that the rims are not tubeless ready, so I have pay for another yet upgrade.

Front rotor noise was almost a deal breaker.

This bike is as advertised. I like the ride, like the versatility it provides. However, when I bought the bike, the front rotor was vibrating and made a very loud and high pitched noise that increased with an increase in speed. On day 2, I took the bike back to WheelSport in Spokane and they tried several times (they had the bike for a week) to adjust this with no luck. They took the entire front assembley apart several times and re-installed, trying to fix the problem. The guys at WS agreed that this noise was not acceptable and finally just replaced the front rotor (at their cost) with a new $150 rotor. Had they not been able to do this, I would have returned the bike. I have no idea if this is a common issue or just a fluke but it was obvious and annoying from the start. Hopefully it was only an issue on my bike. I have always ridden Specialized but that is in large part because of the guys at Wheelsport, not necessarily just the bikes.

Para ela ficar 100% precisaria de uma suspensão

great performance great value

I've used this bike for everything from rock gardens to river crossings to snow. it handles great ( for a fat bike). the weight of the bike is very good considering that its an aluminum frame. I was expecting a bike that would awful to push up the hills, but this bike climbs just as well as my trail bike! I was also a little skeptical about the new sram sx eagle but it performs great, only a minuscule difference in performance from the well renowned gx eagle. If you are looking to get into fat biking this is the bike for you.
