It’s simple: fat tires—really fat tires—equal more fun. Especially if you define fun as insane levels of traction and rides that take you deep into places you never dreamed bikes could go. We built the Fatboy SE with durable, no-nonsense components that perform season after season.

A VERY FAT FLAVOR OF ADVENTURE

It boils down to a single word: adventure. The Fatboy’s massive tires (26x4.6”) float over rocks, roots, sand, snow, ice…. Let’s put it this way, if it’s part of mother earth, those big tires will roll right over it with a mix of comfort and traction that’s unrivaled. Get out there.

• Premium, M5 alloy frame is light on the scales, yet holds up to any adventure.

• Alloy fork with air-formed legs pairs perfectly with fat tires to erase trail chatter.

• Shimano single-ring 10-speed drivetrain is simple, accurate and reliable.

Perfect Bike For Me

I just bought a used one in Taupe and I love it. It rides great in the mud. I will spend many happy hours on it.

Good bike, noisy front brake

The bike is good, but clearly there is a problem with the front brake, it is noisy because the rotor touches the fork, when you ride. I had to grind the fork and remove 2mm where the brake pads are mounted and also replaced the rotor for a stronger one and since the noise is gone. I have installed a dropper post, change the pedals, handle bar, stem… I even use it for mountain biking during the summer, it’s a good bike and I will recommend it, however it is not perfect out of the box. I was a bit disappointed first because I was expecting a better quality from Specialized, I should not have to repair a brand new bike.

The bike is great but the noise...

I'm 6'6"" and the xl frame fits perfectly. However whenever you gain some speed the fork flexes and causes a grinding noise. Specialized warrantied my wheels thinking it'd solve the issue but it did not. They concluded the xl frames are prone to the noise due to the fork being longer. Other than the noise the bike rides like a dream.

Great first buy

Great bike. The vibrating rotors bothered me at first. But the bike shop replaced them with carbon rotors for free and not a sounds since. Great handling.
