My other bike is a Trek Madone...

...and yes I LOVE them equally! I bought my Expexition Sport in May, 2016, the same day I was diagnosed terminally ill. I started riding it that night and it became a prime tool of my recovery. (The doctor died 2 months later) Ridden up to about 100 mi/ day on bike trails in total comfort. The total package is a bit heavy compared to the Madone, but so is a feather. It's like owning a Ferrari and a Rolls!!! For comparison I am 75 years old, been riding as an adult since age 19, and still ride several times/week. My Expedition Sport gave me my health back!!! I've owned a lot of bicycles over the years but this bike is one of my favorites ever! Ever.

Best bike purchase ever!!!

Bought in 2013 after Physical Therapy was over for a ortho joint procedure. First flat 5/2023. I wash off with distilled water and use grease lightning on the chain. Very comfort frame setup. Highly recommend to bikes we all grew up around. I will never part with this design.

This bike is great for commenting, cruising about, anything you like to do. I bought mine in 2016. Now with gas prices I'm planing my trips and errands differently.
