Specialized Expedition

I’ve only owned mountain bikes, so this was quite the change. Usually my mountain bikes sit pretty high and the lower pedals on the Expedition had me a little worried about scraping over gravel. I took the bike out for the first time and loved the design right from the start! The medium size step through frame was a great size for me! The handles are wide and gave my hands way more resting space. I tend to grip the handlebars a bit too much so this really helped expand my grip! The seat supports the lschium bones(or I guess butt bones) which is really nice for long rides. The tires did really well in the rain. Where I am from, we have a lot of hills. This isn’t the best bike for uphills. The strides for pedaling are a bit shorter than a mountain bike, so it was harder for me gain momentum uphill especially at a complete stop. Besides the little things, overall this bike is fantastic for a cruise ride, the backroads or a journey through the city!
