The Epic Hardtail sports one of the lightest production frames to date, but it’s a hell of a lot more than that. We designed the most capable and comfortable racing chassis ever created, because you’re not fast if you’re being pummeled by the trail. It’s a game changer. MORE CONTROL MEANS MORE SPEED

Looking to ride faster? Who isn’t? That’s why we relaxed its head angle and lengthened the reach. The Epic retains a short wheelbase for deft handling yet offers more predictable steering and a centered rider position for increased control and speed on any trail.

My favorite bike in the stable.....

This is the only bike I own I wouldn't trade. Wonderful ride. I changed to AXS, 4 piston brakes with 200F and 180R rotors and a AXS dropper. My friends question if its an e-bike....cuze it flys

Quasi una bomba!

Utilizzo questa bicicletta da un anno esatto e mi sono sempre trovato bene. È molto reattiva e veloce sia in salita che in discesa. Linea semplice e pulita che nasconde un purosangue da gara. L'unica cosa che non mi soddisfa sono i freni che non sono troppo performanti nelle discese tecniche lunghe,per il resto sono soddisfatto del prodotto.

Amazing Bike

This is my 4th Specialized and my 3rd Specialized hart tail. They keep innovating and improving. I'm amazed at how, light, agile and solid this bike feels. It handles everything really well. This is now the bike I reach for first most of the time. It climbs effortlessly, descends so well I sometimes forget it's a hard tail. Is equally good on fire roads or singletrack. It has made my local trails seem more interesting and I find myself taking the longer loops more and putting more miles on since it's so nice to pedal. I think this is one of the best hard tails you can get in 2020 and a great all around choice for well rounded XC bike.

Best hardtail MTB on the market

Climbing is inspired with immediate acceleration from the lightweight carbon wheels. The Power saddle that comes with the bike snaps to my bum like Lego, with no discomfort at all. The descents are inspired--fantastic stability with the new slacker head tube angle and wider handlebars. Although I had some initial hesitation about the Brain fork, the dynamic valving actually seems smart; it is open when you need cush and closed when you are hammering gravel roads! Seriously fast, comfortable, fun bike!
