Whether your goal is to escape on gravel back roads, far from cars and crowds, or drop the hammer at the front of your favorite gravel race, no bike does it better than the new Diverge. It’s quite simply the fastest, most capable - and just maybe the most fun - bike we’ve ever made, delivering a ride that’s quick and lively under power, but stable and confidence inspiring when the terrain gets rough. From Future Shock 2.0 and all-new gravel geometry, to internal storage and category leading tire clearance, the new Diverge represents everything we’ve learned over more than 40 years of riding road, gravel and dirt. The Diverge writes an entirely new chapter in the gravel bike category, so you can dream up entirely new rides. It’s the ultimate getaway vehicle.

The Diverge Comp Carbon features the same game changing FACT 9r Carbon frame and Future Shock 2.0 as our Pro build but spec’d with SRAM’s mechanical shifting Rival 1 1x11 gravel group. Alloy DT Swiss G540 wheels keep you rolling efficiently, while Kanza winning Pathfinder Pro 42mm tires deliver performance across smooth pavement, dirt roads and gravel tracks. To give the Diverge Comp a perfectly balanced ride we spec Roval’s Terra seat post.

  • With a FACT 9r carbon frame, the Diverge Expert frame is incredible capable and race bike light. Pin it for your local dirt climb KOM, or grind up a giant back country peak, the light and lively Diverge will get you there faster.

  • Speed, control and confidence - Future Shock 2.0 is the ultimate technology for the gravel rider. With 20mm of axial compliance and a hydraulic damper, Future Shock 2.0 suspends the rider not the bike. This keeps you confident and in control, able to keep the power down and stay off the brakes over rough dirt roads and in thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh. Since Future Shock 2.0’s damper is adjustable, you’ll be ready for the rough stuff and efficient on smooth pavement.

  • We’ve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out. Note: all carbon models will need an aftermarket seatpost clamp with rack mount to install a rear rack. (Part Number: S184700001).

  • We’ve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out.

  • Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive side chain stay utilizing a solid beam of carbon behind the chain rings we’ve created clearance without using a fragile dropped chain stay design or increasing chain stay length.

  • The more capable your bike, the bigger your rides get, so Diverge borrows SWAT internal storage from the legendary Stumpy. The SWAT door lets you utilize space in the down tube to store tools, a flat kit, nutrition and even our SWAT Jacket. It keeps weight off your body, low in the bike for better handling, and makes you more self-sufficient, so get out there. SWAT’s got your back.

Comfy

Good comfortable ride. Pretty light. Not road fast but fun bike. Good for bike packing. Put good miles on already but mostly road and some gravel. Pathfinder in back spilt along tread. Hit a big rock. Replaced (tubes popped, went tubeless sealant just poured out). Replaced seat and seat stem (more preference). Had a few loose screws etc. Brake discs kept loosening and i had to give them a good hard tighten. Plastic cover on chainstay lost a bolt and came loose. I like the feel of future shock on stem. Not sure I like the extra complication for removing though. Great bike!

I don't know what makes this Diverge so amazing

But I know I love it. When I ride my Diverge, I feel so happy. Crazy happy. I have been eyeing this bike for a couple years. I went to the bike shop to buy a bell and ended up with a Diverge Comp Carbon. It's the best bell I ever bought. I am not a roadie. I am primarily a mountain biker but I cannot stop riding this bike on paved paths (road riding = death around here). I can't stop smiling after my rides. It makes me happy.

What a bike

My 2012 gravel bike has been ridden hard and I needed a new bike. I choose the The Diverge based on reviews and recommendations. I am very impressed with this bike. I honestly did not think it would be this good of a bike. It rides great, likes to go fast and has very good confident handling. Great bike and it looks amazing.

This is a fantastic bike.

This is a fantastic bike. Personally, I love the design of this frame. But it's not just a pretty bike, it's also very clever and capable. I really like the suspension and it's adjustability. And the SWAT storage is really convenient and I no longer use the seat bag that I used on my previous bike. My one gripe is that I wish this had one more gear on the back to get some extra range on especially steep climbs. And maybe the Shimano GRX groupset instead of the Sram Rival, but I think that's more personal preference than performance. I want to eventually put on a Classified groupset system, but I have to save up a bit more for that. O, and I do really like the tires that this comes with, but they are focus on smooth rolling roads without much loose stuff. Loose stuff get's a bit slidey with these, but I appreciate the speed that I get on the roads. This is a great bike for road endurance with occasional, well maintained gravel. Maybe I'll put on some bigger 650b wheels/tires for the really rough stuff, but again, money. Overall, I do recommend this to anyone who's looking for a single bike to do both road and gravel.

Commuting beast or gravel grinder

This bike is absolutely superb. Future shock 2.0 makes a huge impact on your ride quality, but its barely noticeable. The lockout allows you to set the suspension for your weight and ride feel, with the ability to become rigid. This bike is simply FUN. One minor complaint I have is with the granny gear. at a 42/44 gear ratio, it is still hard to climb some of the steeper hills. Many riders would benefit from swapping the chainring to a 40 tooth. Other than the granny gear on some sections, the gearing on this bike is phenomenal. Sram doubletap works like a dream. Highlights include the swat box and the tires on this bike. I have my entire flat kit in the swat box including spare tube, co2, and mult-tool. Pathfinder pro tires are one of my favorite parts on this bike. The smooth center tread allows you to roll fast on paved roads or trails, and the knobs on the shoulders provides grip on the dirt and gravel.

The Diverge comp is an

The Diverge comp is an amazing bike. Fits like a glove and handles well. Wish it was a tad lighter but overall I can’t complain. Just complete a BWR with it and it was perfect. Swat box is practical and future shock was helpful on the long ride. Would definitely recommend if you can find it in your size. I ordered online and had it shipped to my local bike shop and they dialed it in for me in a few days. You can get it faster by requesting direct shipment to your home and the bike will come complete except for the wheels.

Love this bike. Favorites about

Love this bike. Favorites about the bike - SWAT door Integration - no longer use a saddle bag. The Future Shock 2.0 suspension is nice in the gravel. Really like the thru axles and Power Sport Seat. I’m 6-1 and ride the 58cm. Great fit and it feels like it was made for specifically for me.

First of all it is

First of all it is I only was able to get this bike because of the Specialized website and my local bike shop Broken Spoke of Green Bay!! My local bike shop told me to go the website each day to see if they are in and have it shipped to him. So I did...but after one day of doing this I noticed the website said "email me when in" and so I did! TWO DAYS LATER... it was in and I received an email that its in my cart! So, quickly I went to go purchase it and within I think 5 day turn around I was off riding my bike!! :) So that is the first tip I would tell you if you looking for this bike that is out or any other bike on this website. As for the bike it self! It gets a A+! I am a "rookie" to gravel biking..... only one year under my belt (I had a Specialized Diverge Base) and it was fun to get into gravel biking with....even did a 50 mile race! Soooo, with that said I kind of wanted better breaks, lighter bike and so on.. and so I fell into this one. LOVE the color and look first of all its so classic.... all the bike boys think its cool! lol But so far I have done a few longer rides 45+ and love the Future Shock suspension I "kooshed it up" as we like to say on the gravel roads at it was great. The handle bars on a little different then my last one and I like the feel of them so far. I did swap out the saddle for my old Diverge seat actually and so far love it. I also like the SWAT door! I have my tube/tools/CO2/ and snacks in there at the moment! :) Very useful. Also LOVE the look and feel of the tires.. matched them with a brown Cedaerobag and I also get many complements on both! So if you are lucky enough to see one of these in a shop ... I would day "DO IT" and grab it while you can!! Hope this helps anyone! Happy Riding :)
