After trying almost every saddles in the Specialized lineup, I found that this one is the best for me because of the level 3 padding. The extra cushion and the Mimic technology really seems to work well for comfort. A couple negative points: the actual weight of my 143mm Bridge saddle is 326 grams which is far from the stated weight of 246 grams on the Specialized website. Also, I bought 2 saddles and one of them started creaking as if the rail shifts in place when I hit a bump on the road. All in all, I would love to see Romin or Power saddles with level 3 paddings for extra comfort instead of having to spend upwards of 500$ for the Mirror technology.
This is the comfiest saddle I've used. However, Product Details shares the 155 saddle should weigh 250g and mine weighs in in at 320g, which is a significant difference.
For size 155mm it says weight 250g. I weighed it on two different scales and it is more like 325g. For most people that will not matter but my bike is very light by design.
Recently switched from road bike to e-assist VADO 3.0 - going for longer rides, road and gravel. Couldn't find a seat that felt comfortable and didn't cause saddle sores. Finally tried the Specialized Bridge Comp Saddle + MIMIC and it's the best. Able to size the saddle for my 120mm sit bones. Resulted in less rubbing and no saddle sores. The MIMIC padding is very comfortable- no pressure in the sensitive areas. Specialized was great about allowing me to try another saddle and returned it easily when it didn't work out. Very happy with my purchase.
Well if I was a triathlete with very low body fat and narrow hips or perhaps a little girl, this would be a great seat. But my sitbones are 150 mm apart and I have plenty of flesh down there, so this saddle doesn’t began to support me or allow room for my lady parts. I think these saddles were unintentionally aimed at those women who ride a ton (who are thus lean) and whose pelvis are narrow enough to sort of tolerate the narrow male saddles long enough to become elite riders. The rest of us regular wider hipped women are still under the radar because we gave up early on due to pain from tiny saddles. I’d like to see a saddle like this with maybe four times the room for lady parts and widths up to at least 200 mm. And I’d pay a lot for it,
Love this seat so much I put it on all my bikes.
Very pleased with this seat, we're both older riders (M&F) and happy with the padding and ease on the privates. We typically ride 20 mile gravel and carriage trails, and these seats made a big differnece.
highly recommend this saddle for your levo. it’s really comfortable, has an amazingly padded nose for climbing and really wears well. cover has perfect slip for movement and deck has near perfect flex. for your mountain bike? if you don’t mind the weight, this think weighs 319 grams, oof. great saddle for a levo
Very comfortable
I spent an hour at local LBS trying out all the Specialized saddles - power, rivo, 3D printed, regular bridge, etc, etc. I would have spent $500 for a saddle as I ride 150 miles a week and I'm 6' 3" 230 pounds. I got this saddle for a little over a hundred and put it on. Been riding all week and wondering how to adjust it and how it would feel. Actually forgot about the saddle - that's how comfortable it is. It's the perfect amount of padding and rigidity, the perfect length and the perfect feel. It's enough to make a grown man cry.
Size 168 is actually 336 grams.
Saddle is made from great materials, but don't believe the weight specialized published, My size 168 saddle weighted 335 grams.
I used your sadle size calculator and ordered this seat its great and so comfortable. Can't wait to get out on long rides again.
Upgraded from a Bridge Sport 155mm to the Bridge Comp 168mm. Personally, better weight distribution and comfort, translating to pain-free hour + rides
Extremely comfortable
It's a good saddle, good cushion, but not for my anatomy. I tried lot's of adjusts re: tilt and fore and aft but couldn’t find a sweet spot. I went back to my old saddle which is a shorter length.
I have a Salsa Vaya, which is an all road steel bike with drop bars and a rather upright geometry on the 49.5cm frame. I tried a Brooks B17, a Specialized Power, a Selle Italia Diva Super Flow and a couple other saddles, but none were more comfortable than the Bridge Comp with Mimic. I love the Mimic because it is so much more comfortable for those sensitive areas. The mimic was great on the power saddle but that saddle wasn't flat enough for my sit bones. Anyway, the Bridge Comp with Mimic seems to be my goldilocks saddle in 155mm, which is about 20 mm wider than my sit bone measurement.
It was not a good fit for me because my sit bones couldn’t take the pressure. However the narrow nose and cut out was excellent with no soft tissue pain and no inner thigh chafing. I would recommend to anyone with less delicate sit bones. Well made.
I love this saddle. I especially love that it’s in my size, 155mm. It’s not too hard or too soft. It’s just right.
Love this saddle. Excellent fit for me and for my ebike
Very comfortable. I tried the Power Pro Elaston saddle and liked this saddle better.
Very comfortable saddle.
I was waiting for more models with the Mimic technology after riding other cutout saddles from Bontrager. Love this saddle. Put in on my gravel bike and planning on another for my CX bike. Very comfortable and supportive back end, and the nose isn't to wide, I don't notice it. I've got a 155 cm upon suggestion from the tool and it's perfect.
Have ridden for 35 years and this is hands down the most comfortable saddle i have used. I have narrow sit bones and the 143mm worked just fine. Best features med firm padding back and softer padding on front section. With a nice depressed soft middle section. Only apology is the the wire cage attachment to the rear of the seat, its loose ,wiggles a little on the left side steel wire, they need to bend the steel end where it attaches to the molded seat, or mold the hole that the wire frame goes into the molded section. Just does not fit tight. Come on Specialized fix this design flaw. This was also noted by another riders review. So only 4 stars because of this. % Stars if they redesign this fitting problem. I am only 14l lbs so not a weight problem.
The saddle is well made with a nice feel to the materials and the padding. I personally find the long nose saddles comfortable so this one works well for me. It is not 100% comfortable from the start but the discomfort level doesn't increase in the same way as it does on other saddles that I own. For me, it goes from a little uncomfortable to a little more uncomfortable instead of from comfortable to unbearable as some others do. I also really like the mimic technology. No numbness.
