  • Non-toxic, non-separating formula doesn't have a limited shelf life like the competition.

  • Coats the tube for permanent protection.

  • Works with any bicycle tube with a removable valve core.

  • Works continuously to prevent slow leaks.

  • Completely homogenous, so it doesn't puddle.

  • 8oz bottle fills two inner tubes.

  • 8oz bottle includes valve puller and hose under cap.

Sealant to viscous— not usable

I’ve used Stans, Orange Seal and Mucoff — have a lot of bikes in the stable and do prefer sealant over tubes. This is labeled that it can be used for tubes and tubeless set ups. I asked the sales guy and he said worked great — was on sale and gave it a go. . this stuff is total no bueno. I shook the heck out of it and it still came out like pudding (best way to describe it) didn’t seal my wheels as it’s way too viscous to spread out as all other sealants do. I don’t know how this could work in an inner tube as it was thicker than Slime. I don’t know if what I bought was perhaps to old or maybe a bad mix. . not sure, but don’t waste your cash on it.

Precisely followed instructions - could not get any sealant into tube!

To get this sealant into a tube is an onerous process. Instructions require you to remove the brass nut on a presta valve stem, then use a small nail to push the valve stem into the tube. Then you are to hold the valve stem in place with a thumb and forefinger. At this point you should be able to add 4 oz of sealant to the tube. I followed the instructions implicitly and could not get any sealant into the tube. Nothing should be this difficult. Multiple, multiple attempts all resulted in a dismal failure. Then holding tube upside down and shaking out the valve stem was problematic as the sealant was doing what it is supposed to do - seal the valve. Avoid this stuff like the plague.

Presta OK, Schrader NO!

I have only used the Slime over the years, and I just installed this on one tube, so can’t say if it’s effective or not. However, the packaging stinks if you plan to use it with a Schrader valve inner tube. The clear plastic tube used for installation is kinked in the bottle top's outer ring, which leaves two deep kinks in the tube that you cannot work out. I even used a heat gun that is used for automotive work to try to heat up the kinks and allow me to use the rest of the bottle. Forget it! I ended up leaving about 25% in the bottle and throwing the whole thing out. Back to Slime for me. Slime provides the tube taped under their bottle label which leaves it straight.
