We have a long history of developing the world's highest performing road bikes. Tarmac, Venge, Roubaix, Allez, Diverge—each one dominates their respective category, featuring the best technologies in the industry. And while that's a tough palmarès to follow, the Turbo Creo SL redefines e-road bike performance. It's lightweight, smooth, capable, and lively—all with the power to flatten mountains, laugh at headwinds, and go farther than you ever thought possible. It's you, only faster.

The Turbo Creo SL E5 Comp features an E5 Premium Aluminum frame and a Future Shock 1.5. For the spec, we included a 1x Shimano GRX group to take on shifting and braking duties, while DT R470 Boost™ wheels get wrapped in 28mm Turbo Pro tires to keep you rolling worry-free. And for the saddle, you'll find that our fan-favorite Body Geometry Power Sport provides plenty of comfort.

  • The Creo SL is the lightest e-bike in its class—literally kilograms lighter than the competition. Not only does the lightweight and stiff, premium E5 alloy frame inspire dancing on the pedals and diving into corners, it also reduces overall system weight and increases the range.

  • The lightweight SL 1.1 motor doubles your effort with as much as 240 watts of silent and powerful assistance to amplify your ride. The motor’s responsive torque curve delivers power perfectly in-tune with your normal riding cadence and leaves no resistance when riding unassisted.

  • Battery anxiety? Not on the Creo SL. With up to 80 miles of range from the internal battery, the Creo SL eats up big miles and long days. Our optional range extender provides up to 40 additional miles of mountain-flattening power.

  • By connecting with our Mission Control App, you're able to tune the SL 1.1 motor to your riding style, record rides, and monitor the battery. The app can handle battery management automatically too, ensuring the battery will last as long as you need it to. The motor even has a built-in power meter that transmits to any ANT+ head unit. Don’t want to connect? No worries—the Turbo Connect Unit (TCU) on the top tube gives you all the control you need to ride.

  • With 20mm of rough-road-taming travel, the Future Shock 1.5 not only delivers a smoother, more comfortable ride, but it also reduces fatigue and increases speed over harsh terrain. The new Smooth Boot, meanwhile, enhances the aesthetics to bring a clean transition from the head tube to the stem.

  • We’ve learned there can be more difference between two male cyclists than between a male and a female cyclist. Gender alone doesn’t provide enough data to specialize. It means that separating bikes as male or female is arbitrary and outdated. With this in mind, we've developed a geometry that's best-fit for all riders—one that's comfortable, snappy, and handles like a dream.

Response from Specialized

Grazie per aver scelto i nostri prodotti. Enjoy your ride.

An Equalizer

When age and heath issues greatly restricted my capabilities riding my Specialized Sirrus I reluctantly tried the Creo E5. What a wonderful experience!! Has allowed me to return to the routes and distance I had lost the ability to do. Yes, an "equalizer " for me.

It's just fun going faster!

Like Specialized says, it's you only faster. I've been road cycling for 10 years and I'll have to admit that heading straight on into headwinds and slow riding uphill, while challenging, is just not much fun. With the Turbo Creo, you are still very much working out but you are also moving faster and that keeps things very fun. I love to go as fast whenever I can but I usually keep it at the lowest setting for safety reasons on the bike path. I've topped out at around 39 mph downhill before running out of gears. The bike is super light in ebike standards and looks super flashy and feels well made. Worth. Every. Single. Penny.

Incredible ride.

I upgraded to this bike after 30,000 miles on another flat bar ebike. The Creo is a major upgrade in lots of areas. Quality of build is excellent. Motor is pretty quiet. Mission control lets you tune the engine for speed or distance. Ride is super smooth. Shifting and braking are excellent and smooth. Drop bars are way better than flat bars on the road. Super fun with your new superman or superwoman pedal assisted legs.

Update

I gave a 3 star review based upon riding with Specialized flat pedals and getting several pedal strikes while pedaling through corners. Once my new clipless pedals and shoes arrived, the pedal strike issue was resolved. The bike is perfect for my routine 2 +/- hours of riding in 3 days per week. Adding Pathfinder 700 X 42mm (setup tubeless) tires allows me to run them under 50 psi and provides a much nicer ride on rough streets, gravel and light trail riding. I may lose some speed with the Pathfinders but the comfort trade off is well worth it. Other than the dropper post, my E5 is now essentially an alloy Evo. So I am now settled in and very pleased with the performance of the E5. It's road/trail versatility make it a perfect addition to my ebike collection.

Great Equalizer

The bike can really do it all and comes in a stylish, lightweight package. I went with the Matte Black and had the tires swapped out for the EVO, gravel tires which are more conducive of my routes. Have been on more than a dozen rides now, ranging from 20-50 miles on a variety of routes from flat to hills. You decide how much effort you want throughout the ride. Gear changes are smooth and quick, good brakes and all the power you need if you want it. Each of the 3 levels of assist are significant to each other with level 3 (turbo) being the most and can make anyone a world class cyclist. I am very happy with this purchase.

Everything it claims to be

I've had my Creo SL E5 for a little over one week. After 4 rides this is my take on the bike. First comfort, it is smoother than any of my carbon road bikes that I own. Rough terrain is not a problem for the Creo SL. I did not care for the specialized power saddle and swapped it for a Fizik Allante. The mission control is amazing! You can set the assist up anyway you want. I have my eco set at 35% assist, sport at 50% assist, turbo at 100% assist. I typically only use eco. My wife has a Vado 3.0. She's logged 10000 miles in the last 2 years with it. I typically draft behind her at 22-28 miles per hour. Now I can take my pulls with the assist of Eco and maintain those types of speeds. When I draft her I shut my motor off as it feels like a typical road bike at that point. At the end of today's 60-mile ride I still had 57% battery remaining. I don't need to use Sport or Turbo unless I'm desperate! I have not taken the bike to the mountains yet, but that is where I think it will really help me keep up with my wife on her Vado! My wife and I are both 63 and we are having the time of our lives with these bikes. Great product.

My previous review ...

Please do not post my previous review nor this statement. My issue with Pedal strikes on the Creo has been resolved. I will submit a more positive 5 star review in the next few days.

On the road again ...

At 69, I thought my road bike riding days were coming to an end. Enter the Specialized Turbo Creo and I was truly excited to be back in the saddle. I received the bike this week and although I'm a long way from good bike shape, I can see getting there this year. In my 2 initial rides which were shorted by smoke from the fires here in CA, I managed to grind out 50 miles (with mask) averaging 18 mph. The bike is responsive and Turdo mode is really fun but Sport mode seems my sweet spot for decent mileage. I'm too old to be trying to prove anything, just ride for pleasure and get some great exercise in the process. My only complaint and reason for 3 out of 5 stars is due to the XXL bikes crank length and ground clearance, I got a few pedal strikes pedalling through corners that would normally not be a problem (previous road bike was a Marin XL frame) . The only answer for now is to coast through the corners, outside pedal down but that seems weird to me. Powering through corners is fun. When I measured the pedal clearance, it is only 2.5"" from the ground with the bike vertical. That makes leaning into corners while pedaling impossible. I hope Specialized has an answer for me as I really like the bike but this seems like it might be a fatal flaw at least for the XXL. As to my recommendation below, I would have a hard time recommending the XXL due to this issue.

Love this bike!

I've been riding with a group for about 10 years. After three knee surgeries impacted my strength and stamina, I found this wonderful option! It is sleek, powerful, responsive and has made be look forward to those hilly upstate NY rides. Love this bike! Since I bought mine and have raved about it, three of my buddies have purchased one.

Hooked!

This bike has it all! I am a first time rider road bike wise. I barely use the motor on my rides. It's quiet smooth and just all around sexy. I love to ride this bike so much I have put over 100 miles on it in less than a week. I know that's is nothing for most serious riders but for a newbie I'd say that's saying something. Cost is a bit high but justified for what you get in quality.

Wow, I'm 20 years younger.

I can't find any fault with this bike, I'm 77 years old and was having a hard time keeping up with groups I ride with. Not anymore, my average speed went from 12.5 mph to 16.5 and I still maintained the same calorie burn if not more. It puts the fun back into riding again!

Überragendes Rad

Benutze das Rad privat und zum Pendeln. Brauche statt 1h15 jetzt 45Min.
