Sirrus X is your ticket to riding more, and to places you never imagined possible. It’s a comfortable, capable, “let’s do stuff” kind of bike that will inspire you to ride more than you ever have before. With bigger, confidence inspiring tires, a slightly more upright riding position, a super intuitive one-by drivetrain, and plenty of mounts for racks and fenders—it’s more than just a solid partner on pavement. Sirrus X is a dialed option when it’s time to hit some gravel. We’ve also equipped every Sirrus X with next-level comfort from our scientifically tested and ergonomically engineered Shared Platform Body Geometry saddle, handgrips, and pedals. We equipped Sirrus X 4.0 with the revolutionary Future Shock to take the sting out of bumps and potholes. Here’s to your life on two wheels.

  • Future Shock 1.5 delivers 20mm of compliance to give maximum comfort and control over the rough stuff.

  • Added Carbon Fork and an A1 SL alloy frame delivers a build 1.6lb (.8kg) lighter than the 3.0 model–no heavy hybrid featuring a mountain style suspension fork comes close.

  • Wide-range 1x11 SRAM NX shifting delivers precise shifting for the long haul.

Versatile, Resilient, and Fun!

Sirrus X 4.0 is designed and built to meet my needs across a variety of riding demands. I’ve taken it riding through a handful of different gravel trails and frequent 30 mile rides along the beach in SoCal. When I want to hit some downhill action, I have a separate bike. Riding position is comfortable while providing stability and control. The future shock feature is interesting and I’ve grown to enjoy it once I switched to a stiffer spring. Again, this bike hits the sweet-spot for the riding I do MOST OFTEN. If you want versatility, this bike is it.

Siri’s 4.0

Overall a good bike. Faster and more comfortable then comparable competitor’s bike.

A bit of a disappointment

Overall, it's not a bad bike but I expected more for the money paid. The bike is comfortable enough and although not exactly light (about 24lb), it feels solid and rides well. The Future Shock 1.5 is actually a really nice feature that evens out rough terrain like bad pavement (city riding) and coarser gravel on dirt trails. Weaknesses of this bike: the drivetrain and overall build quality. The SRAM NX 11 is kludgy at best and had to be in the shop for adjustments 3 times within first 400 miles of use. The bike also developed an annoying clicking sound that seemed to be coming from the bottom bracket. The bike shop did overhauled the bb (out of pocket expense) which decreased the clicking noise level but did not make the click go away. Having this kind of problems on a new $1,400 bike is just sub optimal. I'm not sure I have the time, patience or willingness to keep paying for chasing the clicking noise, but let's just say the Sirrus X 4.0 is a disappointment.

Gravel/cross bike

I was Looking for something between my road and mt bike and this did the trick. Nice finishes, light at 24 lbs with descent saddle and SRAM shifting with 11-42 cassette and a single upfront allow this to go anywhere. Discs are sure and give you the stop on a dime necessary when in the city which this bike will be for its life. Although old I ride aggressively so brakes are really important for me to remain upright vs someone’s grill. The mt bike was great for years for short rides but clunky and not svelte enough which was what I was aiming for. A great all rounder! And nice looking!
