Great ride, poor longevity

Grippy, smooth and fast. But doesn’t last - both started cracking after a couple hundred miles with lots of tread left, had to pull them. Defective?

Tough Tire

My wifes Creo came with these. While out and about she hit a piece of asphalt at about 21 mph. Both tubes popped, no visible damage to the tires. However I think one has a belt issue. It seems to be out of round. The wheel is true.

compound now cracking

At first I loved these, really enjoyed the lively ride, and good grip on dry surfaces. I was disappointed to see cracking in the rubber compound after about 9 months. Bike is stored in an attached garage that stays close to home temperature all year. Just bought something else as i won't spend money again on a product that fails prematurely.

Racing tire

Great tire for racing if you plan to use only a few rides. I have flatted more times since running these tires at recommended pressure 100-110 PSI. Not good for training, feel every crack, small stone etc. Double pinched front wheel tube at 39 MPH hit small stone I never even saw. Went back to see what I hit.....

Specialised turbo tyres 700 x 24

Have not used my current purchase yet but these tyres were fitted to my bike when I purchased it. I found they were hard wearing, one puncture in two years. I was riding approximately 120 to 150 miles per week. They suit my purpose and I would recommend them.

These are great tires! A

These are great tires! A local bike shop replaced my original tires on my Tarmac - tires they selected and that cost $75 each. Those tires incurred flats almost every time I went out for a long ride over the same roads I always ride. These new tires from Specialized have performed flawlessly! One hint; let them warm up in the sun before installing them to make them easier to put on. Stick with Specialized!

I have 3 road bikes.

I have 3 road bikes. I run different tires and sizes on each of them, just to compare. I run these on my Aluminum Fuji, the bike I do most of my miles on. I run 700 x 26mm, they have been reliable, durable, complaint, and they are reasonably priced, Solid tire. A bit heavier than Pirellis I run on my Carbon bike,

Great tire for the money. Ride is very comfortable, corners very well even at 90-95 lbs. Sidewalls are very strong, but compliant.

I would buy this item again

I love these tires and only use them on my road bikes. The grip and shock absorption is amazing and great on all pavements and cornering.

Found my new favorite tire.

I don't usually ride in the rain, but the first day I rode the tires, it poured on me. The grip in wet was great, and on dry tarmac, they rolled and cornered really well.

I will buy these tires again.

The tire is fantastic. Smooth ride at 100PSI. Durability is great. Mounting a bit of a challenge with a tight bead to get onto the rim. Watch the ""Tube pinch"" when moving the last 4 inches over the edge onto the rim. In the Fall and Spring, I don't run these tires, but perfect when road surfaces are cleaned up for warmer weather.

The most durable tire I have found yet!

These tires came stock on my Turbo Creo. I have ridden on them for more than 5000 miles and the wear dimples are still visible on both tires. Other tires I have used on my other bikes have barely made it to half that number of miles. In addition I have had no flats, none! They are very comfortable to ride on, excellent adhesion to the road, corner very well. I have complete faith in them and highly recommend them

Good but not Perfect

Looking for a value priced lightweight and fast rolling tire that last this is it. However the Blackbelt puncture resistance not that great, I've been using Nimbus2 that had the same Blackbelt technology and never had a flat. Got a flat tire on my first ride. I'm sure this a good tire but if you're in an area like mine that has, glass, thorns and goatheads get something else.

Very long lasting, nice ride

These came OEM on my 2020 Roubaix Pro, and I expected to have to replace them in 500 miles. Imagine my delight when they lasted 3150 rear and 4000 miles front with ZERO flats! In fact, the TWI showed plenty of rubber left at replacement. The only reason I did replace was that the ride was starting to feel unstable, I am guessing because the rubber had grown hard and so less grippy. I replaced with Conti 5000's which are much more fragile, and less flat resistant (1300 miles to replacement on rear after 2 flats in 30 minutes). As for ride, before I got that unstable feel on the road, I loved these tires, as they were smooth, supple and grippy. I would however caution that buying online from Spec is an unmitigated disaster. Partial order delivered, truly appalling communication, etc, etc. If I buy again, it will be at LBS, or online at BTD.

Very nice tire

These came on my roubaix comp. I was very shocked to go 2400 miles with only one flat each (one was a big old staple). My continental grand prix 2000 used to get 2-3x that many flats. Strava says my speed is good. Finally took a chunk out of the front tire but strangely no flat yet. I'll replace with the same.

Excellent Tire - front replaced after 4750 miles

These tires came on my 2020 Roubaix. I replaced my front tire with another Turbo Pro after exactly one year and 4750 miles with no flats. The tire looked like it has several thousand more miles left in it when I took it off. It has excellent cornering traction, a smooth ride, and low rolling resistance. I replaced the rear tire after 2000 miles with an Armadillo Elite but that tire was also in great shape with plenty of tread when I took it off. I love these tires and will continue to buy them!

Good tyre. 5000kms (3100 mi) - one flat. All weather grip.

These tyres came on my Tarmac (26mm I think) and I've just rolled over 5000kms on them with only one rear flat. They are showing a few small nicks, but I'm pretty impressed. I've just got some Conti Grand Prix 5000s in a 28mm to try when these finally wear out, so it will be interesting to see how they compare.

Best tire yet

I purchased a Specialized Tarmac with the Turbo Pro 700x28 tires. I've put over 1250 miles on the tires so far on Long Island roads with lots of debris, sand, glass and rough surfaces (yes that's road biking here). Zero flats so far and normally would have had at least 2-3 by this time of year. Nice road grip, durable and comfortable. Highly recommend this tire.

Best Decision

I purchased my Specialized Tarmac from a professional cyclist who had customized every inch of the bike for speed. That being said the tires that came on the bike were Ritchey race slicks. Needless to say the tires were fast and aggressive until this season when I noticed the bike felt sluggish and cornering was becoming more difficult. After much research on blogs and bike reviews from cycling magazines I decided to go with the Specialized Turbo Pro (Specialized was also having its annual tire sale at the time which really made it a no-brainer). I went from 700x23 to 700x26 because everyone said 25s were the new 23s (only available in 700x24/26). I have to say that the difference was dramatic and obvious from the first crank of the pedals. The tires felt as if they were pulling the bike forward. I live in NYC and riding on those streets cracks and potholes are unavoidable. I was so busy staring at my new tires that when i went over a bump in the road it felt like i was riding on a pillow. These tires really do absorb shock from the road. My final test was cornering down a steep S hill in Central Park. I would normally brake towards the bottom but I felt no need with the Turbo Pros they just made the bike feel like it was on rails. I have rode about 400 miles and definitely been setting personal records on Strava since getting these tires. Maybe next time I'll try the S-works version.

Amazing

These came standard on my new Tarmac Sport (26mm width) - so I wasn't expecting too much. However, Specialized have seemingly increased their tire game in a big, BIG way. Not only do these roll exceptionally fast, the rubber compound is very much high end - as is the tire's ability to grip for days, extending your confidence around the tightest of corners. Even where I've overcooked speed into a turn, you can bully the bike back in line and the tires oblige by holding true. Amazing. And I haven't even tried latex tubes (or tubeless) yet! The icing on the cake is that I've run over smashed glass a number of times (I live near interesting roads littered with debris) without a single flat. That surprised me plenty. If these are on your radar, do not hesitate to get some. They are awesome.

Great tires

Ok, let me start by saying that I am a big guy. I am 250 lbs with a standing sprint of 47 mph. I have road these tires for thousands of miles total (multiple sets of course). I like the dry and wet grip. They hold up and roll smooth. Not as smooth as a tubular, but for throwing down some miles and having grip they are great. I will keep buying these for my training bike as my race bike has tubulars (alas I dream of being a criterium champ).
