Can't get the tool out of the cage mount without removing it

Its too areo and compact for it's own good! The sheath around the multi tool mounts underneath the rib cage 2 bottle cage. Unfortunately, you cant get the tool out without removing the whole thing! (not the bottle cage too, just the cage mount for the multi tool) I have to carry a single allen wrench in my saddle bag to remove the thing in case I need the other tools on the multi. It's a bit redundant, but it does free up some space in the bag. Fix this Specialized, you should be able to remove the tool without removing the whole mount.

Poor design, inconvenient to use

Changed my mind, not worth using at all. Downgraded from 2 stars to 1. It is very compact and aero, but too much so for its own good! This plastic sheath fits around the multi tool and mounts underneath the specialized bottle cage in a very slick fashion. Unfortunately, it fits in a way so that when it is installed, you can't actually remove the multi tool from the sheath! That is unless you remove the whole thing (sheath and multi tool) from the bottle cage. This means you have to carry a single allen wrench with you in case you want to access the other tools on your multi. Pretty redundant, and it is hard to put back on with the little pieces you have to hold in place while maneuvering around the bottle cage. It's really not something you want to be doing on the side of the road. I don't even use it, I just put the multi in my saddle bag. Specialized needs to fix their design. Don't buy.

Bought one, now I have three

It's lighter than you think and it frees some space in your jersey pockets. And it's really sturdy as mini tools go. What's not to like?
